I have different point of few. Rooble is motivated by money. Before he was appointed Rooble had small shop in Kenya. He was a little poor man with many children's. He hoped to be rich soon like anybody in Moqdish. That did not happened. The government does not have money but Bayle is still able to buy the salaries. He just panicked knowing he may not come back. He started working with Farmaajo oppositions to fill his empty bag. First the Kenya deal did not worked as well, than the Cairo visit did not brought any money either, Sisi never met him. He tried Saudi Arabia and it did not work either. Finally Ikram case was the last opportunity and it may worked well for him for the money he was after. Fahad was probably able to bring a check some how.
If this is settled the way media reported. It is going to be big win for Farmaajo team and big lost for the old group. The old group that was benefiting the system for the last 22 years, see their role and advantage diminish as long Farmaajo around and they gone fight him every way possible. From the elites of SSDF to clan Malesia in south west accupying the farm land are afraid as their role continue diminish as others make gains. This is very much battle of resources for those who got most of it and others who want their share.

Basically controlling and tracking the money, is one more step forward building national security. The southern part of the country is largely stabilizing slowly. Another four years of Bayle and Farmaajo team will definitely bring even more progress.

Somalia is struggling to rebuild after 20 years of civil war and is still battling an insurgency by al-Shabab. -
it does not have to be Alshabaab taking advantage. As other mentions they are not Taliban rather gangs who collects money to support themselves. However, without salary not paid the cause will start day one. If the foreign cash support dries and SNA will not be paid things could change rapidly. The west already stopped any direct money going to Somali government 12 months ago with Farmaajo disagreement. Thanks Turkey 30 millions cash flow and Bayle tricks the salary is paid now. the local revenue which is about 40% of government budgets is simply not enough for the currupted ministers alone. The reason of rapid Taliban advance was due, the government soldiers did not get paid for months. The west decided to leave for many reasons but was hoping a civil war in Afghanistan but it back fired. The new taliban will be able secure Aghanistan even without foreign assistant that scenario scares the west. Siyaad Barre government collapsed for same reason. After fall of soviet union, the west and golf countries were not sending any more money to moqdisho and with new leader in UAE, the biggest donor by time, things ended badly. Somalia state will not survive without creating local revenue enough for paying salary either today or tomorrow. This issue the colonial powers were talking about in 1950 and 1960 when SYL was fighting for independent Somali. Unfortunately Somali politicians disappointed Somali people again and again going easy route asking foreigners for donations in return to offer Somalia strategic potion. Going forward somali government must create local revenue enough for paying salaries at least. Bayle is right person to lead that direction but no one will listen as corruption is a culture in Somalia.

They were also 100% sponsored EU to produce women candidate but Zero elected. With that level of clannish business women candidates do not have any chance. Biixi candidate was suppose to win even losing the election. But last minute one of his clan man voted the party line.

The two men who are candidates are cousins from Sool but the competition of Habro tribes in the house is priceless. The unfairness in front of camera is unimaginable. No organization and nothing works. I always though Northern are better organizers but disappointed by the Habro tribes action again.

I do not think the Aqal sare is that important for the next election, it is only small fraction overall seats. Qoor Qoor will cash it unlike the others so far. He will not do anything for loyalty without money. 85% of all members will not come back anyway. This will make more interesting for the election and when they all come to Xamar, they will not have any loyalty what so ever. Each one will have four years to cash it. If a lot of money not coming from UAE, the game will be over the first round.

Even the state of MN we live in does not have a state bank as far as federal system goes. they do have state revenue department which collects taxes and in ways can be considered a bank but it is not bank. By the way all the state accounts are under the federal bank which they call treasury department which is a federal level. Deni is seriously looking the lost PM in wrong places and we doomed until he finds the lost PM.

There is no single world that, I do not know it is meaning but to understand the whole poem can be challenged. I have to agree the af mayamay is much more easier to understand in writing form. If you lived, grow up westside Somalia or if you ever read old Somali poems like Raage Ugaas, even Sayid Mohamed, this poem will not be difficult to understand for you. So somehow the Maymay community was either isolated for a while for outside influence or kept this version of Somali long time. In the small community of Baraawe, they also was able to keep very different local language.

On the issue of land mass, It was a figurative speech. It might be hard to define exactly which is bigger, but eyes don't lie. My argument is how Berbera (Saaxil) could have the same seats as Sanaag or just less than two of Sool which is ten times bigger than Berbera in terms of land mass and six major districts.

In 1960 H group occupied 55% of north Somalia. Today it probably close 45% of north Somalia. The Habro had made some huge gains from Burco, Caynabo , Ceel afwayn, Ceerigaabo and even Buuhoodle district but still Habro group only accupied 35% of north from 20% in 1900 when UE arrived. The creation of Putland did not help the north H group. The northern H group never had problem dealing the Habro group before alone. As long as putland claims northern H group I see the problem for H northern group.

No place in the world voter registration can increase over 60% in five years. However the percentage of increase is wrongly calculated. for example Awdal has 43,348 increased registration by 2021, divided by 2017 registration numbers 102,571. You got 42% increase but board is claiming 70%.
According to this data Somaliland has 1,065,847 registered voters. We know that in general 70% of somali people are under 20 years or 15 years. Even one adult 4 children will put somaliland population above 5, 000, 000 people. This fake data

Interesting. Farmaajo is back in big time with help of Rooble. Now he takes his moment and a good start for his reelection compain.

The opposition have 60 days now to regroup and present their front runner. Only a new commer can beat Farmaajo and the old team never gave a chance for the new people to present themself. This is their biggest mistake. They came short of damaging Farmaajo politically. He successfully out played them. After eight month when IC stopped their donations, he is still able to pay the salaries. It is very hard to see him losing now. Maintaining the status que is not option for Somali people.

You are blaming others but your ideas and method are the worst. Why not just ask your team to volunteer to remove themself from the process. I guarantee not only Somalia but the whole world will be peaceful with a second.
Now, this is all about dividing the delegates who managing the selection process. In the Baydhabo agreement, Hashi was given 4, and there should be no discussion about it. Hashi may not even get a lower house seat, the way DrR divides seats, his small tribe is not awarded lower house seats at all. He can only be selected the upper house as an old gentleman. DrR tribes know how to divide their seats and there is no room for Deni and others to interfere.

Palastine and Israel is very small country. Talafiid is 120km from Gaza and 40Km from West Bank. Without peace no one will be safe anymore. The idea that Isreal can provide security it’s population alone is outdated.

We do not have any bigger national problem than this. These few clan melesia driving the national army trucks are real problem. This is what Xasan skeikh left and they want to maintain the status que. it is like being the yuhuudii soomali.
