- It fails to articulate a national vision and a workable national and local system of governance. There is strong belief that instead of federalism decentralization suits best Somalia’s needs for democratic and efficient governance. What is crucial for the Somali people is to negotiate in good faith a workable and hierarchical system of national and local governance that is accountable, trustworthy, sustainable, equitable and self sufficient. Actually there's a 'National Security Plan' part of the road map and constitution. This nigga knows nothing.

I think you are the one being naive, there's more at play here. I guarantee you, if it fails, Puntland will secede, there's no doubt about it or the capital will be moved from Mogadishu to another area.

What's left if this road map fails, you think we will let moryaan set us back another 21 years? Even I won't be against secession if it fails and let the south become a trusteeship.

@Samafal There's 3 types of secessionists. There's Saalax or AfricaOwn, who see nothing less than the "Republic of Somaliland". They want nothing to do with the south and can't wait to get the hell away. There's Xaaji Xunjuf, who doesn't want to abandon the Somali cause politically, so he wants to be involved politically in hindering the people he sees as his enemies. Then there's Carafaat, he's the one espousing unity but has the same ideology as Carte Qaalib and other men that failed in trying to bring unity among southern clans. So he wants to ruin it for others. That's the way I see it.

There won't be another administration is the road map fails, and the constitution is part of the road map. If Somaliland engages TFG no one will care, cause it will want its secession, I don't know if you are still living in dreamland or playing with me. Do not doubt Puntland's intentions, Faroole made the constitution sound like that of a nation for a purpose. It will be the only option. Puntland has been the only ones in 21 years looking to establish a fair government in Mogadishu, all other attempts failed and we managed to get the TFG through hell for it to succeed. No other entity in Somalia has devoted peace more than Puntland, I challenge you to that. People have had enough and if this constitution which they can't even point out which parts are bad, there's no reason to be in what's known as Somalia. I'd be the last person to float with secession but it is looking like an option to many.

Carafaat;824527 wrote: Somalia is already didived, sxb. Don't know what division you expect more without the constitution? No, there's the TFG where we all meet. You want the TFG to fail for your secessionist state to go, and if it fails Puntland will leave with you, that's what you fundamentally do not understand.
-
It hasn't caused ANYTHING yet, however what you are proposing has caused 20 years of civil war. That's why you don't want peace, waa xaasidnimo la arkin. I am telling you, if the constitution fails, Somalia will be divided up, mark my words. 21 years, Carafaat, 21 years, the kid that was 9 years old is now 30. The same people are being an obstacle today like they were since 1991. Enough is enough.
-
Yes, Puntland which hasn't been touched once in the civil war will suddenly get invaded by a force that can't dispel a few militiamen in Buhoodle. Stop dreaming. You want nothing but misery for the people, it's funny how you didn't object to my statement at all.

The reason why Carafaat, Xaaji and the rest of the secessionists are supporting the failure of federalism and especially the constitution is because if it fails, Somaliland will secede. There's no doubt about it and now people are speculating that Puntland will secede too. I don't blame Puntland for seceding, 21 years of introducing a system of governance to what can only be described in kind 'a differrent' people has been a waste of time and brought the region to its knees. Now there's an alliance coming between the secessionists and warlords to make sure it fails, and I am thinking it will fail. The result will be the secession of Puntland, and southern Somalia in a trusteeship.

Or is it the story about Siilaanyo being a homosexual and married to a partner for 27 years?

It is a terrific article. Similarly, India has started making approaches to get a piece of the Somalia oil. New Delhi has proposed to train the future Somalia army, increased its trade ties with Somalia, and integrated Somalia into its e-network “to prop and increase” Somalia’s IT capacity. British Petroleum, finally, is in talks with the Puntland authorities to gain exploration rights and has already unveiled an initiative to support job-creation projects in the coastal regions of Somalia. Come closer India, come closer.

Now you are just trying to be condescending. Accusing people of lying, then bragging without proof. Go feed your people waryaa instead of embracing moryaanimo.
-
No, you said I "bragged" and now lied, go ahead and prove it.

LOOOOOL So now I lied? Point it out please.
