lol i dont know what else i could have said, i gues you have an imagination of your own lazy. What i will say is Lake, one more outburst like that and dont be supprised to see your posting privilages confiscated. It shouldnt and isnt too difficult to moderate your own contributions, the vast majority in the sports section do it, so either keep up with the standard or fall off the show
  3. Ease up Guy's Apparently alot of Americans Think Africa is a country , so it shouldnt be such a shock that somalia might not be well known.
  4. Your wlcm Classique Those are very interest observations Viking. I do rember going to have a MRI Scan after suffering from some Knee problems when i was an athelet (those where the days  ) having to make sure any metalic objects where removed n i was asked if i had any metalic devices within, even teeth filling lol. My interest in the article stems from the following. The Noble Quran on the Cerebrum: Lying is generated from the person's forehead: No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)! (Quran, 96:15-16) Figure 12: Functional regions of the left hemisphere of the cerebral cortex. The prefrontal area is located at the front of the cerebral cortex. (Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology, Seeley and others, p. 210.) I wanted to see how this new technique would help to establish further this scientific fact within the Quran.

  10. Salam calayakum Nomads. It is indeed food for thought. The level of Imaan and clarity of mind that this brother has is what we should seek inshallah. In this case his love for Allah swt has manefisted itself into the appropriate action of seeking Jihad. A decision which he reaced needed no Fatwa or authority.

  12. re: Fifa World Player of Year award I Against I - 325th post - 29 Nov 2004 15:41 i hate to insult people anonymously on an internet message board, but if you think ronaldinho has accheived nothing besides "a bit of showboating" then you are either ****** or you have had your head in the sand for the last 12 months. ronaldinho has performed brilliantly for club and country this year (the only reason he didn't shine in an international tournament was because brazil send a mainly under-23 side to the copa america). henry was never the most influential player on the pitch in the games that matterered (and if someone brings up that win over inter milan i will scream - one great game doesn't FIFA world player of the year you make). if deco had've played a more influential role in his country's progression to the euro finals i would've gone for him to win it, but for all his exquisite play in the portugese league and the CL, he did not produce what he was capable of in the euros. and shevchenko well what can you say? the guy is a legend, i am a man utd fan and even i would be hard pressed to choose between him and RVN. ac milan are lucky he never got itchy feet as the wily ukranian has often carried them single handed with his intelligent forward play and lethal finishing. i reckon this year's contest should be between ronaldinho and sheva, and while my head tells me that ronaldinho shades it on the basis of sheer talent and entertainment, my heart wants it to go to sheva because i think ronaldinho is going to win it again possibly two or three times in the future and sheva is not getting any younger. i may be generalising but it seems to me that the only folks voting for henry are gooners. most other football fans seem to see it as between the buck toothed one and andriy shevchenko. [reply] [Complain about this post] Next Man said exactly what i wanted to say lol Sheva all the way, Goofy will win it many more times in the future Ahh man North why did u have to go n paste next man's view aswell lol
  13. lol Yeah mate, i thought i was in a Small run down Park with housing estates surronding each four corners
  14. Henry in running for Fifa award Is he playing footie or Doing the 100m  Thierry Henry is one of three finalists for Fifa's World Player of Year award. Apart from the Arsenal striker the other two finalists are also forwards - Barcelona's Ronaldinho and AC Milan's Andriy Shevchenko. Cant see Past Ronaldihno on form myself , But on Merit it has to be Champions League and Seria A winner Shevchenko. 104 in 165 Seria Games Last Year's Award

  16. Booooring lol, Arsenal who!!! oRGALI mate it was a great game, something i dont often see in the pemiership, Lpool started to play some crisp passes n the floor again, admitedly with a few long ball's check in for good measure. The first goal was picture perfect, Arsenal Repost was a fantastic from Captian Veria, And Mellor's smash n grab shot was excellent. Arsenal can all go done from here, loss of form and confidence seems to eb hitting hard. Where as Man u & Chelsea look to be stepping up a gear
  17. Bashir Aden Ibrahim I have been a gunman for 14 years. I used to be a driver but I was press-ganged into fighting for Somalia's last government, led by Siad Barre. After he was toppled, I started to use my gun to earn the money to support my family. Our clan elders have told us to stop fighting but they don't have any money, unlike our faction leaders, so we follow those with the money I live in a former government building with my wife and six children, along with the families of my comrades. I work at a check-point, where we stop passenger buses, taxis and good trucks but if we see a vehicle with its own security guards, we leave them alone. The amount we charge depends on how much the truck is carrying. If it's fully laden, we can charge up to 1m shillings ($60) but if it's only carrying a half load, we only charge 500,000 sh. For a minibus, we charge 50,000 sh for the full day and then an extra 10,000 in the evening. If the driver doesn't pay, we won't let him through. This is how we earn the money we need to live. We don't have to give any of our earnings to our faction leader, we keep it all for ourselves. 'Zombies' The gun rules Somalia today and my gun is the tool of my trade - it is my pen. If we fight, we fight for our clan. I know this is not a good life but it is the only thing I can do at the moment. Things were much better during the regime of Siad Barre. Then we were human beings but now we are living like zombies, just surviving, because there is no direction. From time to time, our clan elders have told us to stop fighting but they don't have any money, unlike our faction leaders, so we follow those with the money. There is mistrust among the Somalis, that's why other governments have failed. We are ignorant - we just do what our leaders tell us. If our leaders tell us to start fighting, that's what we know best, so it's very easy. It's better to have a government but I am not confident that a government can come and control the whole country unless foreign troops come and disarm us because there is so much distrust between the clans here. Or maybe Somalia's former soldiers could help us to disarm. For myself, I have no problem with the newly elected president [Abdullahi Yusuf] or his prime minister [Ali Mohamed Ghedi] but I will do what my leader tells me. Once all the different militias are disarmed, then we will all be equal and we can live together peacefully. Return to top
