The power-sharing formula is a post-conflict necessity until the duration of the provisional government period (the current era of 4 years). What the president was alluding to is the state-less method of doing this and the almost faction like friction between Puntland State and the central government whereby Faroole can dictate to Villa Somalia as its equal. Your question was more rhetorical than realistic. If it were rhetorical I wouldnt' ask it twice, saaxib. There must be something I'm missing here. 4.5 surely does not only mean Gedo! Why is the man limiting himself?

Ngonge is another, but that is because his attitude is shaped by the misogynic Arab culture! And also to liven up this dicussion, what about women who have low opinion of old men like Blessed? :D You have read what she said above! I think women are mad (including every single one related to me). I do not think they're inferior. Kala saar. Malika, do you say otherwise?
  3. ^^ I hardly ever use any of these applications, saaxib. In fact, lately (that's the last couple of years) SOL has been the only thing/place I wasted my time on (and that's mostly during work hours). It's not aging that makes life more serious, it's responsibility. The more you're burdned with, the more serious life becomes. However, if you were a single fifty year old, life would still be as fun and easy as that of a twenty year old (except for whatever mental burdens you put on yourself).
  4. Years ago, there used to be e-mails and text messages like your posts here. Do I have to copy this stuff to ten of my friends?
  5. ^^ (Salaam all). Faheema, I thought Skype was banned in the UAE. I'm told (as in waxa la yedhi) that Google hangout is the thing most geeks there use.
  6. The good news is that the safe is empty. Somalia starts from scratch and if there is any corruption taking place in the future you will all know who to blame. (boy school error from the new president).
  7. Things have really gone downhill for A&T when the scripts start making eyes at him.
  8. We are ready to sacrifice our souls, our children and our families so as not to give up Iraq. We say this so no one will think that America is capable of breaking the will of the Iraqis with its weapons. Saddam Hussein
  9. ^^ Chemotherapy helps curing cancer, lets get rid of the AIDS first.
  10. ^^ Yes but the author is probably going to be there to sign some books, right? Six of one and half a dozen of the other... p.s. Add Apophis to the list of people that I outrank in af Somali (it used to be Norf alone).

Maya maad sheegin. However, if you want to get a working Somali back, you need to defeat Al Shabab first. Today, you have no choice but to rely on Kenya. Tomorrow, you can (hopefully) kick them out.
  12. ^^ Don't think that's what he's saying. Oba, Ok. Lets assume everyone joins Al Shabab in fighting Kenya. What next? How would Somalia get to benefit from this supposed oil that you're patriotically defending here?

  14. ^^ Thursday weddings are not odd in Muslim countries.
  15. What appropriate Somali song do you think he should pass the time with while in prison?
  16. ^^ You're not helping, mate. Accept the Somali steryotyping of Kenyans and Ethiopians warya. Don't come up with your own.
  17. Yunis;871625 wrote: @Three cousins – Warya the Transition is done with – the selection process hinges on vetting within the agreed parameters of 4.5 basic formula, and doesn’t say he has to look for the prime number within the formula. But Gabbal says that the president already made up his mind about choosing a candidate from a particular region. In saying that the "transition has ended" is he saying that he's now in charge and will not try to sweet talk anyone (i.e. Farole) or is he saying that a new, good person is in charge and the old dodgy ways of Sharif are over? If the first, fair enough. If the second, how when he's already LIMITING himself with his choice for PM?
  18. ^^ The big fuss is always made about the visible kurasi not the background ones. All the stuff you're talking about are usually done by the mandarins.
  19. Gabbal;871529 wrote: Che- As cliche as it sounds (considering how used it is in this forum) but my source really is direct from the new President's innermost circle. The president from the beginning settled on the Gedo/Galgaduud/Jubba community and was vetting candidates. He has narrowed down to three and from what I hear has already chosen among them.. The president of Puntland's lack of attendance on inauguration day had to do with a telephone call gone awry on just this issue. He was told (I repeat verbatim) " the era of the transitional governments has ended " I'll leave it to the gallery to imagine just what brought that on and what ensued. Why would the president decide his PM must be from a certain community and limit the search to three cousins? How could he then say, with a straight face, that the era of of transition is over?
  20. ^^ What has the "inadeerkay kursi ha la siiyo" custom to do with having a functioning central bank or fiscal policies?
  21. Jb, Haa dee. Waliba magacayday badaleen. Alpha's vocabulary and sentence construction has suddenly improved. A&T's ciyaalnimo (a symptom normally found in most Alpha's posts) has also increased. Or, maybe, they're just kindred spirits!
  22. Day by day, you are starting to sound like Alpha! War are you sure you're not hacking A&T's account, tuug waaxid?
