Actually, this identity malfunction was my topic of interest a few nights ago. What I wondered about is, 'could there really a Somali 'character' currently living that is anchored securely to an organic Somaliness that is least affected by external cultural erosions?' Couldn't think of one naturally. And to be quite honest, I don't see the point in extending the lineage of current Somaliness when its essence is already lost?
