LANDER;859019 wrote: I find hypocrits like Abdulahi Yusuf and Duke more repulsive than bloody ruthless leaders like Meles who at the very least were looking out for their own national interest, perhaps as a somali 'nationalist' you should have a better appreciation for that than I do. Tell me of just 1 hypocritical thing Abdullahi Yusuf did and your point is valid, name just 1.

LANDER;859010 wrote: Conqueror, Do not take for face value what some of these hypocrits like General Duke are writing in here. The likes of him were the biggest cheerleaders to Ethiopia's 2006 invasion of Somalia in the name of tribal pride and actions even the biggest coward would be ashamed to gloat about. Now you see them posturing in here claiming they are ecstatic with the death of the Ethiopian leader. None of us may know who's destined for hell but we all know the standing of hypocrits within our deen. There's nothing hypocritical about it. It was not about tribal pride but about fighting Islamists, something that is widely accepted today with Ethiopians in Gedo, Bay, Bakool, Hiiraan and Galguduud, so the only hypocrites are the ones turning a blind eye today, to what they saw as an invasion in 2006, you must be one of them.

NGONGE;858991 wrote: ^^ Which relic and what entity? (Zenaawi is dead, he's not relic anymore). Somalia’s outgoing president Sharif Sheikh Ahmed on Tuesday sent his condolences to the Ethiopian government and its people following the death of the country’s strong man Prime Minister Meles Zenawi who died in a hospital in abroad on Monday. Speaking at a press conference inside Mogadishu’s main airport, President Sharif said the fallen Ethiopian leader was a significant figure in the Horn of Africa. He said he was in good terms with Meles Zenawi before his death and used to see things from the same perspective despite their past records. The president said they shared common position when it comes to regional security matters, saying they both advocated for lasting peace in the horn of Africa as well as stronger relations between horn of African countries and their people. http://www.bar-kulan.com/2012/08/21/president-sharif-sends-condolences-to-ethiopians-over-zenawi%E2%80%99s-death/ And we have a leader in the race. Silaanyo is down to second place. 1. Shariif 2. Silaanyo 3. ? 4. ?

During the coronation of Queen Elizabeth there was a huge celebration in Hargeisa. The whole town was practically shut down and lots of congratulatory telegrams were sent. I still remember that wonderful day . I have been to London twice but unfortunately I didn't meet the Queen on either occasion. I first became a chief when Somaliland was a British protectorate. I worked closely with the British colonial officials, and was selected by them as the chief of chiefs. I worked very well with them for 20 years until independence in 1960. I liked the British a lot, mainly because they brought peace to our land. When they first arrived, the clans were at each other's throats. We were killing and fighting each other, and the British put a stop to it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-18150302

Isn't it a shame he died now and not a few years from now, we could have been on our feet and incorporated the region, no chance since 1991 has come, this might have been one of them if there was a power struggle. Good riddance nevertheless.

You need to be an MP to become Prime Minister.

They are no different than any of us, I was talking about secessionist Somalilanders.

I think in the case of Somaliland they'd praise you to isolate them.

Also notice, there's never any talk of Laascaanood, so where's the horumar when your "capital" is in "foreign" hands?
