^^^ I never said Baraxley was part of puntland i said when will Galckayo have 1 admin instead of two sides galmudug and puntland lol, if somaliland managed to put Ceerigaabo under 1 admin , why can't puntland do the same with galckayo surely since they claim to be 70 percent of the city mise they are afraid of another baraxley karbashing just like few months ago.

^^^^ The distance between Maydh and Xiis is like the distance between Florida and Miami , nevertheless Maydh is in a stragetic position just 30km north of ceerigaabo ( the capital of sanaag) and all that is needed is a clear paved road which connects the two.

Indeed Qudhac, Juma think its going to be a huge port like the 1 in mogadishu or berbera but that is not the case , since the port will be just a small or medium functioning port which will create jobs , and pave the way for development in the eastern somaliland regions. the most positive thing is the sanaagian somalilanders will no longer have to go to far west in berbera or rely on the far east ports of puntland such as Bosaso.

Juma-nne, if its going to develop the eastern regions of somaliland then be it we can't forever rely on the part time ethiopian used port of berbera. :rolleyes:

Bilan, it's just the eastern somaliland also needs a functioning port then a massive development can happen in those regions but i guess some people are not happy about other parts of somaliland developing.

Qudhac, sxb i have no problem with Las qorey being developed aswell for the last time , anigu all i am saying is Maydh and Las qorey are two different respectable places and each need their economical and development needs, but what JB is implying is that we should desert Maydh and instead build las qorey only waxas ma wax lagu hadla? mise ma wax caqliga gali kara ba? that is like saying lets desert burco and instead develop las anod only. some people really need to get their priorities right.

Oodweyne i can understand JB thinks if Maydh succedes , Las qoray will be neglected, but really Maydh has nothing to do with the affairs of gobolka badhan that is something he should understand , the people of Maydh will welcome anybody to invest in there so i don't understand why JB is expecting the people of sanaag to run to Las qorey when they have just a port which is 30km from Ceerigaabo and very useful , the capital of sanaag is ceerigaabo and the main provider of ceerigaabo and beyond will be Maydh it's time JB opened his eyes to the reality cause the people of ceerigaabo will not rely on Las qoray which is much farer distance and different political alliances then Maydh, it's like saying stop investing in burco and invest in las anod does that make sense sxb, that is what i call misplaced priority and that is what JB wants " a misplaced priority". Jacaylbro , Maydh port already exists but it's a small 1 not enough to supply the whole eastern regions besides , Maydh is like the heart and economic of Ceerigaabo, sanaag, sool , if Maydh gets back to functioning just like the late 80s then it will be a good thing for all the surronding areas, as for Las qoray it can also supply the eastern regions nothing wrong with having two ports, just like Kismaayo and Mogadishu, Merka.

Oodweyne, sxb if Las qoray considers itself as part of somaliland then i have no problem with the people of somaliland investing it , that doesn't mean we will leave Maydh - maydh will be also invested in , may the best port city win then it will surely be a good economic competition.
