People will listen to this and say is that all they have on the guy wa iyaga malin walba cayayee. They are grasping for straws, digging up an edited tape by Dahir Calasow and WaagaCusub, from before he was appointed PM (but was appointed anyway) by the man he is allegedly talking ill off, they realise he will be president so they will drag his name through mud beforehand. It's qabiil related nothing more, nothing less, he could be anything, but if he is from Puntland they'd still be against him. Just look at the guy saying he replaced his office with people from his qabiil, a lie, but has to be mentioned nonetheless.

Cawaale;861903 wrote: Abtigiis, I think by now we know that few SOLers have made to Mogadishu, some in Villa Somalia, and they would tell you that the said man is nothing but tribalism who by the way fired all the staff who worked at the ministry when come to the office only to replace them with clansmen. Farmajo left behind 29 women and men who came from different regions of Somalia, and most important they all were educated. Gaas came and replaced them all with 20 of them from his sub-sub-clan and the rest from different sub tribes of Puntland. A pathetic lie. He didn't change anything at a ministerial level, he inherited Farmaajo's staff and the only time some were replaced were after the suicide bombing at the national theatre, who in fact happen to be from Farmaajo's clan, so is Farmaajo a clannist for having them in the first place?

Mr Somalia [ It should read Mr Puntlander] Ok, I am fair game , but Abdiweli Mohamed is not a qabilist, I wonder why Abtigiis is so much against him, he's going out of his way to say his point.
  10. I partly agree with Abtigiis SOLers have clearly lost their intellectual prowess, a few like me are left with no corner to call home anymore. The clannish camping is what's endemic to our failure as a people. I for one support Lieutenant General Madoobe for the presidency of the upcoming Azania State of Somalia, however I don't believe that at this crucial juncture in our political progress we should support him due to his lack of qualifications for such a high ranking position. I believe if he proves himself to be an exceptional leader at a regional level he indeed can have the acumen needed in such a position.

  20. Establishing sound Monetary/Fiscal Policies Implementing sound monetary and fiscal policies will create jobs by rekindling the livelihood sources of ordinary Somali, including the fisheries, livestock, agriculture, exploitation of known and prospective hydrocarbon and other natural resources. Coupled with this is the establishment of effective taxation systems and policies. In additions to utilizing foreign aid and investment towards building institutional capacities and improve transparency. Job Creation and Sustainable Economic Growth Fostering economic growth and developing effective poverty reduction strategies is the first step in the revival of Somalia.A pillar of my government’s core objective will be to undertake the process of creating well paying and meaningful jobs for the citizens of our country. While there are no concrete data, it is estimated that our country’s unemployment is well over 90%. This level of unemployment is unsustainable and could hinder the reconciliation and reconstruction process. Moreover, security and durable peace will not exist without sustainable economic growth. And to that end, we intend to match employers and job seekers by creating vocational job training schemes so that people can get into the job market quickly. We will also harness the country’s economic potential by tapping into our rich natural resources. Re-establishing our Institutions Rarely do countries get the opportunity to redesign all over again their institutions, ‘the rules of the games’, and how they conduct their affairs, whether it is in the business, politics or private spheres. If that opportunity does arise, it usually involves in a major shock such as civil wars, or other internal social upheavals. Somalia has experienced one of the worst civil wars in the contemporary history and in the process lost all its institutional capacity including physical structures. We have an opportunity to alter the very culture; the norms and values that brought down the central government in the first place by designing strong and well functioning institutions that can withstand future shocks. We will identify, select and train ‘the best and brightest’ from our society for future public managers and senior government roles. We will create incentives to attract competent public servants and set benchmarks to measure their productivity.
