The situation is not all good for Cheeseman.

Once the powers that be realise how useless this man is, they will cut him off like they done to Col. Yey. It was Jandeya Frazer that delivered the bad news to Col. Yey while on transit in Jomo Kenyatta Airports. He broke down in tears.

Given the elaborate program that the IC wants done in the next few years, including "nation wide" voter registration in 12 months... and the fact that Cheeseman has burn a lot of bridges in terms of building on goodwill and reconciliation process... I wouldn't be all surprised at all if the IC has come to the conclusion that Cheeseman is not the right man for that job and if he is being told to step aside.

Haha. i know the feeble secessionists never recovered from their idol biixi crying on live video in front of women, but can you provide a video of the uncle Yeey crying at the airport? hahaha. Yeey had more honor and self worth than all your past treasonous secessionist leaders.

you are doomed forever niyoow if all you can fabricate is this about a dead man. you have no honor niyoow ee leave the dead alone and stop the fake propaganda to score political points.

focus on what MMA posted niyoow which is that US senator is meeting with President of Somalia. Toloow maxay ka wada hadleen. lol. UAE?

oodwyene, there are no better stooges than the ones who are dismembering the country and would do anything, I mean anything  (UAE, Ethiopia, Jinni, whatever) to realize their goal of a divided Somalia. niyoow it is no secret Yeey's govement was helped by IGAD army which Ethiopia was the backbone at the time. he brought the Somali national government to Mogadishu and the rest is history niyoow. you see its fruits today.  he wanted somalia to rise from the ashes and it is his legacy that we have a government functioning in mogadishu today. he was a somali nationalist of the highest caliber. Yeey never wanted to give an inch of Somalia away to anyone. never. ever.

Watch why Yeey never made alliance with the SNM during siyaad barre's time. he believed in a united Somalia deeply. the worst stooges in somalia are the ones who say wiil addis jooga ayaa iiga dhow kan muqdisho jooga.

don't get me started wagash boy.

haha. nin waalan. now he is talking about Tukaraq. niyoow walahi you are man-child. like I said to you the other day, there has never ever been a day or a night where your Jeegaan ever defeated the Eagle clan in battle. It has never been recorded in the history of minkind niyoow. Lascanod and Tukaraq story is Sool Clan story. these are my cousins and are part and parcel of Puntland but some of them are paid by the secessionists and have take land from their other cousins. The Eagle clan has its land. we are proud people. we are the only people you fear in Somalia. all your politics in hargeisa is all about how to defeat the Eagle clan because that is the only clan that is standing in the way of you wagash boys achieving your dream of dismembering somalia.

talk is cheap niyoow.

As for Yeey, listen to me carefully niyoow. Yeey resigned to make way for others like a proud man. did you read that? He did the honorable thing to let others lead.  Position was never a bid deal for him niyoow like it is for your jeegaan siilanyo who kept extending his term till he was 120 years old. Yeey was a proud man. the day he was elected, he told parliament MPs that if he doesn't get things right within the time frame he had in mind, he would GIVE THE PRESIDENCY BACK TO PARLIAMENT. it is all in youtube niyoow, recorded. it is history.  That is exactly what Yeey did. That is Somali honor. he could have resisted, fought back, complained, blah blah. He did none of that. Woooof. He was gone like gob. That is the first time in Somali history that a President resigned in a country where the likes of Siilanyo from your clan enclave extend their time year after year until they become senile.

have some shame niyoow. isku xishood and leave the dead alone.

You are full throtle on this one. I don't blame you, but your brakes are faulty. You could not stop and went to the cliff on late Yey.

Here is what happened:

From wikileaks we learned that the US was not supportive of Yey, but was supportive of what ever was in Mogadishu

The Americans had access to Yey phone and heard every nationalist ferver the man had.

Ms. Fraser herself spoke at death of Mr. Zenawi that she asked him why he is supporting Yey and he told her Yey will put Somalia back and problem of terrorism, irridentism, security issues for Ethiopia would all go away.

What she told Yey was that he should stay in Baidao until negociation with ICU and others is completed...forever or until ICU Shabab come and get him, which they tried and his brother was killed by car bomb.

I am sure you know or can remember she was in Baidoa in person.

As much as we debate about past politicians, there is something unique about the old generation of Somali politicians that is quite missing in today's generation. It is refreshing to hear young rebel leader with the audacity to tell powerful Mengistu to his face that Somalia is indivisible, after all others declined to go on record. Somali's territory is indeed sacred.

Watch this fascinating clip.

At the end of the day, the man and his generation left Somalia in ruins. They went to Ethiopia to wage against their country just so they get power. They didn't fight for the interest of the Somali people. They were masiibo lasoo direy.

And whatever his initial goal might have been, Abdullahi Yusuf led Ethiopia to Xamar, sad end to his life.

I think it is the other way around. The Somali rebels wanted to free the country from "masiibo lasoo direy". Of course, they did not succeed in giving the Somalis a better life, and all their success and failures is judged through clan prism depending on who is doing the talking. But I agree, the initial steps of these rebels were necessary. I personally see it a great cause to remove a dictator who is bombing his own people with mercenary South Africans. It is even a greater cause to remove religious terrorist from our land. I would seek the help of Isreal to erase Al-shabab and ISIS from my country if I could.

Like of Aidid, Abdullahi and alike just wanted to replace Barre. The Somali public and their qabiil were means to an end.  Their only interest was power and they were going to do everything to get that even at the expense of the country.

The last time I brought up Aidid and the missed opportunity of not letting him govern the country, many SOLers didn't agree. I think there is something unique about the old generation of Somali politicians that is quite nationalistic and fascinating.

Aidiid was closest to Ethiopia, contrary to the propaganda told to Somalis in Somalia. Mengistu/Derg documents were open and many ONLF folks have seen them.

Aidiid was prepared to sign regarding border similar to what Barre signed with Kenya, no problem.

That would have been not possible with Somaliland's or SSDF.

Aidiid was also too much of a chauvinist. In one conversation with an Ethiopian, he spoke of Somalis puting them in dfiferent levels. What he did not realize was that the Ethiopian guy came from a nationality that was looked down and discriminated during haileslassie days.
