I lie to not get sick. I lie when I call sick. I lie to be off-the-hook. I lie at home, at work and even in my dreams and nightmares. I lie to lovers, family and friends, acquintances and strangers too. There is no day that I don't lie and I am being truthful here! what an irony!

  8. Chinese man ruptures girlfriend's ear with passionate kiss An amorous Chinese man has discovered the perils of excessive ardour after kissing his girlfriend so passionately that she ruptured her eardrum. Last Updated: 10:41AM GMT 08 Dec 2008 The 20-something woman from the city of Zhuhai, in Guangdong province of southern China, is reported to have partially lost her hearing as a result of her paramour's embrace. According to the China Daily, the accident happened because the man sucked too hard during the kiss. "The inner ear is connected to the mouth through a tube, whose chief function is to equalize the pressure between the two," said Li, a doctor at Zhuhai Second People's Hospital quoted by the China Daily. "The kiss reduced pressure in the mouth, pulled the eardrum out and caused the breakdown of the ear," he said. However, there was some good news for the unlucky couple: her hearing is expected to return to normal after about two months. Taking no chances, the paper warned its readers to practice safe sex: "While kissing is normally very safe, doctors advise people to proceed with caution," it said. Zhuhai, located in the Pearl River delta, is a city of 1.3 million, and is famous for its beautiful local scenery and green parks. It is home to a reconstruction of the Summer Palace destroyed by the British in the 19th century
  9. When she ruled Once upon a time, Somalia had a queen; her name was Arraweelo - Caroweelo – the earth maker. She observed that men were good for nothing except to quarrel and make wars, shed blood and destroy the land. Consequently she started a rebellion and overthrew the male king. She launched a campaign to castrate the men to domesticate them and pacify the land. She instituted matriarchy as genealogical segmentation of society. Every Somali clan was named after their mother. Habar- so-and-so and Bah-so-and-so were the most common clan names.Daughters became royalty automatically and sons were relegated to position of servitude. All revered saints were women and there is said to have been two such prominent female priestesses, Abba Mudda and Caddey Barrey Jeelo. Subjects recited prayers and songs to venerate the high priestess. (Refer to Kuunkuun Cadeey Bareey Jeelo). Men under Queen Arraweelo’s reign were obedient and peaceful eunuchs who worked tirelessly to build mud castles and mud containers hence, a manifestation of the queen’s moniker. One particular woman was responsible for keeping men in order. She led the intelligence and security agencies of the queendom. She used to eavesdrop to all the conversations of the men and knew their whereabouts. They called her Dhagdheer or the long-ears and related her to having airborne powers to be everywhere. Men were kept in check. Back then women were the leaders and the land was peaceful and prosperous. The Catastrophe Two men, Queen Arraweelo’s lover, Oday Biiqey (the scared elder) and her grandson Beerlaawe ( the gutless) were spared of the castration practice for two reasons: the queen’s daughter Beerlula ( lilly-liver) begged her mother to spare her only male son from the castration. Odey Biiqey, was spared because he was the queen’s lover and confidant at the time of her rebellion. That womanly empathy for the two men was the beginning of irreversible catastrophe. The spared chaps rebelled and plotted to overthrow the queen. The grandson sneakily killed the queen while she was bathing. The queen just had an intimate night with Odey Biiqey. Odey Biiqey was still in the bed as the unforgiving grandson murdered his grandmother. Soon the wicked two abolished the castration of men. Men became the leaders and women were subjected to genital mutilation and forced to work. The men abolished the matriarchy institution and the family tree was changed from the mother’s lineage to the patriarchic ancestry. The songs and prayers to the womanly saints and mystics became child plays and sing-a-longs. Dhagdeer became a witch and a cannibal who lived in caves. Men reverted to their old ways of fighting. They destroyed all the mud castles and scorched the vegetation and the whole land. A life of non-sedentary nomadic pursued. Up to now, Somalis are said to be unable to recover from that disastrous of men overtake of power and rule. Despite their fall, Somali women still are the backbone of the society and do all the work. They also bear all the brunt of the fighting men initiate. So until another Arraweelo comes along to tame and keep the men in check, Somalia or the land where the Somalis live would not know peace. After note: Just two days. A Somali female doctor won the women of 2008 in Rome for helping the poor and the sick in Somalia. Same day another Somali lady won for the alternative Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo for advocating that women get their share of power.

  15. I am just reiterating what I heard from the rumor mill. I did no generalization. The snitches are - as I have been told ....pro-yeey and you are right this is a very bad for all of us and I shouldn't have bluntly perpetuated such ignorance - my bad!. If I offended people by pointing out the allegations and what I have been told - I didn't mean to insult any group or to do sweeping generalizations. Maybe I could have used better wording but the allegations sometimes shed light to what is going on there in our Qabiil obsessed community. aren't we are allowed to discuss such issues? - political incorrectness is a bliss sometimes - I lived in MPLS for sometime and i used to hear tons of rumors but since I am in California I can only recount it here and repeat what I hear from my sources in Minneapolis. And Omar Jamal is the one everyone is pointing fingers to and he is said to be the legal advisor of yeey despite his lack of any authority and qualifications of legal matters - some even refer to him as Avvocato Jamal.
  16. political coup is better than bloody one! It'all about who among the traitors and warlords can be the best stooge for the Ethios!
  17. For OG_girl no y in Aqalkeena For Lucky – Gaaban has long vowels – not short – same for OG_Girl – again soo has long vowels – two Os not one. Ngonge you are worse than the above two – maybe you should have kept your sentence short and simple as was asked. You got nin, taagan and maaha (which even is problematic maaha is colloquial and not written – written version is ma aha. You wrote “ nin fadheya eyo nin taagan, eskomid maaha! “ Correct spelling: Nin fadhiya iyo nin taagan isku mid ma aha rest of corrections CaanoGeel corrected digaag. I don't have time to sift through and spot the misspelling for all comments.
  18. I heard the alleged suicide bomber is related to the Somali TFG president - and that a lot of people within Yeey's sub-clan who are divided on the Somali conflict in general are perpetuating this awful incident. Some are Yeey supporters and others are not... so the Somali saga of Qabyaalad is being played in the minnihopeless theatre and thanks to the media's obsession and people with agendas - it is now - Riwaayaddii aduunka. How many rightwing bloggers are blogging this - countless! to incriminate and diss Somalis with racial insults. How many neo-fascist Islamophobes are dissing our religion because of this? countless? How many are calling for the total deportation of the Somali Minnesotans to their hell-hole? countless? Well there are repercussions for things but Somalis see only Qabiil and wear clan lenses! the snitches did the damage already! The rumors within the Somalis in the twin cities is that this whole thing is blown out of proportion by clan/sub-clan animosities that is rooted in the Somali culture. Even mosque congregations are said to have clan lines and affiliations. But I can say that Masjid Abu-Bakr Bin Sadiq is an exception and we Somalis should pride ourselves for its establishment. Imam Sheikh Abdirahman Sheikh Omar is a very respected spiritual leader and intellectual. His clam demeanor and approachable modest is an indication of his neutrality and modernity. Those who are trying to link him to this silly "witch-hunt" are deluding themselves. He is not a recruiter and doesn't even subscribe to the extremist of some.
  19. Amxaaro used some Somalis to counter the Darwiish struggle led by Sayid Mohammed(AUN - my hero). It's documented - do the research bro. Even at the birth of the nation in the 60s, there were some soldiers in the rank of the military who defected to Ethiopia with - Daf iyo Miriq - vehicles - that too is documented. They also used Somalis in the occupied Ogadden territories to subjugate their brothers. As far as Dictator Barre is concerned - I would respect the dead for now.
  20. Actually I was reading some Somali article that detailed how Ethiopians through history used, abused and misused Somali stooges like two-cent whores. The fault is with the Somalis and their clannish loyalty. There is no record of a Somali being the master player. Somali petty politicians, clan bozos and warlords prostituted themselves to Ethiopia to dominate their Somali clan rival for short term. A Somali poet said - Axdi ma leh Amxaar lagu aaminaa - nin abeeso koriyoow adigaa u aayi- Whoever is the pawn be they the fiefdom leaders or TFG warlords, they are just pawns and traitors - nothing else. They will be used and misused as it is the norm. Yeey, Nur Adde are in the same dilemma... oggi a te.... for being the darling wife of Meles - domani a me ....for being the new wife!
  21. Duke - ninyahow ma xishootid miyaa? if I were you I would have shut up both in English and Somali and reflect.
  22. WWAD? What would Aweys DO? or Say? how will Yeey react? Keep it up? This is a good play - I was visualizing the real Riyaawad being played -
