  3. What a joke! The author doesn't even know the difference between the hijab and the veil.

  5. ^ Some said he couldn't ever make it there and when he did, they said he couldn't last a night. Then it was a week. Now it's a month.
  6. Mr.Taliban is still at all. Aint he amusing? ( )Girls, just laugh at him and move along.
  7. ^ Correct Taako man. Some of the posts haven't been confirmed yet(i.e. the US post). Some aren't even from the Presidents clan( i.e. Ina libaaxsankataabte) And some are completely qualified for their posts (i.e. Hibo Maxamed Cilmi). But that doesn't really matter, does it? They're all from Puntland..hence they're all from the Presidents clan..thus its nepotism at work.

If I am an insurgent, I wouldn't target civilians, including those closely related to the clan president or his cabinet members. Instead, I would focus and dedicate my energy on targeting the occupiers and armed collaborators (including those working as spies, informants, mercenaries, iwm). Thanks for the honest response. Civilians shouldn't be targeted no matter what. If only certain individuals on this forum had as much sense.

Here they are killing people for( hand on mouth)..their family-ties? This is disgusting and whoever did this is a complete coward. Illahay haa u naxariisto the deceased and may his loved ones suffering be eased. Amiin. The report says "Gunmen"; it doesn't state the ICU was behind the killing. Even the cousins of the man killed stated they do not know who's behind it. Besides the ICU, there are other elements such as disgruntled warlords, criminal elements, iwm who are involved in the conflict. But what's clear is, the ICU targets only the occupiers and collaborators. The ICU leaders, especially Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, has stated and instructed the mujahideens to only target the occupiers and collaborators. I don't get your sudden rush to accuse the ICU. Okay..forget my accusation for a second, do you condemn or condone the killing of this man?

  14. ^ It's Buntilan in Somali or atleast thats how the people around me pronounce it. An update on the situation: Suspects in Ship Hijacking Arrested in Somalia By Cathy Majtenyi Nairobi 27 February 2007 Four men were arrested in Somalia Tuesday in connection with the Sunday hijacking of a ship delivering relief food to Somalia. But as Cathy Majtenyi reports for VOA from Nairobi, four additional hijackers are still holding the 12-member crew and ship. World Food Program (WFP) spokeswoman Stephanie Savariaud describes to VOA the arrests, which were made by authorities in the semi-autonomous Puntland region. VOA News
  15. Why would anyone smoke Shisha? Does it even get you high? Just twirl around for a while, you'll feel high for a bit and guess what..it aint haram and it won't cost you a penny.
  16. That explains A LOT. I've been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past few days, I really thought I was losing it. PMS totally exists.
  17. Whoa! I could use some Tylenol right about now, reading that just gave me a big headache.

  20. Miskiin Why don't you post lists of the positions held by other clans in this government? I'm sure they far out-number the list you have posted. You're complaining about the Presidents personal spokesperson, his personal bodyguards etc. and some of the names you listed haven't even been confirmed yet ( i.e. the ambassador to the United States). Is your complaint then that the President picked his "nephews and nieces"( as you put it) to protect him and speak for him? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?! How do you know that they're not qualified for these positions? Should all people who belong to the Presidents clan now be denied any position in the government regardless of how qualified they are just to appease people like you who won't be able to see beyond their qabiil?
  21. Are you saying there are isbaaros in Baargaal? That place is dead; you could go days without seeing anyone. It'd be really useless to rob anyone inland lol.
  22. Originally posted by mystic: They have finished robbing people which live inland and want to rob ships that are bringing food to their people. Talk about tuugnimo. I thought pirates only operated in the sea. Who did they rob inland?
  23. Originally posted by Tone: quote:Originally posted by Violet: quote: your signature chooses to wipe off an entire country You mean Somaliland? Well, technically, it's still apart of Somalia and until the two sides sit down and work things out, that's how it shall remain. That doesn't mean I hate Somaliland, I understand why Somalilanders would want to leave the union and I honestly have no problem with it. Abaayo, its one thing to dislike the TFG..you even have the right to dislike President Abdullahi, but to you say that his clan doesn't care about Somalis or Somalia and you dislike them..Don't you think that's taking it a bit far? Work what out? lol...Somaliland people made it clear they wont ever go back. You people need to let your wishful thinking go. They have a lot to work out, like the situation in SSC.
  24. Originally posted by mantra: quote:Originally posted by Taako Man: Thanks for being upfront and honest. You're quite welcome. Violet I believe I have said all there is to say on this matter, in case you forgot here it is.. NO God-fearing person would dare show allegiance to a leader who would bring in kafirs to fight our brothers and sisters in Islam. When I say you and your lot, I mean those who support this pathetic excuse for a man because of Qabil, one quick glance at the threads in the politics section and one can't help but wonder whether this particular clan cares about the well being of Somalia and Somali's in general or about subjugating others No one else around here exercises political correctness, I don't see why I should either. I never said I disliked anyone from any region, I harbour no ill-feelings towards any Somali. You accuse me of supporting President Abdullahi for clan-reasons and like I said before, even if that were the case, is that not my right? As I said before it is, just as it is mine to say what I did, I still can't help but wonder whether the supporters of mr. Warlord and co would be sitting here singing about a government if it was Aweys who was elected in Nairobi. Perhaps I did get carried away (20 mins in this section and anyone would), my apologies Violet, Taako and others. Anyway back to my main point (and what led to this fruitless argument in the first place) you can't accuse A Yusuf's critics to be masking qabilism behind their comments, they stem from all backgrounds and come from every Qabil (including his), whereas his supporters...well think I covered this before anywho cafis Violet Abaayo I took you at your word and you should take me at mine. Any government is better than lawlessness and had Aweys been elected in Nairobi or had the ICU defeated the TFG, I would have supported them completely. My support for President Abdullahi doesn't stem from qabiil..I support a government and it just so happens that this government is headed by someone from the same region as my ancestors. Can I not support him and the government without being accussed of being a qabilist? You have the right to oppose the TFG because of their actions(i.e. bring the Ethiopians to Somalia), but it's not right to extend that dislike to the clans that inhabit Puntland. There are many other MPs in the government from various clans..why don't you feel the same way about their clans? Anywho, like you said you got carried away so no hard-feelings.
