  1. ^ You, my friend, are incorrect. This air-control department won't be from any other federal agency, department or ministry. I will give you a simple example that already exists. In Puntland, the federal government has department that issues Somali passports. Now you may say Puntland manages it, but at the end of the day it is their by the auspices and legitimacy of the federal government. How is that going to be any different from the air-control being set up in Hargaysa? None, whatsoever. I keep telling you guys, many other federal institutions will be heading to different parts of Somalia, including the north.

The list of this banner includes some of the political heavy weights of Somaliland. Former Finance Minister, former Vice-President, former SNM military leaders, inteelectuals. Parliament in Somaliland Parliament has failed to do its jobs of controlling the goverments and its actionss/policies. It approves most crucial descinions without much debate, thats why the opposition and critical sounds have organized themselves in order to protest the goverments policies, specially the talks between Somalia and Somaliland. Carafaat, I think Faisal is just taking the piss here...he isn't opposed to the talks, he's just mad he isn't one of the representatives...he knows Mogadishu will handing over alot of goodies to Somaliland and he wants to be the middleman and of course a cut...
  3. ^ Nasty minded individual like yourself should not take my figure of speech literally... If such promiscuity is your cup of tea in your personal life, don't bring your bedroom stories this forum:D
  4. Great news...lets get more jobs and opportunity into the country.
  5. ^ Rubbish. I will repeat for the millionth time, this Somali Federal Agency for aviation will set up shop in Hargaysa. The expenditure of the revenue collected by this agency will be determined by national law set by the federal parliament in Mogadishu. You, my friend, are attempting to grasp thin air. This agency is the first of many other federal agencies which will be established in deferent parts of Somalia, as set for by the federal constitution of Somalia. You keep talking your nonsense, but these facts will remain the same.
  6. I can't make heads or tales out of this alphabet soup you just spewed. None of anything you wrote is based on reality. As usual, you huffing and puffing nonsense nobody understands. So try to do it all over again. Maybe we will be pick a nugget of sense we could reply to...
  7. ^ Rubbish. All of Hag don't want centalism and in fact the hag communities of the central regions are working on establishing a federal state of their own. So as usual you spewing hogwash and catrabaqash. And for your information, federalism is not about anyone clan dominating another. It's about the decentralization of governance to the local levels where before everything was run out of Mogadishu, people now believe it is better for government to be closer to people through the regional and provincial level. Federalism is the only form of governance that will ensure that all Somalis get what is rightfully theirs, including the scornful habro of the marqaan enclave in the north of the country who have been going nuts over secession.
  8. ^ Nonsense. The revenue generated will belong to ALL of Somalia, which will later be equally shared by Somalis through statutes set by the federal parliament in Mogadishu. This aviation agency is a federal institution, and will serve the nation through legislation set by the federal parliament. As I said previously, you can try to shun reality all you wish but at the end of the day Somaliland agreeing to a federal Somali Government agency in Hargaysa, is the first right step towards bringing the scornful habro of north back to the fold of the warm embrace of Mother Somalia.
  9. ^ We, the people of Somalia, refuse to sign your divorce papers for you. So what you gonna besides moan and whine and pout you lips like you've be doing these last twenty years. The Ankara talks are nothing more than a troublesome husband(Somalia) trying to make amends with a naggy wife(Somaliland). And we are grateful that you've accepted our flowers(air-control station). There's more of where that came from, like diamonds and pearls, so demented wife, accept our sincere apologies.

I approve of these statements o wise one. Heck, I even feel proud that your cranium is capable of dishing out such truths. And to be outdone, why don't you add to the list my pirate king, Mr.Faroole ...
  11. Saalax;967917 wrote: That is because Omar Mukhtaar's long struggle was more genuine. Sayid was involved in too much inter clan fights and raids. I agree, the mighty Sayyid was too preoccupied b!tchslapping the sh!t out of the Colonial British and their concubine habros in the north. Omar Mukhtaar, was a Somali hero too.
  12. ^ So on your side a body of Somaliland "officials" under Somaliland aviation will take control of the air space of Somalia? Hmmmm, what you been smoking son?-because I want to take a hit.

  14. Illyria;967895 wrote: So much misinformation in these passages you just penned, but that does not interest me today. Prior to 1840, there were no such thing as 'both countries'. there were no two countries. there was the land of Somalis - one inhabited related and connected tribes from one corner to the other, fully knowing who was who, who resided where, and from what well(s) each tribe went for its water rationing. The land was demarcated along nomad, clan, and pastoral lines, and still is with some adjustments. No different from the English shires before the Norman Conquest. The idea is to get you acknowledge the land and the people have always been Somalis, and their history and culture did not begin with the colonisers. They were, and shall be. We (Somalis) fought against colonial legacy, shed blood for the land, and refused colonial indoctrination. We cannot be proud of it, and it might be part of our dark history, but we refuse to use it as guiding light to shape our future, or principles to die by, or principal reference in political conversations. You, on the other hand, were on the opposite side of that history for a while, and are still adamant. is the argument clear now? Hear, hear! But then again, you're preaching to someone who shuts his eyes and plugs his ears with his fingers... Illyria, ha ku daalin ku waan....saddex baanu ku qabnaa--they aint going nowhere.
  15. ^ O wise one, don't make me regret calling you wise in the first place. You asked me why I was against that law, correct? I replied, how did you surmise that I was against that law? I believe you haven't answered that question, but instead you jumped on a totally different bandwagon about me being anti-SL.. I wanna say, what the hell dude? Are you turning to some sort of mini-Xaaji Xunduf. He is usually the one who can't remain cogent during a discussion. P.S The last I checked, the dictates of Xeer Ciise didn't apply to the habro-- so you attempted use of the customs of a noble Somali people in here to come to the aid of the hapless Xaaji Habaar is indeed futile:D

Naxar Nugaaleed;967852 wrote: What kinda negotiating team did Somalia send to Istanbul? they gave some they didn't have too, airspace control , and got nothing in return. they could've at least demanded free passage. They agreed upon a joint committee being established whose task is to revert air-control duties back to Somalia from UN control. This joint committee, when successful, will then build their HQ in Hargaysa. As for free passage, I personally believe it isn't that important because it only affects a few Fed officials from Somaliland who want to go back to Hargaysa for vacation. I also believe this will eventually be accepted by Somaliland in future talks, because it isn't a major issue.

Laakin ha u baqan wanu ka matajinayna waxad uurka ku sidatid. Somalinimo has already being compromised you dont even know it, if you use xabashis to kill your fellow Somalis you have compromised on Somalinimo. If you use Kenyans to destroy the lives of other Somalis you have compromised on Somalinimo. Mala you believe Somalinimo is singing first of July songs in the open but behind the curtains all the time plotting to annihilate each other that is not Somalinimo, Aniguna iftiinka waan ku iifinyaa kooxda budhcad badeedka and their Fitno. If only I could decipher gibberish, but alas Xaaji Habaar, I cannot. So you will have to excuse me if I don't pay any attention to it. While I know it is a difficult and momentous challenge to placate a scorned habar, the minister of interior of Somalia will try his best to do so on behalf of all Somalis everywhere. I hope that, like him, I will have the patience and fortitude necessary as I do the same on SOL. I know I will have tough customers in the form of Xaaji Habaar and others, but it is a duty I will not waver from. With resolute determination I shall work to appease and console the resident habro of SOL as these talks progress, and insha Allah, there will come the day when I put their buffoonery about secession out of their minds. Wa billahi Tawfiiq.
  18. Carafaat;967838 wrote: Tillamook, I am glad to hear that saxiib. I thing this is a positive step for the Somali people. It shows political maturity, that Somalis can compromise and the start of consensus building. Hope this continues in all directions. Xaaji Xunjuf waa caadi ina ku tuftid, markaas ayee odayga ugu baxdaa. Insha Allah it will continue. Ultimately, it is all about politics. The political elites of Somaliland always wanted a fair share of what belongs them, unlike the days of the dictatorship. Insha Allah, everything that is rightfully theirs, AND ONLY THEIRS, will be given to them and they will rejoin the rank and file of the Somali people. As for Xaajiga, odeygu hal cillad buu leeyahay...mar walba aad la doodid wuxuu kula aadayaa Siberia iyo wax aan loo joogin:D

You keep talking about the supposed beef between reer Muqdisho and the pirates as some sort of hell on earth. As I said to you many times before, if only you could get it through your thick skull, that we are merely jostling for political power. Nothing more and nothing less. Just because the pirates oppose the political policies of the reer Muqdisho or vice versa, that does not mean we will pout our mouths and say we want to secede. We Fight when we fight, and we make peace when we have to. That's the way it's been for ages between these two groups. Now, as for the secessionist troglodytes of the north, who have never seen conflict in their lives and who up to this day still hold a grudge about a few bombs being dropped on their heads some 20 odd years ago, I wish I could say the same. Now, go crawl back under that rock, for I'm sure the light of truth hurts your eyes!
  22. ^ Ramadan Kariim saaxiib. Walahi warkaan aad baan ugu farxay waayo waxaan ogaadey in Silanyo diyaar u yahay inuu magdhow intuu qaato dadkiisa dhinac uu ka raaco. Marka waxaan leeyahay hayadaha dawllada oo Xamar jooga ha loo raro Hargaysa sida loogu maslaxo reer Somaliland. P.S Don't take my thrashing of Xunjuf too serious!
