^^ What will you do on the weekend? Anything really exciting and out of this world? Heh@Ibti giving Alpha advice. The madwoman is forever chasing lost causes. (Morning all).
-
^^ Don't think, just do it. For example, on the way to work this morning I had a couple of people arguing around me and was hit by that sinking feeling of wanting to be back in my bad and away from this mad world. Therefore, as soon as I got to the office I declared that I'm taking the afternoon off. Morning all. p.s. Rahima, dee I was the first one to welcome you. And anyway, now that the Australian national telecom provider has given you all your access back, I hope to see more Aussies coming back.

^^ Covent Garden is the longest in all of London. I remember once joining the Canons Sports Club in that area and having to take the stairs at the station before my "induction". Once the personal trainer heard about my stair climbing feat, he suggested that we skip the whole thing and try another day (I never went back).

^^ Were you asking me or Faheema about these mystery numbers?
-
Ibti, go to Dubai and buy one of those big Cumani Xalwo machines then take it to H Town and corner the Xalwo market.
-
Heh@Stoic. If you thought you were alone there, wait until the kids side with their mother. Ibti, something about your face and the way you carry yourself would tell any stranger that your name is one of those proper traditional names (caasha, Luul, Amina, etc). Faheema I have all three as members of my extended family.

^^ Had a discussion about names with a pregnant relative the other day. The name Qasim came up and though I found it nice sounding (to my carab-loving ears), I couldn't help but picture how it would sound in English (cuss him? ). Anas (in Arabic: he that brings contentment) is yet another name that would come out all wrong in English (sounds very close to "bottom"). Ibti, with some people, a single look at their face gives you a hint of what their name is. Had nobody told me what Faheema's first name was, I am sure I would still have guessed it right. Same with Blessed, Juxa, Val, Jb and Paragon. However, you, Norf, Serenity and even LST must have had a family dispute about your names when you were born and the choice fell on one that didn't suit you. p.s. Warya Bluelicious, thanks for your congratulations (and Samafal and GT).

^^ Ma "baqlaawa" iyo "kunaafa" baad ka daragtay, Faheema? Jb, I bet they saw the mistake of wasting an entire room for a couple of cakes and have now turned it into a bedroom or something. Heh.

^^ She's too stubborn to think sensibly. (morning all).

^^^ Yes. War waa riwaayad. The accused's wiki page says he's 28 years old. If anything, I reckon this letter was done by him to boost his image.
-
^^ Mashaallah. Is this why you felt confident enough to come back and post a couple of lines on here, Rahima? When do kids start school in Aussie land by the way?
-
^^ Naga daa dee. This discussion was only five posts long and you already forgot who said what! N.O.R.F;880012 wrote: ^Oo hurdado wey iska timaadaa miya? Just like turning the light off? If your cold is a serious one, haa wa iska timaadaa.

Sleep This is the single greatest thing you can do for your body when you’ve got the flu . By sleeping, you appropriate resources unconsciously to fighting the illness that you cannot delegate even when resting. Your body’s autonomous functions are at their all-time low when sleeping so your immune system will be at peak performance when you’re getting shut-eye. In addition to giving your immune system extra resources, sleep has the distinct advantage of letting you pass through your illness without even realizing that you’re sick. While sleeping you’ll also be sweating: this will also help in relieving you of the flu.

I googled it because you will not take my word for it, Faheema. (it's way down on the list but, if you read what it says, you would not have talked about its location).
-
I don't have to be a doctor to know what is common knowledge. Is it my fault that you are badow? http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/14931/1/Quickest-Way-to-Get-Over-the-Flu.html

Aduunkan waxa qasay waa badow badow kale tala ka qaadayaa. Sleep is good for colds and fevers. It allows your body to fight the virus without having to worry about dealing with the usual functions of the body that it would have to deal with when you're awake. Sort of like Star Trek engineers diverting powers from the shields to the engine.
-
Sleep some more. It's the quickest way to get rid of a cold.

^^ Dee seexo! (morning).

Does this new job mean he will not be allowed to return to Buuhodle?
-
^^ Don't be nice to her Faheema. You'll only encourage her to do more silly things. Anigu hadaan meesha joogi laha, waan dili laha. The stubborn rock head. Now let's hope you learnt your lesson and would never take that journey on your own again. (Salaam all).

^^ It says that the Somali PM is about to announce the appointment of a Mr Adan Xasan Cabdulraxaman for the edcuation portfolio. It claims that this person has declared his hatred for Saudi Arabia (and the gulf countries) in an Education Ministers' meeting in Tunisia in 2010. It urges quick action to prevent the Somali PM from giving the job to this man. (it's rubbish of course).
-
Mr Siddi should be asking if this PM is good enough to do the job rather than dwell on nonsense about qualifications and titles. Useless article really.

^^ I hear that A&T gave up on arguing online and rolled up his sleeves to join those arguing on the ground. Ma run ba?
