    What to do?

"The Days of Narniah's Life" - Episode 2 I'm dying in anticipation for episode 3, there are many answers yet to be resolved. OMG!
  2. I think its based on the amount of news articles a person posts, which draws in search-engine spiders and non-SOL members. Somalina is a good example, she updated the forum with a lot of articles and had the most popular topics on SOL, which is why her visitor count is still higher than all of the posters in this topic combined, and this many months after her unfortunate banning.
  3. Nostalgia usually happens in a period of stagnation, regression or alieniation, be it a new environment or losing touch with yourself. That's when your start reconstructing the past and begin romanticising it because of your current situation. A person living in the moment, comfortable in his skin and environment has no time to think about past memories, and when they do surface, they are quickly supressed by present day experiences that will one day become 'nostalgic' memories when you reach that point in your life where you have to look back for joy.. This doesn't mean all memories come as a result of the above. Small things like a scent, a clothing style, a film or an old friend transport me back to the past, and these are usually good memories which were genuinely nice "at the time" and not invented by my subconcious. There is no doubt that if I were to watch those said memories unfold from a distance I would feel the exact same way as I do now. One thing I do have to note is the "after-effect" that comes with recollecting that special moment, which naturally will be more wonderful, because you had years to process that particular experience. We remember the weather, the unaged family and friends, the musical interests, the cultural era (i.e 80s/90s) the personal aspirations, etc. Its all sandwhiched into one after-effect, evendo at the time you didn't comprehend all that I mentioned, because it was the life you were living, instead of recollecting. Only when its gone, do you realise what you had, be it family, friends, youth or...........a country. Basically it can be both real or a construct, depending on the individual.

If she was blue's then I'd have no complaints. The other alternative I didn't want to think about : That was below the belt and above it at the same time War maxaad ka hadlaysa, niyow? Haatu the Young, this was your cue to slay the Chimera in the defense of your princess Narniah as I entangled her with my beastly tentacles and attempted to devour her into oblivion and absorb her character as mine. What you did is tantamount to the young man in the fable of the Princess and the Dragon finding the damsel in distress and instead of rescuing her, he binds her to the pole with extra rope lol. I had a thought kulaha, Narniah and me are oil and water sxb, don't be an Alpha Dummy. Quickly redeem yourself by character assassinating me, poetry will not be enough.
  7. No, I can't do this to a bright young Somali brother like Haatu. I'm sorry little brother, but Narniah is a creation of me, I thought her up while watching Mean Girls, and was inspired by the angry manipulating blonde. These pheramones that drew you in were stolen from a bottle off Ibtisam's finest perfume, no man can resist that. Once again, I'm sorry, but cool poem though!
  8. Winter is the season of running noses, crying eyes, chapped lips, weird tasting lipscreen and friends' hospitality. I don't like being too long in the cold, so lol at outdoor activities, its Playstation 3, or film marathons and games like monopoly and D&D when the girlfriends, fiancees and wives decide to join us. @Odaysomali, I have a terrible memory involving "schaatsen" on a big river. I was 6/7 years old and one time I fell so hard on the back of my head, my entire lineage of forefathers scattered in Somalia and East Africa probably felt it too in their tombs and necropolises. I bicycled the whole way home crying while still wearing ice-skates. It was the last time I went back to that river, which pissed off my mother because I had whined to her for these skates a whole month and they were quite expensive lol, something like 50 gulden.
  9. - Purchase a non-sulphate shampoo. - Eat majority of the week a high protein diet. - Take a multivitamin, hair loss could be the result of a lack of Iron or vitamin D. - Two tablespoons of olive oil and a avacado a day. These contain healthy fats that prevent testosterone from being converted into estrogen i.e DHT, which is a gel like substance that will embed under your scalp and block the follicles. There are several more options you can take to prevent hairloss and initiate hair regrowth. 1) - Regaine, a 12 month package will set you pack around a hundred dollars. 2) - Nourkrin, is packed with ingredients stimulating hair growth and healthy follicles. 3) - Propecia, scientifically proven to result in hair regrowth. You will need a doctor's prescription. 4) - Hair-transplant. A new method known as FUE is painless and leaves no scar. Many clinics will offer affordable plans if you have a steady job. However before all this make sure you take a blood test first to pick up on any potential vitamin deficiency, and inform your doctor about conditions anyone in your family might have, such as a overactive thyroid gland. This alone could reverse the hairloss by addressing the situation at the roots (no pun). I know Somali brothers in similar situations as you, and they have regained the thickness of their hair through the above methods. Don't just just accept it, because there is nothing to gain from that. The first bald spot I spot is "DEFCON 1" for me and I would use all my resources to maintain my hair.
  10. Its exhilarating, who needs women when you have Boeings and Airbuses in the world? Seriously though could you embed the video, I can't seem to for some reason.

  13. - Mogadishu will experience a major construction boom in the form of highrises, appartments and resorts. Majority of its roads will be beautifully paved and many landmarks such as the parliament, theatre, heritage sites and beachfront will be reconstructed and operational. - The arms embargo will be lifted, and the Somali Armed Forces will be revived in earnest with the assistance of Turkey. A lean army equipped with modern tanks, jets and naval assets. - Somali Airlines will be flying the world skies again as the national carrier. Privately owned by a Somali-Turkish consortium the initial fleet will be five planes. - A dozen major oil companies will win various rights to explore the country on a level we haven't seen before. - Aden Adde International Airport will host 2 million passengers in 2013, and rise in the ranks of Africa's busiest airports. - China will return to Somalia and bolster the capacity of the Federal Government with low-interest loans, and large scale construction. - The embassies of at least 20 countries will move from Nairobi to Mogadishu. The Turks, Iranians, Chinese, British and Americans will all establish huge embassy complexes. - Ahmed Madoobe willl be demoted as a result of illegal charchoal exports. The Raskamboni militia will be absorbed by the national army. Kenya's forces will be replaced and forced to withdraw both by the Somali government, and domestic issues such as a potential powderkeg election. Jubbaland will become a reality, but a state firmly answering to the highest sovereign entity in the country i.e the federal government. - Piracy will reach an historic low and might disappear outright with the presence of a new Somali Navy. - Somalia will experience a massive agricultural bumper harvest as supply and demand routes/systems are re-established. - Hargeisa and the Federal Government will fall out as a result of the situation involving the Khatuumo State. The Foreign minister becomes part of a mediation team to reconcile. - Al-Shabaab becomes a nuisance in Puntland after being redeployed by their real masters to thwart and slow down the pioneering oil-adventure which has made a super big impact on how the business world sees Somalia today. - Hundreds of thousands of Somalis around the world will return to the country as highly motivated skilled individuals, and to reclaim/purchase property in the booming capital.
  14. ^I certainly do. Ladies, please share with us Alpha's prepackaged PM, I need a good laugh.
  15. I knew it, Mr 2 right hands & 10 left fingers! (Creative trap lol)

De buurt en dorp waar we woonden had een "New Urbanism" ontwerp en ik denk dat vooral dat het een prettige plaats om te wonen maakte. Maar de Britten zijn meer gezellig denk ik, en ook meer 'open-minded'. Which is sad because around 10-15 years ago the Dutch were even more openminded and welcoming than any other place in Europe . I think the immigrants played a big role in that change, because the immigrant communities in the UK are very British, while I remember in my youth the disdain for anything Dutch coming from the Turks, Moroccans and yes, Somalis. Mix that with the Islamophobia and you have recipe for xenophobia and the rise of right wing nutcases.
  17. 5, never heard of the country "Obscure Euro", but I'll bet its located somewhere in Vikingland. Don't worry about potential stalkers, they have taken possession of Alpha Blondy's passport at the Hargeisa airport, he's not going anywhere.
  18. I'm guided by principles which can be boosted or heavily challenged by both logic and emotion. This is some next level talk, very confusing. I can't really pin-point a situation where I used my instinct, the only thing I feel in my gut on a cyclical basis is GAAJO! In-fact does instinct even exist? Is it just a glorified emotion or a recurring pattern of logical thinking?
  19. In Amersfoort. Je zag zeker weining Somaliers in Brabant?

You have two right hands with ten left fingers lol, you couldn't pull of a simple soup even if your life depended upon it.
  21. I cook food that isn't very presentable but super delicious. First time I cooked something on my own almost a decade ago the IAEA knocked down my door and took away my galactic suuqo, because they were afraid I would sell it to Iran to power their nuclear stations. I remember I put garlic, onions, ketchup, tuna, olives, some crazy Indian spices, pepper and mixed it all up in tomato sauce lol
  22. LOL@ Ibti and Blessed, I gave our resident Dr Jackel & Hyde permission to have fun at my expense because I was about to go to bed and simply couldn't be bothered with that madman lol. Still, I appreciate the kind words! Alpha, there is a time and a place for banter, this is an important issue facing half of our population, it shouldn't be swept under the rug.
  23. Alpha, character assassinate me all you want, it matters not. Have fun.
