At Pandora, we have a single mission: To play music you'll love - and nothing else. To understand just how we do this, and why we think we do it really, really well, you need to know about the Music Genome Project®. Since we started back in 2000, we have been hard at work on the Music Genome Project. It's the most comprehensive analysis of music ever undertaken. Together our team of fifty musician-analysts has been listening to music, one song at a time, studying and collecting literally hundreds of musical details on every song. It takes 20-30 minutes per song to capture all of the little details that give each recording its magical sound - melody, harmony, instrumentation, rhythm, vocals, lyrics ... and more - close to 400 attributes! We continue this work every day to keep up with the incredible flow of great new music coming from studios, stadiums and garages around the country. With Pandora you can explore this vast trove of music to your heart's content. Just drop the name of one of your favorite songs or artists into Pandora and let the Genome Project go. It will quickly scan its entire world of analyzed music, almost a century of popular recordings - new and old, well known and completely obscure - to find songs with interesting musical similarities to your choice. Then sit back and enjoy as it creates a listening experience full of current and soon-to-be favorite songs for you. You can create as many "stations" as you want. And you can even refine them. If it's not quite right you can tell it so and it will get better for you. The Music Genome Project was founded by musicians and music-lovers. We believe in the value of music and have a profound respect for those who create it. We like all kinds of music, from the most obtuse bebop, to the most tripped-out drum n bass, to the simplest catchy pop tune. Our mission is to help you connect with the music YOU like. We hope you enjoy the experience!

  5. OK, FOUND THIS TO FAKE.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6603853.stm Last Updated: Saturday, 28 April 2007, 17:22 GMT 18:22 UK E-mail this to a friend Printable version Nigeria 'lesbian wedding' denied A picture of Aunty Maiduguri from a leaflet given to guests Enlarge Image A Nigerian woman reported to have "married" four women last weekend in Kano State has denied the allegations. Aunty Maiduguri told the BBC the reports of her wedding were false, and that she was not a lesbian. She had gone to the police and lawyers and would take the case to court in an effort to clear her name, she said. Under Sharia law, adopted in the state seven years ago, homosexuality and same-sex marriages are outlawed and considered very serious offences. Lesbianism is also illegal under Nigeria's national penal code. 'A lie' Aunty Maiduguri insisted she "never practised" lesbianism. "It's a lie, it's unbelievable. I have never in my life seen where a lady can marry four ladies at one time. "I have never practised - never heard the word 'lesbian' - truly," she told the BBC in Kano. She said the elaborate wedding celebration held on Sunday was actually a ceremony to raise money for the women's weddings to men. She said: "One of them gets a husband to marry so I organised in order to get something sorted." The theatre where the ceremony took place has since been demolished by Kano city's authorities. Eyewitnesses said there was a large turnout and guests were given leaflets as a souvenir showing Aunty Maiduguri surrounded by her "brides". But she said the words on the pamphlets meant "love and understanding". "They are my sisters, what will I put apart from love and understanding or love and kindness?" Aunty Maiduguri said she was willing to challenge Kano's Hisbah board, which uses volunteers to enforce Islamic rule. "I am ever ready to fight the director of that Hisbah," she said. Aunty Maiduguri and the four other women went into hiding after religious police issued warrants against them. Punishment All five women are believed to be film actresses in the local home-video industry, and said to be born Muslims, otherwise they would not be covered by Sharia law. Nigeria's parliament is considering tightening its laws on homosexuality. Islam says a man can take up to four wives if he is able to support them. "As defenders of the Sharia laws, we shall not allow this unhealthy development to take root in the state," the Hisbah's deputy commander Ustaz Abubakar Rabo told Nigeria's This Day newspaper. Mr Rabo told the BBC's Focus on Africa programme that if the women were found guilty of lesbianism they faced one of two punishments. For a married woman the offence would be considered adultery for which the punishment is death by stoning. A single woman would be caned. A Kano police spokesman told the BBC that his officers were not actively looking for the women, but would arrest them if need be.
  6. that is so sad, big ups to olol studio for bringing to light a dark and growing issue in the somali community, we need to speak openly about these issues.
  7. got this off of the huffingtonpost website: fox news quoting a parody news like(the onion) as an actual news story and making fun of some innocent somalis out in lewiston maine?. so here are the ignorant imbeciles at fox and freinds making a fool of themselves.! ******! //////////////////// On Tuesday, Fox News morning show “Fox & Friends” aired at least eight segments on a purported “news” story that was actually a parody article written by a publication similar to The Onion. The backstory: Last week in the town of Lewiston, Maine, a group of Somalian Muslim middle school students were the subject of a cruel prank when their peers placed a ham steak next to them in order to personally offend the students. School officials filed a report because the students considered the act to be a hate/bias crime. This actual story was then spoofed by a parody site called Associated Content, which made up quotes and details, such as the school’s intention to “create an anti-ham ‘response plan.’” On Tuesday, Fox & Friends reported these parody quotes and details as actual news. Poking fun at the students, hosts asked whether ham was “a hate crime…or lunch?” and showed screen shots of ham sandwiches, starving Somalians, belching, animal noises, and mock “reenactments” of the incident. Ironically, the hosts assured viewers several times, “We’re not making this up!” Watch a compilation: http://thinkprogress.org/2007/04/27/fox-parody/

Enkla ”hål i väggen” blir riktiga restauranger. Affärerna går bra: ”There’s opportunity here.” 18. lol there should really be more love out there for single moms.. just not coming from my atmosphere! too much pressure. Found this Somewhere and thought it was cooll -------------- "I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!" So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?" Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier." I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it." Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled WHAT?" I then said "honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?" Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either....but at least that ***** knows I'm smarter than her."
  19. now i didn't write this! although some of you might get offended!(dull ppl) it has it's hillarious parts.. and if you thought 13 was an unlucky number: consider this your lucky number from now on> no mercy: ----------------------------------- 1) Baby Damage - Birth has a traumatic effect on the female form. Pregnancy leaves stretch marks, saggy breasts, and c-section scars. I've also heard that the nookie is even stretch out and it isn't the same anymore. Then there's the weight gain. Most women NEVER LOSE IT or they never get their former hot shape back. 2) "I Can't Find A Baby Sitter" - Women will use this as an excuse to get out of date with you or they may legitmately can't find a baby sitter. Either case it isn't your problem and you shouldn't have to deal with it. 3) Babies Interrupt Sex - I've had this happen to me. I was banging a woman and her kid interrupted my sex. Needless to say I was pissed. If some kid is going to interrupt the meanest head you've ever gotten, that kid should have your last name. 4) Baby's Daddy - When your dealing with a woman and your getting know her, you shouldn't have to deal with kid's father. Some guys can't get over the fact that their ex has moved on. Before he was an un-attentive jerk and didn't give a jolly goddamn about her. Now that you've entered into the picture, the dude wants to be the ideal boyfriend and a "father of the year," nominee." The guy stars stalking her and wants to fight you. Even if the woman and guy are on good terms, the guy feels as if he can always smash. He knows her. He knows what she wants to hear and what makes her happy. The next know you your having this conversation- "I've decided to try and make it work with Jimmy's dad". Best way to avoid the situation is to avoid single moms. 5) Rent-A-Daddy - Realizing her mistake, realizing that kids (especially boys need fathers,) The woman gets desperate, any and every guy has the potential to be "daddy." You're out trying to get some, not inheirit a family. 6) The Kids Are Still Up - This is only a problem if your trying to pursue something other than a booty call. Wanting to spend time with you, but not wanting to bring strange men around her kids, you find yourself only seeing this female after 10 or 11PM. You want to move forward, but she has to make sure your the "one." This could take months. I suggest dealing with women that are readily available to hang out. 7) Double Heart Break - You are with the woman, then everything falls apart. You not only do you have to deal with losing the woman, but you've formed a bond with lil' Jimmy. You and Jimmy play HALO together, watch the Wizards' hoop it up, go to the zoo, and things dads do with sons or daughters. On top of maybe missing the woman, you miss the kid. 8) Your Not My Dad. - You hook up with the woman, eventually the issue of discipline is going to come up. Some kids being resentful or just being a bratty prick is going to eventuallly pull the "YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!! YOUR NOT MY DAD!!!" card. Personally if I did date single mothers and some dumba$$ kid pulled that stunt on me, I would say, "Your right. I'm not your father. Since I have no authority over you and you refuse to listen to me, you need to pack your sh*t and go live with your dad." This would be a deal breaker for me. In addition some mothers or the dad would have problem with you disciplining their kid. I'm sorry, if some kid broke my laptop, I'm whooping his a$$. 9) You Know What She Going To Do - She already has one kid, if you knock her up, it's safe to assume she's going to have another one. 10) Bad Judge of Character - This female got knocked up by somebody that she was "supposely in love with." Not only is she a bad judge of character, she's GROSSLY irresponsible. The same guy that's an a$$hole now, is the same guy she thought the world of and had unprotected sex with. 11) Unneccessary Expeditures - Eventually you'll get to meet the kid(s.) Soon those dates turn into family outings. Instead of paying for two people, your paying for three or more. The same goes if you move in with her. 12) You'll Never Be #1 - When your trying to build a relationship with somebody, you should be the focus of the woman's life. It should be about you and her. If she has a kid, you'll NEVER BE #1!!! That's not a bad thing either, but it's something I don't want to deal with. Neither should you. 13) Tag, Your It! - This should be the BIGGEST deterrent to EVER dealing with a single mother. In some jurisdictions, I think California is one of them, if you start dealing with a female with kids, move in with her and things go south. THE FEMALE CAN SUE YOU FOR CHILD SUPPORT!!!! She can claim that the her and child have "become a customed to you supporting the child." YOU COULD END UP POSSIBILY PAYING CHILD SUPPORT FOR A KID THAT ISN'T EVEN YOURS! Imagine being extorted money because you were doing what you thought was the "right thing." The state doesn't give a rat's a$$ about the relationship being over or you being a "good guy." They just don't want the chick on welfare. So as far as your concerned, it's "TAG, YOUR IT!"
  20. just voted dude.. best of luck on kare 11.. do some sambuza's i'll prolly tape it and put it on youtube
