^^ People love to talk, Juxa. If you allow them to talk, you get to know much about them without them knowing much about you. Listening also flatters them. Err..haye, how was your evening last night?

Her biggest mistake there is her ANGER. Here is how some cheeky fans defaced Liverpool's Airport.

Has the President of Somalia declared war on Puntland ?
NGONGE replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
^^ They have a point though. It's not about who eventually becomes PM, it's about who is being considered for the job NOW. If the news is true that PL candidates are not even being considered, PL and all its supporters have every right to raise questions. I personally doubt this is the case though. The new president seems too shrewed to make such a silly mistake right at the start of his rule. -
lol@Juxa proof reading. I think Jb will kill me if I post it here. But, as you know, I'm a geesi. Here you go: Interviwer:Next, we'll be speaking to Mr J. Baro, an active Somali blogger and journalist from Somaliland. Mr Baro, what is your take on the plight of the Somali journalists and the continued suppression of the media in the horn of africa?.. Jb: Bismi allahi al raxman al raxeem. actually, i am fery habby to take bart in your brogram and i watch it all da time. ehm. eeen, furdermore and wid regards to your brefious question about da somali journalists..een..i actually belief dat it ees WRONG what dey are doing to dem. however, eeen, dese journalist sometimes are at fault. ehem..for exsamble; dey write a lot of "bacaac"; dis is a somali word which means cantarbaqash, in adar words "xashiish". if da journalist slow down on da bacaac da goferment will stop targeting dem. but, of course, and wid out any conditions, let me tell you from here in da middle of hargeisa - which as viewers know is da cabital of the indebendent country by da name somaliland - dat i strongly abboos any unfair treatement of any good journalist who is not afflicded wid da bacaac disees. Interviewer: sorry Mr Baro, we missed the last part of your comment there, we think you have a bad connection. Jb: dis is imbossible! i haf already told you I am in Hargeisa, we have TREE G in Hargeisa and more kaybal is coming. da broblem must be from your side. I know dis because sometimes your webside crashes when i try to access it. Hello? Haalooo? War raggi maxa ku dhacy!

Of course after an interesting confrontation in which I told him to act in accordance with his position and do his job, he sort of become normal. Turned out to be a nice guy aside from the Arab side views which sometimes surfaced. Disclaimer: I have NEVER worked with Ibti nor had the opportunity to be her boss. Though, I too, would have probably given that Kiwi a couple of dirty looks if I were there. p.s. I work with "Gaalo", Barees Cune and Arabs. I freely mix with all groups and , because each group considers me to be one of them (Arabs for speaking Arabic, Gaalo for not being Barees Cune or Arab and the Barees Cune's for my familarity with their culture). I know everything I need to know about ALL of them, they know very little about me.

This weekend, Norf. I already wrote a transcript of the interview on his FB, did you not see it? p.s. Juxa, yaa ii karinaya dee? So reerko "indisposed" maaha. Which is one reason I'm at working when I'm in such ill health instead of taking the day off and sleeping it off.

Salaam all. Maxa cusub? (other than my bad flu?).

^^ It's Alpha doing his thing again. War is ilaali ban ku idhi (you always fall for scripts).
-
^^ You can't have it both ways, saaxib. In one thread you accuse the Somali president of being indecisive and here you call Farmajo an amateur for trying to force the president's hand!

Norf, I'm in one of those moods, saaxib.

Did you not read Rumsfeld's "shock and awe" pamphlet?

If it get a bit of paint, it really is not that bad. Plus, you have to remember that these are IDPs. Give them a toilet with a roof and they'll probably move in. Here are a collection of world toilets. Enjoy... This one is a women's standing toilet!

^^ Dee I can't see the video to read the title. Wax fahan. (morning).

Every time I hear about people drinking coffee (a beverage I can't stand) I remember Ella's song: I'm feeling mighty lonesome Haven't slept a wink I walk the floor and watch the door And in between I drink Black coffee Love's a hand me down brew I'll never know a Sunday In this weekday room I'm talking to the shadows1 o'clock to 4 And Lord, how slow the moments go When all I do is pour Black coffeeSince the blues caught my eye I'm hanging out on Monday My Sunday dream's too dry Now a man is born to go a lovin' A woman's born to weep and fret To stay at home and tend her oven And drown her past regrets In coffee and cigarettes I'm moody all the morning Mourning all the night And in between it's nicotine And not much hard to fight Black coffee Feelin' low as the ground It's driving me crazy just waiting for my baby To maybe come around My nerves have gone to piece sMy hair is turning gra yAll I do is drink black coffee Since my man's gone away

Jb, yes I am still trying to come up with something. It's never easy when it's real! Salaam Norf. None of them have any sources, they're just talking. Juxa, you and your sister work in the same office? When did you turn the place into a family business? (morning).

^^^ Hala hala..

^^ I didn't. I personally was taught in my history books that the Sayid was a great man so I am curious to see why others think he isn't. So should anyone else, I would have thought. p.s. Clan is Everything but a good book (of any kind) transcends clans. Why else do you think dictators always lock up journalists and artists? On this, I would only judge the book by it's content; if the author is a logical man with good prose who presents a good argument, I'll endorse the book. If it is a nonsense book like the one that the UCID guy wrote about jokes, I'll mock it.

That's not the way things are done. The more books written about a historical figure the more significance they assume. People are (to this day) still writing about Hitler, Stalin, Gandhi and Mandela. Not every book that is written is one of praise either. Check this show about Abraham Lincoln (whilst noting the title)! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00y5kdx
