  1. Well this is probably the shortest-lived post ever, so I’m gonner try and save it with another riddle. (And please don’t sabotage this one, northern; give the poor souls a chance!) You have 9 marbles: 8 of them weigh 1 ounce each; 1 weighs 1.1 ounce. The 9 marbles are all uniform in size, appearance and shape. You have access to a balance scale containing 2 trays - you may use the balance 2 times. You must determine which of the 9 marbles is the heavier one using the balance only 2 times.
  2. looooooooool...you spoil sport, I could have had them wondering for day on end! The facts in this riddle are clear: There is an initial £30 charge. It should have been £25, so £5 must be returned and accounted for. £3 is given to the 3 friends, £2 is kept by the bagboy - there you have the £5. The trick to this riddle is that the addition and subtraction are done at the wrong times to misdirect your thinking - and quite successfully for most. Each of the 3 friends did indeed pay £9, not £10, and as far as the friends are concerned, they paid £27 for the night. But we know that the clerk will tell us that they were charged only £25 and when you add the £3 returned with the £2 kept by the bagboy, you come up with £30.
  3. Hey Women are safer drives, haven't you heard of Diamond the insurance company just for woman? They’ve got the lowest rates just for women, because they know women aren't gonner cost them many, like those reckless men on the roads. If I had it my way I wouldn't allow men to drive until the ages of 30!!! (When they‘ve matured finally)
  4. 'E' ...ermm how about Eric Sermon, so thats 'N' again
  5. Three friends check into a hotel for the night and the clerk tells them the bill is £30, payable in advance. So, they each pay the clerk £10 and go to their room. A few minutes later, the clerk realises he has made an error and overcharged the trio by £5. He asks the bagboy to return £5 to the 3 friends who had just checked in. The bagboy sees this as an opportunity to make £2 as he reasons that the three friends would have a tough time dividing £5 evenly among them; so he decides to tell them that the clerk made a mistake of only £3, giving a pound back to each of the friends. He pockets the leftover £2 and goes home for the day! Now, each of the three friends gets a pound back, thus they each paid £9 for the room which is a total of £27 for the night. We know the bagboy pocketed £2 and adding that to the £27, you get £29, not £30 that was originally spent. Where did the other pound go? What do you think?
  6. 'A'...So i'll say Ashanti The next ones 'I'

Oh I nearly forgot the DSS rang again, they said they’re gonner stop the giros if you don’t show proof you’ve been looking for work, good luck! And there I was thinking you actually wanted the bloody money, what you gonner do?

  10. I bet the American Constitution had "small prints" But it's nothing new though! Their whole concepts and ideals are based on deception and corruption, So why would it be such a big supprise to realise now that Freedom of speech is a lie.
  11. Are you sure that's called being stressed? isn't it more like insanity? but then again.... "(13)Losing your mind was okay, but when the voices in your head quieted, it was like losing your best friend" suggests otherwise .
  12. I was just wondering is there some sort of prize for being the 100th person to reply??? WELL???!!! (i'm serious...lol)

  14. HERMANN GOERING'S QUOTE OR NAZI LESSON ON MANIPULATING PUBLIC OPINION "Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. That works the same in every country" ANY SIMILARITIES WITH USA & UK METHOD TO COMMIT A GENOCIDE AGAINST IRAQ ??
  15. I'd like to think that most old people are complete...so when I grow older and become a geriatric, I’d like to have that feeling of contempt, we’re you know you’re ready to face Allah, but a lot of people are deprived of this and that’s what worries me the most, but sadly enough it doesn’t motivate me to do better! Being complete to me would be: *Getting all my goals (Education) *Becoming a good Muslim (I’m not happy with myself now ) *Getting married, having kids and even seeing my grandchildren. *And just knowing I spent my life wisely and didn’t waste it away! *Oh and being comfortable (money wise, I wouldn't want be too greedy)
  16. Actually considering we're all Somali here (Well most of us anyways) If someone was to ask me "What am I?" I'd asume they mean't what tribe am I...I'm NOT too bothered with all that stuff but usually that's what I get asked. As for the rest I think it's safe to say I look like a typical Muslim woman and most people would clock on I'm Somali...So that would leave me to say, "What!...are you serious, You’re having a laugh aren’t you?"
  17. Sorry luv but I wasn't trying to prove anything, I was simply voicing my opinions, If I wanted to I could insult the whole of America for what Bush and his regime has done and I wouldn’t be bothered whether you agreed or disagreed with me, it’s still my opinion. Thanks anyways (no hard feelings )
  18. The full text of President George W Bush's speech and curly_sue’s comments if she was there! lol : "My fellow citizens. At this hour, American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger. (What danger? The only country able to cause great danger is America. And the people were fine before you started melding with them, anyways…I don’t see you after Korea and their weapons of mass destruction their so public about!) "On my orders, coalition forces have begun striking selected targets of military importance to undermine Saddam Hussein's ability to wage war. These are opening stages of what will be a broad and concerted campaign. (Saddam wasn’t planning to wage war ever, the whole Iraq scene had been quiet for years, till you decided you wanted revenge for September 11th) "More than 35 countries are giving crucial support from the use of naval and air bases to help with intelligence and logistics to deployment of combat units. "Every nation in this coalition has chosen to bear the duty and share the honour of serving in our common defence. (Wrong! They’re actually not with you in this one! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,343-617614,00.html) "To all the men and women of the United States armed forces now in the Middle East, the peace of a troubled world and the hopes of an oppressed people now depend on you. That trust is well placed. (You’re planning to kill and make homeless thousands of Iraqi’s, so run that by me again! So this will bring peace how?!) "The enemies you confront will come to know your skill and bravery. The people you liberate will witness the honourable and decent spirit of the American military. (Please don’t make me sick! honourable and decent are definitely not words I’d used to describe the American military!) "In this conflict America faces an enemy that has no regard for conventions of war or rules of morality. Saddam Hussein has placed Iraqi troops and equipment in civilian areas, attempting to use innocent men, women and children as shields for his own military. A final atrocity against his people. (Hello, are you really that dim-witted or did you miss the whole bit about how Hans Blix’s hasn’t found any weapons!?) "I want Americans and all the world to know that coalition forces will make every effort to spare innocent civilians from harm. A campaign on the harsh terrain of the nation as large as California could be longer and more difficult than some predict and helping Iraqis achieve a united, stable and free country will require our sustained commitment. (What like you did with Afghanistan?) "We come to Iraq with respect for its citizens, for their great civilisation and for the religious faiths they practise. We have no ambition in Iraq except to remove a threat and restore control of that country to its own people. (Yeah right like you’d care about the thousands of innocent civilians you’ve killed by placing Iraq under sanitations for years, due to your hunger for Oil) "I know that the families of our military are praying that all those who serve will return safely and soon. "The people of the United States and our friends and allies will not live at the mercy of an outlaw regime that threatens the peace with weapons of mass murder. (in that case shouldn’t America be invaded and their weapons disarmed?) "We will meet that threat now with our army, air force, navy, coastguard and marines so that we do not have to meet it later with armies of fire-fighters and police and doctors on the streets of our cities. (Still using September 11th as an excuse to wage war over Iraq, isn’t revenge a sin?) "Now that conflict has come, the only way to limit its duration is to apply decisive force and I assure you this will not be a campaign of half measures and we will accept no outcome but victory. (Who are you fighting?, I thought you were going to disarm the country!) "My fellow citizens, the dangers to our country and the world will be overcome. We will pass through this time of peril and carry on the work of peace. We will defend our freedom. We will bring freedom to others and we will prevail. (I’d love to send a dictionary to Bush, and explain to him the meaning of freedom; I think he’s got it twisted with incarceration!)
  19. I think everyone’s clear on what the religion says about kissing...it's not allowed full stop! But how many of you people do everything the Qu’ran says anyways? I’m not condoning kissing but I doubt you’re a hoe just because you kissed a guy! It’s really up to you, but have sex on the other hand is definitely Haram just like kissing but it’s up to you and when you start feeling guilty or start fearing Allah!
