  1. ^It never sat well with me to have the 'E' seen as a normal varient of Somali politics. As for others, we shall see indeed.
  2. I think there'll definately be one since the 'E' factor surely infuriates many, including myself. Anything but.
  3. ^Taasaa is weydiin leh, KK. Mindhaa murtiduusan qeexin.
  4. ^ Yes, very good wadani songs baa la qaadey berigaa. Like this one, Juxa. I get jerky eyes when I listen to it everytime. My alarm wakes me up with Qalinle's patriotic declaration every morn. Ciil weynaa aduunyadu!
  5. ^ Ninkii dhoof ku yimibaa Geeridu dhibeeysaa Wakhtigii dhamaayoo Wuu dhaqaaqi doonaa It was an old Wadani by Waaberi - composed by Sangub - an anti song for Ethiopians. One of the songs the Barre-Mengistu agreement passed not to be broadcast to Ethiopia, and Ethiopia likewise no similar songs to Somalia. PS: And Sangub is from Somali galbeed though born? and bred in Hargeysa.
  6. Juxa, I like your medicinal remedies beryahan. Mar waa shaah marna waa cheese. Hunguri ayaad nagu rideeysaa. "10 - Heesta ku magac dheer BEERLULA yaa allifey ee uu xasan aadan samatar qaadey?" That's very telling, isn't it?

^Some rockstars are big in Japan but you my dear Siren are big in fantasies. You like it too. Such vanity!
  10. ^Lol@KK ku jecliyaa walaaleey. You're a gem of character, as always. Nuune, Gheele iyo KK, maya. Perhaps I am thinking too far ahead of myself. The matter is not the message - what in may in minds many years from today.
  11. Then you know. Most might think it sinister.
  12. No PMs. I posted something SOL's not yet ready for. They're good folks afterall.

    Bloody Women!

Malika, lol. Who needs a heart anyway? It's a useless organ.
  14. Promise to read it, IA. Reads well in the first few lines but I'm out of time. I see 'The wealth & poverty of nations' as one of his references, so the man definately knows a thing or two about the subject matter. Thanks for the links. A substance, at last.
  15. Mashaaiqdu dee siyaaro ayeey Luuq iyo Beled Xaawaba ku tageen. La muskillah! Here is how it's done:
  16. ^Observer, thanks adeer. I understand the importance of the current subject you intend to research, and to be frank, my grandfather was one of those who had to leave the North when Sayidka was fighting. But I can't provide you with precise information with regards to his migration - the books on the subject (and indepth tracing on the origins of the Somalis) which my grandfather and his son have written are now lost. Some borrowed by enthusiasts and not returned and others simply disappeared. I might take on that project of writing. But not now. Other subjects interest currently.
  17. ^J, thank you sxboow. Tol baa tahay. Siren, thanks my love.
  18. C'mon now, where are the thought leaders again? Enlighten us, will you?
