First of all VaGirl, Telling you that you have a beautiful body is not that flattering. You have to take into account that every man wants to get laid and he is just testing the waters with you. If he really was interested in you, he would say something like, "I like your intelligence, honesty, bla bla bla"...but it looks like this guy is not even trying. I would suggest the next time he tries to pull a fast one on you....put him on the spot..ask him why he thinks you are so sexy..why does he want to go out with you...and if he gives you the answers that you want to hear and think that he is being sincere...then whatever! Khayr, We pursue education in order to use our intellect better so that we can be convicted of what we believe in...and not wait around for other people who claim to know the religion feed us garbage one by one... We pursue careers because in this place called North america, the land of the capitalists, you need both parents in the household working in order to afford a decent living. Women pursue careers now more, because the divorce rate is increasing, so she needs to be able to support her family also. Is this a hard concept to understand? nothing "secular" about this...its a simply REALITY for some people. Muslim or otherwise. No one is talking about prayer here. We are talking about using arabic words. Personally, I think we forget alot of people are NOT arabic when we use all these arabic terminology.

It's called propoganda! You just have to be an informed citizen to be able to sift through the garbage on t.v. Even my favorite show "24"..discriminates against arabs by giving them the stereotypical role as the bad guy.
