  1. Yeah...you are not idealistic and I am a brother. So let me see, can I do anything? I don't think so cos of my not gonna be there and loving myself. Who could do something? guess what? the kids in the gangs are hardened and everyone is scared of them. They don't blink, hesitate or second guess..they are worse than Sarah Palin ...you will be their moose...jokes aside... I am serious I am so scared of them and everyone I know. and I met them and seen their guns and hang out with a wounded gangbanger around ceder/riverside...24 and Karmel.I had 4 kids each with a gun in my company one time. I get so confused ...didn't know who was in what rival gang but learned my lesson and as things were getting out of hand, i just decided that it was too risky and a life and death thing. And the kids i was trying to mentor or positively influence are not even the hardcore ones...the hardcore ones would roast alive as I heard...So what could we do? I braved one time and gambled .... this needs some people who are willing to sacrifice all the way and wouldn't chicken out like me...it needs someone who is willing to understand these kids and their plight...someone who plays cool and could relate to them....and I see none of the pretenders and so-called idealists capable of this...it is a front line warfare ...it is just scary it .if you talk about ....it is just talk....and these kids thrive on people talking about how tough and dangerous they are.
  2. Defeated is better...we are being killed and shot ...our people dying everywhere , here and in africa...I see no solution coming soon. It is hopeless. Even worse people are clueless, unprepared or ill-equipped to even come up with ways to address this. I was in 5 meetings held in Bryan Cole after the killings and it was the same - nothing new, no one thinking out of box..just a group of grieving mothers, few elders, few younger brothers and sisters and the same nonsense, guys who talk and talk and blame the police and then ask few city or county officials for intervention (handouts) ...
  3. I can tell what is going in your city Ayaanick. There are many crazy kids with guns, crazy men with guns and bad parents, broken families, uneducated masses, fake imams, opportunistic community guys, absentee fathers, desperation at home, abuses at home, divorcees everywhere, single parents (mostly mother with 6 to 7 kids), too much drugs, partying, hangouts, public housing, unemployment, lack of recreations, you name it and above all clan hype and rumors. punks who won't come forward to name names, deporting and hiding killers....you know how it is.
  4. Minneapolis: Somali Gang Violence out of Control Labels: Minneapolis, Somalis Tuesday September 30, 2008 Here in Minneapolis, today as we celebrate Eid with our families and friends, a Somali mother is in tears and in pain for the loss of her only son. He was 19. He came for a hair cut to get ready for the Eid festivities. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. His life was cut short by a bullet probably from another Somali teenager. Just a week ago, a Somali family buried their 20 year old son, a third year college student, who was shot in front of community center where he was volunteering to tutor and mentor younger kids. Three months before that, in the same place of the community center, slain was a 31 year old youth mentor and basketball coach. Two months before that, 18 years old high school graduate was killed in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. These brothers were killed by other brothers in what now can be only termed as an all-blown-out senseless gang violence within the Somali community. So far one juvenile suspect, 16 years old, is held for the killing of the murdered college student. These were the ones killed so far in this year. Just by the end of last year, two other twenty-something youth were gunned down in South Minneapolis. There are few others who were injured who luckily didn’t die. This morning, a Somali mother I talked to, who lives in the South Minneapolis neighborhood where the gang violence is concentrated, is worried for her two teenage boys and is now contemplating maybe sending the boys to relatives in Arizona. "I am scared to lose my boys" she confides me and continues that her boys hang around the neighborhoods and Somali shopping strips. "They could end being shot." She cries. She is not alone. Other parents have the same concerns. Everywhere you go today and anyone you talk to, after the Eid congratulations exchange, the talk and the conversation is about these Somalis teenage boys shooting each other and what is going to happen next, who would be shot and when. Somali teenage boys are going crazy and most have guns with them. Random shootings have became the only way they settle score. They have formed their own gang families and promise more violence to come. The community in whole is in tense and suspense mood. People are worried that this would get out of control. The police are pleading with people who witnessed or know the perpetrators of these shootings to come forward and help them to bring the criminal murderers to justice. No one seems to know how to prevent more shootings to happen. There are some who are trying to come up with solutions and among them is newly formed Somali college student organization called the Youth against Violence Committee. The root causes of the Somali gang violence within the Twin Cities Somali community are hard to pinpoint and is complex to decipher. It is not isolated to Somalis in Minneapolis. Same thing is happening in other Somali Diaspora communities to lesser degrees compared to one in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Once a while, one hears or reads news about Somali teenage or young man gunned down in places like Seattle, Toronto and London, UK Other immigrant and refugee communities have either gone or going through this problem of gang violence. Somali Community in the Twin Cities is now challenged more than ever to find ways to deal with this gang violence phenomenon. A whole community plan to deal and address this gang violence among Somali youth is needed. Somali parents, families, community leaders, college students all have to come together, stop the blame and escape-goat game and act. A concerted effort is needed from everyone, especially families and community activists to mentor these lost and violent kids so that we can prevent the senseless killing of our youngsters and the grieving of Somali mothers. There are some known solutions to reduce the gang violence and make sure that more youngsters resist joining gang groups. Somali parents should take more responsibility and stop complaining about the culture shock they face in America. They need to learn about raising kids who have different way of life and mindset. They also need to remember that it is not the teenage boys who choose to be here on the first place. The parents came here to run away from violence in Somalia and brought their boys with them to spare them from the violent Somali civil war. Having cultural and language barriers is no excuse of being involved in your kids life, of knowing who they hang with and of having family time and involvement. Finally, the more the community as whole let this deadly Somali gang violence go on in our neighborhoods, community centers, shops, schools, the more things would get out of control and the more many of our younger kids would be shot. 6. unknown i have a feeling you are a double agent with some agenda!
  7. what they did in 2006 went all into ashes..they were drunk with power and couldn't think of world geopolitical realities ...they had no common sense, no vision, no counsel, nothing ..they were just what Somalis call fuleeyoow guuli kuu dhoweeydaa! man i supported them with some reservation..I don't want to see wadaad and warlord no more in any position of leadership...period!
  8. Shabaab are no Shiiks, Shariifs are no saviors ...same old same silly stuff recycled and guess what? no UN is coming to help you, they kill you, finance your killers and label you terrorist and you give them the chance to do that by associating with Bin-laden who is Bush's associate ...they are all into this and they will wipe you and then after you and your whole people are done ..they will take the land and its resources..just like Darfur and other places in Africa ..they don't care if monkey murder each other ...Rwanda ..they watched million black Tutsis wiped and massacred in a month? keep on fighting and changing clothes ....most wadaadis are clan-infested even in the masjid they pray along clan lines and I know this cos I am in minneapolis ..I went to one masjid and I was asked if I was lost and why I didn't go to the masjid my perceived clansmen pray..so don't tell me wadaadis are immune to this AND DON'T CARE ABOUT CLANS!
  9. to hell with wadaad! what does wadaad knows how to run a nation in this modern times? wadaad who will kill you watching a soccer game is no wadaad ..that is one sick and ignorant primitive bozo ..i could have used more profane terms but they got censorship here .... wadaad and warlord are the same now ..they all in the same boat of death and that boat already sank!! Sadly ...
  10. who cares if MP Maye dies or not? how many Mayes died before, how many Myoows died and still die , how many maryans died, how many mama's died? how many innocent Somalis die daily? how many munas die ? how many maskiin and muluq de si macno darro die daily and you cry for one who is happy to be MP and collect UNDP money for Qat chewing and political pimping to warlords? that makes me sick to the stomach ... Millions of innocent Somalis died by the hands of warlords, the evil TFG, Yeey, Shabaab, Shaytaan, Tigre? Mohammed Dheere? Qaybdiid, Darwiish, Morgan? what is the difference, one MOFO happy to collect UNDP welfare and handout for Qat chewing was smoked by another MOFO happy with UNDP handout? You know what? the death of Somali MP is good ..it is like one lesser evil, lesser traitor, let them all Ethiopia-supporters, Qat chewing, ignorant and unlettered MPS and Mofos in Somalia die off ( die one after another until no MPs are left) and may I add let all the fanatic charlatans, wadaad-come-latter-day saints, Qaida sympathizers, also die off( and end in hell just like their warlord friends) Somalia will not have peace and its people will not know peace until we still talking like this just let's hope that God sends a miraculous saviors, heroes and heroines ...so far all we have known are warlords, evil men, crazy fanatics, destroyers, cheerleaders, dukes and dukettes... and let us hope against hope all evil men and their followers and cheerleaders including some here in SOL perish from the face of earth... let us hope against hope that all this extremism, death, misery, ignorance, tribalism die with the old farts and old-farts followers and cheerleaders including some here in SOL. Wishing death on all these so-called Somali leaders and their cheerleaders is justified and ok. It doesn't even matter, you know what I mean? I won't shed no tears at all if all evil MPs in Baidao, warlords in every corner of somalia and from every clan, including warlords, wadaado, fanatics, cheerleaders, dukes and dukettes, clannish bozos are smoked, assassinated, or if the whole ADC warehouse, Villa Somalia...Somali clan websites, fadhikudirir venues burn cos in these places you have evil-men and evil men-followers (dukes and duketees) who brought, perpetuate death and destruction to millions of innocent children and mothers. Let them die out one after one ... for real. And I would advise all these conscious brothers and sisters to retreat or take break arguing with cheer-leading fools cos it is lost case and won't do anything .. it's like putting lipstick on pig ... to borrow from McCain and Obama ,,,as they said ...they are still the same pigs ..doofaro.. dayuusiin, eeyo aan soo daahiriin ...ignorant warlords, clan bashing, hate mongering, grievance-ridden, sick mofos!!...Sorry...Somali makes me insane and sick everyday..it is the same shitty stuff ...no sense at all...no thinking for out of the box...caught in the spiral of misery, backwardness, hate and ignorance ... it is hopeless walaahi!
  11. Somali is close to Somari which means Assess or donkeys in Italian - Somaro is dumb person ...in italiano and since I grew up there ...I subliminally think when I say Somali ..I am calling us donkeys which rhymes with monkeys and thus ends like sounding we monkeys!...hey easy brothers ..i am just pulling your legs!
  12. I do know but this is how it is ... when you dealing with realities and every day folks ... Somalians are everywhere nowadays ... even in COPS ...the FOX TV program!
  13. They were actually Somalilanders Jaceyl! Somalilanders are Somalians right?
  14. Are you Somali? NO!...I am Russian....a black Russian! Cool, I didn’t know they had brothers in Russia! Yes they do… the United Soviet Socialist Republics of Russia…just like the United States of America has African-Soviets who were brought to the caucuses by the Caucasians. For real? Yeah… you know we black Russians coined the word …Caucasian ...when crackers were calling you niggers back then in slavery days …we were free because Lenin and Marx were tight with brothers like Ghandi, Castro and Kennedy. Word ...that is sick bro… Yea! Look at these Somalians though I know ..they … They like mo ghetto …damn! The above blunt and crazy banter was between a bus boy brother and Somalian self-hating phony guy. The spurious discourse began when a crew of Somalians came in to the country buffet restaurant. The Somalian posse consisted of two ugly and corpulent ladies and eight ill-disciplined and overexcited kids. They were loud and obnoxious and as soon as they stepped in to the counter near the entrance, they caught the attention of the whole patrons inside the buffet place. It was a spectacle to poke fun at and dirty dig. The way Somalians dressed, their lack of mannerism and their earsplitting strange clamor was so impossible that people were just laughing at them. Abdi was the Sole Somalian dude who was there before this embarrassing horde of the uncivilized Somalian ugly and poor refugees came into the buffet joint. He too was shocked at not only the way Somalians behaved but the way they looked and their ugly, unmatching gypsie-like robes. So to deny his Somaliness and not to be associated with these rowdy, primitive Somalians, he had to lie and claim to be part of imaginary black Russians. It was only escape he could think of. He couldn't defend and justify the lack of decorum and incivility Somalians exhibited there. So he rather had to be insanely creative and just BS.
  15. A&T let me address your concern ...you seem to be stretching this far bro...so chill I am only testing so-called artistic expressions and creative adventurism..I hear the whispers from behind though ...that I tease and I am like a lazy hubby...that assertion is duly noted..but bro this is an early preview of upcoming series about things and nothings... just want to taste how pits and pieces of that is received here ...so my dear solers as supporting guinea pigs should at least understand why my BSs aint continually done ... btw ..i got more stuff coming (usually unfinished)
  16. He goes ... ...what I am about to tell you are somewhat perplexing and entirely factual ( if you want, for your own sanity, substitute the factual to fictional) of painful narration of complex episodes in my wretched and inexplicable life.I will begin with the present since the past is long-winded and the future is unclear... An Excerpt It is Ramadan and as an observant and practicing Muslim, I fast from sunrise to sunset and break my fasting usually at the Mosque. At night, I pray, meditate and contemplate; sometimes in the only Mosque in the town and sometimes in my small studio apartment. In the Mosque where I pray the Taraaweeh, the Imam or the prayer leader is a man who is somewhat liable for my present-day anguish. How could that be, you might ask? Well, I would have to tell you about my past but that would force me to fill pages and make you go through a horrible recounting of human cruelty which I want to spare you of its intolerable particulars. So let me just focus on the present and the first time I found out who in reality this Imam with such striking annunciation and beautiful recitation was? And how our raw and unpleasant tête-à-tête contact started with violent brawl and disarray? Day 1: I was on the second row of the congregation and was profoundly drawn in the prayer to the point that I was out of the world to the divine realm: eyes closed, heart heavier with devotion but still able to carefully hearken and pace my pulses and breathing with the rhythmic reading of the Quranic verses recited aloud and eloquently by the prayer leader. As soon as the first two Rakah ended, I opened my eyes to take of glimpse of my surrounding first to make sure that I was physically present in the earthly world and secondly to check out the Imam with such angelic recitation. As soon as my eyes hit on his face, my dormant childhood photographic memory kicked in. A very vile and painful picture, a horrific past that I was struggling to suppress and subdue came in front of me. ( for the graphic nature of that horrible fateful night, I intentionally decided to omit the description of what had transpired there but I was there and witnessed the whole thing )... ...Without any second guessing, I jumped to the first line and violently punched the Imam at the face, knocking him down to the ground. Then as I was planting mechanical hard kicks on his ribs, someone threw me aside to stop me and before I can recover of the abrupt off-balance, there were three to four guys holding me tight and restraining me back from further outburst of violence. I was shouting and screaming my heart out “You killed my ma, you killed my pa, you murderer!” As the poor Imam was trying to recover and regain his composure, I heard him cry ” That was my twin brother, not me!” Day 2: I and the bruised Imam are both in the Mosque but in different corners. It happens that we, the Imam and I, are related by blood and that it was in fact his identical twin brother that ruthlessly killed of my parents for no explainable reason. The murderer, I have been told, had been killed in a fight by other murderers. There is another Imam leading the Taraweeh prayers tonight. continues . . .

  20. is it the beginning of the end or the end of the dying stages of the fictional sojourn? We would indeed miss the clan cheer leading, the copy and the paste!
  21. So I see that Nur Adde was indeed the real Trojan horse that shattered that clan delusion?
  22. Qabshax! waa jabtay? now it's beerjileec time as someone already implied! the Jihad (even in the cyber world) will continue until all warlord criminals are eliminated and Somalia is ruled by decent human beings with no criminal background and and exemplary leaders with no clan mentality! of which we don't have now!
  23. Well, you got me wrong here! I am just asking questions and seeing half-naked or naked Xaliimoos is not even an issue to debate and something to bring into debate to point out the difference here. I studied comparative religion at school. Some Muslim scholars may even say Buddha was a prophet of Islam. it is in the Quran that Allah sent every nation a prophet or messenger of their own who speaks of their tongue. Only 25 or so are mentioned their names and most were from one region doesn't mean other nations and societies didn't get their share of prophets and messengers from their creator. Buddhism is great religion like every other religion but Islam is the true religion and yet Muslims are not that great and true to the principles of their religion which urges them to read, reason and seek knowledge to enjoy and exploit the many bounties Allah blessed them on earth. Sis ...naked and half naked Xaliimos and non=Xaliimos are everywhere and it's not something to desire . - Nudity, modesty are cultural mindset - a western women may not define these the same way as our maryooleey do. So let us not go there. but if you are incensed by my example, let us ask ourselves when we would see Somali gymnastics, or say swimming team both male or female, winning gold medals? or Somalia, Ethiopia, Egypt or Saudi Arabia hosting the Olympics or even bidding to host? when would we Somalis have have the joy and the pride the Chinese are right now experiencing? or the one my American coworkers are cheering for seeing Team USA breaking world records and collecting many Gold, Silver & Bronze medals? just questions, not affronting Islam, Arabs or Africa? or not desiring to see naked xaliimoos? India the second populous nation on earth got their first olympic gold medal- that is a feat but India contributes to the world in other fields of technology, science, trade, skills, culture, philosophy and are trying and they are on the move. Same can be said of Brazil and some South East Asian nations. what is happening in our corner of the world? starvation, famine, violence, curse of oil? lack of leadership? bad governance? backwardness? we destroy and fight? they build and celebrate. I am only questioning why some societies are stuck in backwardness and others are way too advanced? China had a civilization that goes six millennium back. They are poised to be a world power in every aspect in the future and some are even predicting 2020 china's economy could out do that of America if they continue the momentum. Another thing is education. Educated people reason, rationalize, use logic and think of better tomorrow? I am wondering what went wrong in some societies specially ours? we can't even have a decent debate and can't discuss issues without getting into loggerheads, or creating controversies? what happened to lacalakum tafakaruun? we contribute nothing to humanity other than misery and mayhem. we are being pitied for our perpetual suffering , abject poverty and lack of development. Humanitarian organization with athletes, actors and models as their good-will ambassadors appeal to rich and advanced societies to contribute and donate to save the starving in Somalia! I believe we should change everything cos nothing so far worked for us... why not look to developed and progressive societies instead? We should change everything ... and as the Quran says ...Allah will not change the circumstances/.conditions of a people until what is within themselves ??? Change is the underlining motivation here. We need to change everything to catch up and be part of civilization and progress!
  24. Time is up! the nightmare goes on! mission unaccomplished!
