From what I gathered in my world politix class, China looks like the next superpower. They have a huge population....their economy is booming...and their military is feirce. In the next 50 years....who knows what they could become? (Maybe the next hegemon) There is no way JAPAN could be a superpower now....are you kidding me ?? They dont even have a military.

Did you guys hear Bush's speech last night? How did he tie in the War on Iraq with Palestine in his address to the nation? He said that Isreal should not feel the threat of terror due to suicide bombing and that Palestine should work towards its own democratic state..but get this...Isreal will have a hand in the creation of that state!!! I thought it was outrageous!!! what did you guys think of the speech?

you know, I havent heard of 'em up until maybe last year. I didn't know such an organization exsited. I even met a guy who is a mason. From what I hear, they behave like a fraternity except they were founded in the 1700s. they are not called a fraternity either, its a "brotherhood". They have a pledge system, initiation, hand signs/shakes, etc. They are very secretive about their methods and their meetings are pretty confidential. The thing that is most interesting about them is that they always have to hook their brother up. NO MATTER WHAT! so far, thats all I know about 'em. hope that helps
