^^ I don't have to persuade myself of anything. I tell it as I see it, saaxib. Attending this conference did SL no harm and there were actual benefits from attending. p.s. Mario, which world is that? Not the ones in the conference, surely! Read their words again and again and again... "The Conference recognised the need for the international community to support any dialogue that Somaliland and the TFG or its replacement may agree to establish in order to clarify their future relations."

^^ Because it was a conference on SOMALIA. Wax fahan.

Abtigiis;794134 wrote: Today is 24 February, 2012. One day after the London Conference. Can believers of hadhwanaagnews and safk.hore.com tell us what special status had yesterday in the meeting? Will the real Oodweyne stand up and share with us the video of Somaliland sharing lessons on peace and security with the participants? There was no video showing SL sharing its lessons, nor was there one showing Kuwait, the UAE or Canada giving their speeches (but they all report that they did). As for your three (facts)..well, did you not notice the "special status" in the seating arrangment? Sharif having his followers around him but Siilaanyo sitting on a different part of the meeting (subtle but VERY LOUD and you know it, Abitigiis). How about William Hague speaking to memebers of the Diaspora the night before the conference (an official speech by the way): "Tomorrow the largest gathering of countries and organisations ever to come together to discuss Somalia will meet in this very room. The conference will include the President and Prime Minister of Somalia, the President of Somaliland, seven Somali delegations, leaders from across Africa, the Secretary General of the Union Nations, and many Foreign Ministers from around the world." Oh..how about the part in the final communique that mentions Somaliland. Would you borrow Zenawi's phrase and say that it's a bit of ambiguous creativity (or was it creative ambiguity)? "The Conference recognised the need for the international community to support any dialogue that Somaliland and the TFG or its replacement may agree to establish in order to clarify their future relations." All that in a Conference about Somalia and not Somaliland. All in all, Siilaanyo will go back happy with the progress made and the extraction of a clear distinction between Somalia & Somaliland.

^^ Bah..nothing changed.
-
^^ Xiin only sees what he wants to see. Yet, on SL & Somalia's relationship, nothing changed.
-
Was that it then? Much ado about nothing really.

^^ That's a different story. Your complaint should be with the owners of the club and not the manager (who is obviously being diplomatic and stretching his feet as far his blanket is allowed to go). Arsene is a winner, saaxib. He is no AVB! But, of course, had Rafa been your manager he would have told that board what's what by now. We're in the Carling Cup final this Sunday. One of many trophies that the KING will win us. p.s. I'm no closet fan of any club. I only support one team and, good or bad, they are enough for me.

^^ I don't count under either in this current misunderstanding. Ogaan ayaa la igu ciyaaraya. Juxa, apology maxa keenay? Waliga 'headache' ayaad ka ashkatooda..dee markaa waxan ku idhi, maalinto 'madax wareerka kaa ba'o, ashkatada bilo..tano waa tii waliga ku haysay nooh. But, never mind, I fully and whole heartedly apologise for any offence caused. Happy?

Carafaat;793421 wrote: I dont understand why Siilaantyo is standing seperately from Somalia. Walee dont like that. It looks strange and uncomfortable. Like I told another earlier, this is not a maqaaxi where you walk in and sit in the first empty seat available. It was arranged that way. Wax fahma.

In patroitic support of Somaliland's right to recognition, my bosses have sanctioned a head phone to be passed on to me so that I can listen to all this stuff in peace.
-

^^ Heh. Lakin this is an international conference, saaxib. It's not a maqaaxi where everyone sits where they like.
-
Is Cameron making a statement with that blue tie?
-
The Somalis are all sitting in one line. Siilaanyo is sitting somewhere else.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/9698518.stm 1219 Tory Tony Baldry says tomorrow's London conference on Somalia should show criminals and terrorists a determination to restore order to the country. The PM agrees that the "building blocks" should be put in place.

^^ Can't see it and don't think it would be put on youtube this quickly.
