  1. Macaan, no wonder why I loved're so humble....masha-allah...keep your head up sis...and always remember this: "Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy Friend and intimate"! 41:34 Salaamz
  2. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But if you just let it fly, it will come to you when you least expect it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ^^^Strongly beleive in that. 3. Eternal Question of LOVE . . . 1.To My Friends Who Are - SINGLE Love is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it eludes you. But if you just let it fly, it will come to you when you least expect it. Love can make you happy but often it hurts, but love's only special when you give it to someone who is really worth it. So take your time and choose the best. 2.To My Friends Who Are - NOT SO SINGLE Love isn't about becoming somebody else's "perfect person." It's about finding someone who helps you become the best person you can be. 3.To My Friends Who Are - PLAYBOY/GIRL TYPE Never say "I love you" if you don't care. Never talk about feelings if they aren't there. Never touch a life if you mean to break a heart. Never look in the eye when all you do is lie. The cruelest thing a guy can do to a girl is to let her fall in love when he doesn't intend to catch her fall and it works both ways... 4.To My Friends Who Are - MARRIED Love is not about "it's your fault", but "I'm sorry." Not "where are you", but "I'm right here." Not "how could you", but "I understand." Not "I wish you were", but "I'm thankful you are." 5.To My Friends Who Are - ENGAGED The true measure of compatibility is not the years spent together but how good you are for each other. 6.To My Friends Who Are - HEARTBROKEN Heartbreaks last as long as you want and cut as deep as you allow them to go. The challenge is not how to survive heartbreaks but to learn from them . 7.To My Friends Who Are - NAIVE How to be in love: Fall but don't stumble, be consistent but not too persistent, share and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand, and get hurt but never keep the pain. 8.To My Friends Who Are - POSSESSIVE It breaks your heart to see the one you love happy with someone else but it's more painful to know that the one you love is unhappy with you. 9.To My Friends Who Are - AFRAID TO CONFESS Love hurts when you break up with someone. It hurts even more when someone breaks up with you. But love hurts the most when the person you Love has no idea how you feel. . . 10.To My Friends Who Are - STILL HOLDING ON A sad thing about life is when you meet someone and fall in love, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and that you have wasted years on someone who wasn't worth it. If he/she isn't worth it now he's/She's not going to be worth it a year or 10 years from now. Let go . . . 11.TO ALL MY FRIENDS . . . My wish for you is a man/women whose love is honest, strong ,mature ,never-changing, uplifting, protective, encouraging, rewarding and unselfish.
  4. Assalaamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu Imagine yourself after you pass away Imagine your grave through night and through day Wishing that you did not do as they say Wishing that you had got up and had prayed. Imagine, my friends, the day that you died Imagine all of the tears that they cried Remember how it felt when your body was tied Remember how it felt in the grave which you lied. Imagine the day you'll be called to account Imagine the sum to which your life will amount Think for a moment of the deeds which you mount Think for a moment how much they will count. What will they say of you when you are dead? What will they say, what will be said? Will they speak of all the poor who you fed? Will they remember all the Qu'raan that you read? Think not of them, but of Allaah, Lord of mankind and jinn Think of Allaah when tempted to sin Think of the paradise which you will dwell in Don't wait till later to think what might have been. 9. Unfolding the Rose A young, new ustadh (teacher) was walking with an older, more seasoned ustadh (teacher) in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what Allah had for him to do, he was asking the older ustadh for some advice. The older ustadh walked up to a rosebush and handed the young ustadh a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals. The young ustadh looked in disbelief at the older ustadh and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of Allah for his life and ministry. But because of his great respect for the older ustadh, he proceeded to try to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact... It wasn't long before he realized how impossible this was to do. Noticing the younger ustadh's inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older ustadh began to recite the following poem... It is only a tiny rosebud, A flower of Allah's design; But I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsy hands of mine. The secret of unfolding flowers Is not known to such as I. ALLAH opens this flower so sweetly, Then in my hands they die. If I cannot unfold a rosebud, This flower of Allah's design, Then how can I have the wisdom To unfold this life of mine? So I'll trust in Allah for leading Each moment of my day. I will look to Allah for His guidance Each step of the way. The pathway that lies before me, Only Allah knows. I'll trust Him to unfold the moments, Just as He unfolds the rose.

  17. Guest: "Why does your dog sit there and watch me eat?" Hotel Host: "I can't imagine, unless it's because you have the plate he usually eats from." A guy phones up his Boss, but gets the bosses' wife instead: "I'm afraid he died last week." she explains. The next day the man calls again and asks for the boss. "I told you" the wife replies, "he died last week." The next day he calls again and once more asks to speak to his boss. By this time the wife is getting upset and shouts: "I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU TWICE, MY HUSBAND, YOUR BOSS, DIED LAST WEEK! WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING?" "Coz . . ." he replied laughing, "I just love hearing it. . . ." SURD: "Excuse me sir, what time is it?" MAN: "It's 3:15." SURD: (puzzled look on his face) "You know, it's the weirdest thing, I have been asking that question all day, and each time I get a different answer." One day a man was going on the street. He met a man who asked him what had happened to his ears as both ears covered with bandages. He said: "I was ironing my clothes when the phone bell rang. Instead of picking up the phone, i pick up the iron, so i burnt my ear." The man asked "So what happened to your other ear?" He said "That same ****** guy called again" This one little boy in about 4th or 5th grade was trying out for a school play. He earned a part and went home to tell his father. His father was really proud of him. So his father asks what part did you get? He replies I got the part of a man who has been married for 25 years. His father congratulated him. And then he said "That's good son, maybe next time you'll get a talking role!" Teacher : Which is more important to us, the sun or the moon? Pupil: Moon... Teacher : Why? Pupil : The moon gives us light at night when we need it but the sun gives us light only in the day time when we don't need it. My kids love going to the Web, and they keep track of their passwords by writing them on Post-it notes. I noticed their Disney password was "MickeyMinnieGoofyPluto," and asked why it was so long. 18. Definition of Outdoor Barbecuing It's the only type of cooking a real man will do. When a man volunteers to do such cooking, the following chain of events is put into motion. 1. The woman goes to the store. 2. The woman fixes the salad, vegetables, and dessert. 3. The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils, and takes it to the man, who is lounging beside the grill, drinking pepsi. 4. The man places the meat on the grill. 5. The woman goes inside to set the table and check the vegetables. 6. The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. 7. The man takes the meat off the grill and hands it to the woman. 8. The woman prepares the plates and brings them to the table. 9. After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes. 10. The man asks the woman how she enjoyed her night off. And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no way of pleasing some women. lol
  19. The Veil They say, "Oh, poor girl, you're so beautiful you know It's a shame that you cover up your beauty so." She just smiles and graciously responds reassuringly, "This beauty that I have is just one simple part of me. This body that I have, no stranger has the right to see. These long clothes, this shawl I wear, ensure my modesty. Faith is more essential than fashion, wouldn't you agree?" This hijab, This mark of piety, Is an act of faith, a symbol, For all the world to see. A simple cloth, to protect her dignity. So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity. They tell her, "Girl, don't you know this is the West and you are free? You don't need to be oppressed, ashamed of your femininity." She just shakes her head and she speaks so assuredly, "See the bill-boards and the magazines that line the check-out isles, with their phony painted faces and their air-brushed smiles? Well their sheer clothes and low cut gowns they are really not for me. You call it freedom, I call it anarchy." This hijab, This mark of piety, Is an act of faith, a symbol, For all the world to see. A simple cloth, to protect her dignity. So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity. Lift the veil from your heart and seek the heart of purity. --------------------------------------------------- BY: Dawud Wharnsby Ali

  21. A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape ... but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape... A strong woman isn't afraid of anything ... but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear... A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her ... but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone... A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future... a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them... A strong woman walks sure footedly ... but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls... A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face ... but a woman of strength wears the look of grace... A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey ... but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...
  22. There was a blind man who decided to visit Texas. When he arrived on the plane, he felt the seats and said, "Wow, these seats are big!" The person next to him answered, "Everything is big in Texas." When he finally arrived in Texas, he decided to visit a bar. Upon arriving in the bar, he ordered a beer and got a mug placed between his hands. He exclaimed, "Wow these mugs are big!" The bartender replied, "Everything is big in Texas." After a couple of beers, the blind man asked the bartender where the bathroom was located. The bartender replied, "Second door to the right." The blind man headed for the bathroom, but accidentally tripped over and skipped the second door. Instead, he entered the third door, which lead to the swimming pool and fell into the pool by accident. Scared to death, the blind man started shouting, "Don't flush, don't flush!" Just when I got all the answers of LIFE they changed the question...

Children are the best gift Allah can give us wallah and I agree with you sisters, it is sad that these girls don't wanna have kids, because of such a lame excuses subhana-allah. __________________________________________________ Plus Adopting is against our religion...for those of you who didn't know...!! __________________________________________________ Sister, only in the sense that you give them your name instead of their real parents name...that is what is haraam, not the fact that you can raise a child and treat it like they were urs....but it is haraam if you hide the fact that they're not urs and u give them ur name , "... Nor has He made your adopted sons your (real) sons; that is simply a saying of your mouths. But Allah speaks the truth, and He guides you to the (right way). Call them by (the names of their fathers; that is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers, they are your brothers-in-faith and your wards... " (Quran 33:4-5)
