It's very unlikely that migrants from Arabia formed the Somali nation just a thousand years ago. The language and the culture is older than that, and it's related to Oromo, Afars and others in the horn. This is more plausible explanation than some Arabs finding the Somali nation. Xaaji. Islam is not factor in determining Somali ethnicity. It only applies to Arabised countries in North Africa and parts of the Middle namely Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.

Salaax. You can't have both ways, you can't say some people are from Arabia and then labelled as ethnic Somalis yet deny Bantus the same status. Do descendants of Arabs automatically qualify as ethnic Somalis than Bantus don't? What proof do you have to suggest ethnic Somalis originated from the north?
