  7. Showqi;826871 wrote: He sounds non Somali ( I hear a thick accent like Oromo or an Ethiopian man trying to sing a Somali Song). He is trying his best to sound exactly like Maxamed Mooge (AUN) but he can't fool me. I have to give to him that he is very talented and can play the Cuud very well. He is a young Qurbo-joog, Give him a break...He has done good for his level... The way he spells "J" is irritating,,But he will get it right with time..
  8. The fascination is about how it sounds....Fiifti tawsand... Easy to spell but with Dramatic effect on emotions.... History is all lies, the better liars always provide more accurate history. Somalilanders were left behind long time ago in this field but now they are catching up, Everyone lies; Khatumites have exaggerated the Mad mullah, Koonfurians believe in Xaawa taako, Xalane and Dhagax tuur, Puntlanders are Euphoric about Questionable Suldans they Call Boqors...Long foot families always bragging with Cigaal shiidaad and Raage ugaas..Long foot neighbors with the Legends of Wiilwaal....etc..Examples are infinite Just like the Number of Camels owned by Djiboutian natives in Ethiopia.... Kudos to Landers, They made us believe about Genocide (Xasuuqii Somalilander-ska), They even went the extra mile and created Their own heroes (Ibrahim Koodbuur, Axmed dhagax iyo qaar kaloo badan AUN) ... Mujaahidiintii/Mushaahidiintii.... We are in Era in which Somali History is being Written, If you fail in this stage, continuing to exist and matter will be a place of dispute... A man of my village once said in the mid 20th century... "Wixii la qoraa, Quruumo hadhee Muxuu hadal qiimo leeyahay" And I say "Wixii La Yidhee, Youtube-ka galaa, dunidu yaboohini, yuhuuduna rumaysan?!" ......
  9. Ok..I don't believe it, has he taped over the real song,,,, Truly Talented...Superb..Qaraami & oud lives. Xeebtaa Jabuutee Soomaali laga xaday Hadii aan xagaa tagay Ma jabinin xeerkee Maxaa la igu soo xidhay

He use to get kicked out of classes as a kid because he use to correct the teachers. He's the most amazing mathematician I ever come across. He really wows me. I never seen anything like him before mashaAllah. I guess we are talking about the Same father here...LOLZ....He is Known as "Boqolle" because He got 100 in every math test he ever took....Even at University....He read the Whole High school material in 20 days!!! and still got to be the First.. First in University and when sent abroad He was the first...He inspired me so I tried to follow his path although I tried But I am no close to him..At least I got scholarships by my hardwork.....Look at me talking about my father like little girls, Huuno Narniah Ha iga danbaajin intaa wax ka badan....
  14. I don't know by what standards,,I used to have this Flatmate, He was at university (Studying Scientific Specialty) He graduated the first in his batch(more than a 100) he was the most popular guy in the campus not because of his academic achievements but because of his Extra-curricular activities and he excelled in all of them, he was in many associations that I cannot count (He knew University President, Heads of Unions, The Mayor even the Minister of education at one point)....I was living with him in his senior year, He was barely at home only to sleep and studied only the night of the exam.... He was Xaafid and memorized saxiixu bukhaari of axaadiis...More strange You may say any song and he knew it by heart ... Politics he was analysis was always superb...at home chores he was the most active,,, what is more dazzling was his personality,,, I always said He was Maniac.... But People called him Genius....
  15. It may seem offensive,,,,But Somewhere In Somalia (Not mentioning where, attack uma dulqaadan karo) I heard that they have a concept called "Ninku hadii uu Awlaad waayo miyuu waalaal waayay"...Meaning "If he cannot breed by his own , Let his brothers help him" I have seen one lady, Rumors said that she left her Husband in that Specific town after a similar incident..... Her husband was Janaale "In Saudi arabia" his brother came to her and offered himself but she refused and went to her Father in law but he replied with .. "Wuxu saw xoolihii walaalkiis maaha"..She left the town goor aan habeena ahayn dharaarna ahayn....inta aan la sharciyaysan...

When we saw how beautiful and cool you other half was, we declared that she must be mad, to have ended up with you... true story. Ibts, Huuno, you know me better than that.. For example, I've heard a girl say that she preferred a Dr to an accountant and I thought that was ridiculous, esp, as the Dr dude didn't have much of a personality going for him. As pointed by NGONGE Women are MAD,,, Strange and Exotic creatures indeed... Therefore it doesn't matter if the guy has good personality or not, Mid kasta wuu ku wareeri doonaa,,What matters is Stability, Marriage is about stability .... the only thing that keeps those creatures stable is Money....Doctor will have a good supply of it,..... Lacageey, Lacageey, Dadka kala labeeyaay...... Frankly speaking , waa tuma gabadha would not go for a rich guy or a doctor?... None.... Because they mean money...

If I am going to choose something beside Somali dishes,Ethiopian and Arabic would be my choice.... Dhalinyarooy wax ha la cuno waa maalmo kooban dunidye.....

Culturally Somalis Don't like Poultry or Sea food,,I am Talking about the Classical Typical Waranle with his camels,,,There might be variants (e.g Dadka ku nool Kismaayo ilaa muqdisho eat malaay) but I recall once I was in a village on the coast and I have met few senior citizens who were claiming they have never eaten Fish and they lived by the shore all through their lifetimes.... it was referred as to "Inferior food" same as "rabbits, Gazelles, Dikdik etc or Hunting generally" ... There was this drought "abaar" people have eaten rabbits and dikdik "Sagaaro" to stay alive guess what was the name of that drought "Abaartii bakayl-qalad" .... On poultry, I will qoute a song by the somali lo' jir "Cowboys" sing when they take their cattle to the well.... Kaalintaan dago een darka ahayn hadaan doorsado inta duushiyo duufka maan cuno he is comparing eating poultry to eating the stinking dead...
