malistar, niyoow puntland objection is that HAG is using 1.5 state to form a federal state and they want to leave Hiiraan, shabelaha dhexe as another federal state and then mogadishu as a federal state of its own. that is not going to happen. but some people are saying HAG intention is to claim all mudug districts but i don't think they are really that dumb because we all know that is just not remotely possible. the only thing they can try is to confuse the name Mudug. either way, the name mudug should not have been used in the signing document. it should have been South Mudug. Puntland will not allow HAG to form three federal states niyoow. it not going to happen. puntland would have accepted this framework: South Mudug Galgaduud Northerern Hiiraan (matabaan is district part of hiran but population is Xasan Dahir Aweys family).
