Juxa, Ngonge is not a business man. He tried opening a Shisha cafe the day the smoking ban came in Played footy and ankle managed to hold up. Scored a few as well

This is a nice website - www.dailyburn.com

CL She was obviously putting on a show for his mum. Edit Juxa, it is perfectly normal to expect a woman to cook for her husband and if she does it then that is expected of her. Just like a man is expected to bring home the cash. All this stuff aad iskugu sheekeesaan waaban la yaabaa. Have a good weekend folks. Don't marry a man who expects you to cook
-
Juxa, the point is she basically cooked for him (perfectly normal and more importantly expected). Your problem is with where she chose to do the cutting (maybe wrong on her part) but her cooking is perfectly normal. No need to brush all men as bad for something a woman did wrong
-
^sounds like you guys have a problem with WHERE she did the cutting rather than WHAT she did.
-
So let me get this right. She cooked for him. She cooked for him and asked if he wanted more chicken to be thrown in? Scandalous! CL, were you all in the kitchen at the time?
-
You seem to have a very good memory to take all that in A&Tow Welcome back.

Imagine how she would react if they actually win it Good luck to Arsenal. I don't see them wiining it but good luck anyway.

LFC did well. No passing whatsoever but the result was the important thing. Rafa got it right for once. Deggen got mashed up last night

Mountains, what is their function? Clouds, what do they produce? Plants, how do they grow? Sun, why does it rise and fall everyday? Did all this just happen? All in sync with each other? Who synchronised it all? Great engineering by the way

The lighter skinned South Asian call the darker ones and the Africans ("kaala" or the more derogatory "kaaliya"). The Arabs calls the darker one's "Aswad" which in itself isn't derogatory but you also hear "Abu/Umm Al Aswad"... other use the milder "Asmar" to refer to darker skinned people. What astonishes me, and Nor you can pitch in since you're there at the moment, is the racism pertaining to professional capabilities. The Arabs there value the input of a Western person than the input of a similarly qualified person of darker skin, whether or not they hold Western passport/education. I'm sure Peacenow has smelled this conversation and will pop in any moment now What do people think about racism amongst the Arab "brethren"? Can’t say I can relate to the first paragraph as I didn’t grow up here and haven’t heard anything along those lines uttered by the few Arabs that I do know. Arabs (Khaliijis, Masaaris and Shamis) seem to have a level of respect for Somalis. Particularly the older generation. Also, Arabs won’t grab their purse when they see you board the bus or train (yes we have a new metro system here but don’t tell Peacenow). That’s probably because of the relatively low crime rates and harsh punishments. Umm, I’m not too sure about your second paragraph either as I haven’t really worked with or for Arabs. However, what I have experienced and still do experience is the western expat professionals who are surprised at one’s half decent grasp of the English language (often better than theirs). One thing I will say is that westerners have more room to say what they want here. Some of the stuff you hear people discussing and the way they act, you would never hear or see in an office environment in the west. Certainly is an interesting place to live and work when you’ve lived in the west as well.

^Repeating the same lines without anything in the way of PROOF then wondering why people disagree is called reasoning by an educated adult miya?

A couple of miles north of my house is Stamford Hill, an area of North London popular with orthodox Jews. Big bushy beards, thick specs, oversized black hats, plus the women are fond of wigs. I have to tell you Nige, their faces are pretty well covered, it’s hard to say who’s who under all that gear, all that hair. What shall we do? Ban the big hats? The specs? Best be on the safe side, best chop those big beards off as well, like the Nazis did with the rabbis on Kristallnacht.

Originally posted by NGONGE: Airplanes in the park Today, I saw an airplane. I can’t tell what airline it was. I was walking in the park and the airplane was far away in the sky. I kept on walking while looking up and trying to work out what country that plane belongs to. I then noticed that the plane wasn’t going that fast. I knew it was going really fast but to my naked eye it didn’t seem as if it was! I lowered my head and looked ahead. The park was almost empty and my path forward was clear. I looked up at the airplane and noticed that it was a “couple of meters†ahead of me. I looked ahead again then looked up at the plane. I started running and looking up at the plane. I almost caught up with it. I started thinking of the Olympics. I should have been at the Olympics! I started thinking of running the 100 meters in Athens. Is there enough time left for me to make it there? Could I win it? Of course I could. I’ve just beaten a plane, man. What’s the speed of mere mortals when compared to a 747? I started dreaming of lining up against world record holders and wanna bees. I knew I had the beating of all of them. I started thinking of my preparations for the race. I’ll need to work on my running style. I’ll need to stick to my lane. I’ll need to know how to get out of the blocks quickly enough. Aaah! Blocks? I had no blocks when I beat the plane. Aaah, plane? What are the chances of a plane flying past just as the gun goes at the start of the Olympic 100 meter final? I decided to run the marathon instead. Do you run the marathon saxib?
