Turkish leaders vying to rush aid to Somalia The leader of Turkey’s main opposition party has said he is planning to travel to Somalia on the first day of the Ramadan feast. Zack-The gas in the Ocaden is least of the problem, the mismanagement of land, leasing of farm lands to foriegn brokers, and unchecked mineral exploration is displacing hundreds of thousands of peasants from Gambella, Oromo region and Amhara regions. Now, you have an army of displcaed people, many poor and unfit for urban areas. In the Ocaden, famine is not talked in the region. You have the ban on charities and the on-going conflict.
