  1. LoL....now THAT is entertainment on a boring Tube journey. Bet everyone was tickled!
  2. She's Cherie Blair's sister! So, that's where the fuss is coming from. The name had no significance for me when I linked the article.
  3. Morning peeps. Well, it's afternoon now. Is there another strike, Malika? They come around often these days, don't they? Norf, I don't know. Maybe everyone will come up for air and have a nice conversation in the general section, talk about their day and their peeves. Or maybe one of the other forums will be hijacked. Jacaylbaro;762202 wrote: If I know Alpha, he has a meeting with someone (what he calls a Date) Tii hii Urm..sorry Alpha. Have fun and take Juxa's advice.
  4. Yes, that's a good lesson. Afternoon and evening ku dar iyagana. If you remember abaarahaa your era must have been the early 70s, Sayid.
  5. LoL....I recall no such thing anigu. Maybe your shukaansi was terrible!
  6. JB, sometimes you are so clever people completely miss your meaning.
  7. Waa sidaa, Sayid. How is Qardho holding up? We haven't heard much about it lately. Malika, lol, isn't it funny how everyone points the finger at parents these days? Wax walba oo khaldama dhabtaa loo saraa and rightly so sometimes.
  8. Wasalaam juxa, how are you doing? An article about a journalist's conversion to Islam. Makes you feel all warm.
  9. I know, what a poor child. He seems to be used to his mothers rants. If she's like this in public what must she be like in private? Carruur badan ayaa dhibaato haysataa. Carafaat, the UK cag ayey aduunkoo dhan soo marisay oo macdantooda iyo khayraadkoodaba soo bililaqaysatay. Well, waa laga daba yimid meelna looga ma socdo.
  10. Isn't there? I try to use fresh spices as much as I can, it's difficult to know how processed the powdered varieties are. But I miss London with its multitude of specialist shops. I know it's very easy to become addicted to buying supplements. I use to and then they would stay in the cupboard until I gave them away or chucked them. I currently only take iron and Vitamin C and not very consistently. What is it about Somalis and Anaemia? The trailers, I don't mind if a few hitched up to my Mini! We would go caravanning and happily!
  11. LoL @ Trailer. That's one heavy object to drag around! Aw, are you taking any supplements? Maybe you need to give your immune system a boost. My cousin, bless her, recently told me about the amazing health benefits of fresh tumeric (not the powdered huruud we use for beauty but the actual root). It resembles the ginger root and it's potent. It's sold at ethnic superstores and mini markets. You should check it out.
  12. Morning gabdho (and others). Juxa, Vietnam, Namibia, Tanzania, Brazil xitaa.....I'm craving warmth. My feet are really itchy maalmahan unfortunately I can't just pack-up and go. Ball and chain, how heavy you are!
  13. Fantastic! TBH all that is needed is peace and then everyone will happily fend for themselves.
  14. Ha ha...what a bunch of comedians. Ah, we might have an inkling where Saalax's qadhaadh is coming from. It must be the fact that the majority of these glorified followers have refused to follow his beloved entity. This might be the appropriate place to say 'Ha kugu taagnaato'! BTW, NG and Abtigiis, a mild rebuke ayaad ku soo boodeen. I'll have you know my angry/militant days are well behind me. These days I'm only ever passionate about biscuits and TV.
  15. Ibti wey soo dhawaatay. Vote for her, if you haven't yet (might as well get on board the winning campaign)! But I think Che on purpose ayuu u boqon-jaray Nuune....he knew keeping the poll open unti mid-December would do the job!
  16. ^^ So how long was it off the air then?
  17. Well, she didn't claim to be ethnically English, did she? She claimed to be British, and if she has been naturalised, she definitely is. It's a nationality after all. She's Black British. PS: We are A-OK as long as kurdado iyo masks cad cad na loo soo xidhan and a burning crossna lasoo qaadan.
  18. LoL @ Che, you panicked miyaa? Imagine if SOL went pufttt, what would we all do? Bunch of freeloading maryooley. Maybe it's time we reached into our pockets.
  19. There's always something kicking off on those Trams. Dadka raaca waxaa la moodaa in a mental institution laga soo daayey. I had to giggle at the guy behind the ranting woman...mar buu is qaban kari waayey and everyone tried to stop him. Pure class. But she's right, she might not like it but London is a truly international city, there are very few ethnicities or nationalities that aren't present. She should be happy though that the majority of English, Scottish and Welsh villages and towns are all-white affairs.
  20. Maths and negotiating lessons are due markaas. Way u dhacday Ophir Energy.
  21. LoL....Well, go ahead and give him what you got, Mr Oodweyne. I promise not to return to this thread until it's all over. Saalax, you know very little about history.
  22. LoL @ Nuune a teen in 65. I would believe it if I heard 47! Well in that case the 90s was the decade. Never was a fan of Byker Grove, I prefered The Tomorrow's People, I remember I used to try to get home as fast as possible to catch it. Being a nerd, I spent evenings and weekends reading or doing my art projects. Only started to enjoy myself in the 00s - now THAT's my true decade. Ruwaayado, University and boy headaches! Good years. BTW, Ibti and I might have been born in the same decade but I have a good few years on her! I think she's more Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
  23. LoL...he's a funny bloke. Nice message too.
  24. So is that a private jet that Qatar sent for the PM? LoL...what a photo opportunity. Bet they were giddily running around before they started posing like serious men at work.
