  1. ^Things are not as they seem.
  2. Don't ya'll get nauseated about talking about one friggin topic for weekends on end. Give it a rest, people!
  3. Poor Ahura! I guess she hasnt seen Russel Peter Monologue. You see, the old man likes women not woman. Publically accepting you as his Valentine is a no-no. Any ametuer knows the damage this can do let alone the wise NGONGE. His previous serenading/storytelling/outrageous outbursts can be explained away by a simple buiseness model. He was just advertising himself. Now that his luuq and suuq are booming, there's no need for that. Instead, he's hired me as his assistant. My job-description is to evaluate for him (thanks to my sharp visual judgement and keen discernment) all the pictures and letters of infatuated women. I recieved 20 love letters and pictures on his behalf, but only seven made the cut. Competition is stiff. So, get in line, will ya! P.S. I have a way of giving all those discarded pictures and women some hope. That's the best part of my job!

Xiinfaniin is so agreeable. It's gotta be a result of your islamic knowledge. Can't argue against that. Well said, Dude.

I see a Hurricane christened Katrina on its last breath of twirling, whirling, and swirling. A name change would not be so bad an idea.

Katrina, the epithet "Bum Bum" was coined (or atleast used) by Khayr himself. I dont see how it is inoffensive for him to use it, but offensive for others to characterize him with his words. Besides, Khayr doesnt need to be protected by a Moderator with a holier-than-thou attitude and with no sense of humor. Sheekh Khayr made the bum bum joke and remark. And we're just canonizing the joke. He would have easily expressed his dislike if he found it offensive, no?
  7. Point:- D'uh! Of course that's what he meant. You have a penchant for stating the obvious. What Callypso is criticizing and analysing is how the enraged enthusiast, Kashafa, is using the interaction of animals (hence, the animal metaphor) to justify human responses. If you cant see that the two belong in two different spheres, I have to say this again, with utmost respect, the dunce cap's gotta go!
  8. ^^^ I dont think Kashafa was thinking (does he ever?) when he posted that. He was too busy huffing and gruffing and puffing. He thinks that the destructive and barbaric protest of piety is "inevitable". Keep roaring away, O Lion! We civilized (and human) muslims will reason to get our point across. You "Lions" can roar away and devour everything in your paths.

^^loool Hey Just, dont get too comfortable over there. There's still a chance that you might have to argue with him. What if he says he is the Stephen dude from the other forum. Hmm, though he would have to prove it, but how? I guess he would have to make a post on that forum to prove it? He should start a general thread on that forum about plagiarism in the scientific world.

When you are a human being its kinda hard to understand that level of barbarism caused by offended "religous sensitivities". Christians (nominal or not) are not the only ones surprised at the barbarism (ferocity just doesnt do justice to describe the embassy-burning, apocolaptic protesting etc) displayed by our brothers and sisters in faith. Civilized muslims are surprised just as everybody else.

You can get banned for using tribal references, but you dont get banned for unambigious plagiarism? What kind of joke is this?
  13. For some reason I still agree with NGONGE and I have more clarifications and elaborations of what I said before, but I'll sit this one out. Let it be one-to-one. I aint gonna give Castro the excuse of: oh-they-rushed-me-from-all-sides.
  14. Why is it always being called an alleged confession? When does a confession become an actual confession? I mean if it was on tape (the confession) would it be called alleged? I bet lawyers would find a way even to explain away actual confessions, whatever it is.

^^ Dude, this thread wasnt started to discuss whether Iran is a Kaafir nation or not. Someone just decided to switch gears. Why are you bothered if someone else tries to switch again? Besides, I think Viking was just reminding Sayid- a good reminder too- that he shouldnt be too confident about Salafi's agreement, because Salafi even surpasses Sayid when it comes to Takfeeri or Tabdeei' tendencies. Case in point: Even Sayid Qutb is considered by the wahhabbi/salafi/madkhalis to be a ignornat innovator. That's not too far off the current topic anymore than Sayid's first response was off.
  16. Duke, I dont think coming up with symbols is a huge feat or a big accomplishment. It is about the concept . And the concept of zero predates the advent of Islam iteslf. Again, that's not to say that Muslims did not play a significant role in further developing the concept.

Paragon knows Somalis too well, I guess.... Not that thought theivery is peculiar to Somalis
  18. ^^ is this the only time you are at zero?
  19. ^^ I've heard of that too. How is it possible for someone to be native to a country (born there) and yet need ESL classes? They have high school students (natives) in ESL programs

I hate google. It gives every goon the guns of Takfeer.
  21. I think ENuri's invention is one decade too late. People are past wireless handshakes to more, erm, "intimate" internet encounters. Ever heard of the wireless, over the internet... No, I would'nt dare. lool
  22. Sayid, you need to be discplined with some "external putative measures" (read: slapped silly)
  23. ^^looooool SB: Atleast does not plagiarize like some people or just use the cut-and-paste escape hatch. Even though I kinda find it hard to make out the meaning of his weirdly paragraphed and CAPTION-ridden posts, it's still orginal. is a good man.
