Peace is a precious commodity in the Somali peninsula. Hopefully, these two habro sub-clans are wise enough to realize what's at stake.

 

In the last couple of days, close to 20 people died fighting in eastern Mudug. No serious person can say why these people had to die or what was to be gained in starting the conflict.

Oodweyne It is bit too late now (over 27 dead). Sending

useless ministers ( who were part of the problem in the

first place) and the Sanaag Silanyo appointed governor

who was chased away with the barrel of the gun after he

tried to assist Silanyo side after they got defeated. So don't

come here with your naiveness only found in Alice in

Wonderland, not the reality though.

 

 

Even Silanyo elders admitted ministers such as Mohamoud

Hashi (who are famous for taking part of the 90s habar habar

wars) were behind the fighting.

You can not fool people at this day and age. If you keep profiteering from the public purse and government positions to enrich your kin people will rise. In Laascaanood The governor is from Hargeisa and the police chief is from Burco , which means the locals are occupied, yet for decades Siilaanyo was telling people that the main reason SNM was fighting was " they were dominated by people from Kismaayo and Garbahaarey in their own land".

 

This is square one . Folks get ready for Somalialnd to be divided in ten or twelve small counties. If people were not happy about the way southern federal states were set up, get ready when Somaliland dissolves. Some folks in Hargeisa are already complaining about been land locked .

It is always better to question, and think outside the box, and not be a blind supporter, now once a die hard SL supporter, Salaax, seeing how bad things are, or his community threatened, then he is being questioned if he is really from SL.

 

That tells you a lot about Somali politics. IT will be not long before others see how any institutions that does not have a good merit, good foundation, unjust, will crumple eventually.

 

As SL, I think I don't believe it will be in gone after Silaanyo, universally there are things that unite people, could be right or wrongs beliefs, tribalism, patriotism, racism, religions, madly looking for recognition, SL is now in trouble and Shaky , but still majority of SL people still are followers, have something to unite, which makes different from other regions of Somali Republic.

 

As for Salaax, I don't think he is pretender, but someone who finally see what SL is , how vulnerable, unjust, after 26 years, a very interesting case, and for die SL supporters now, before you think of Awdal and Khaadumo, and Maakhir, isku dhejiya Habro community first.

Well my community is not some weakling that can be robbed.

They have heavy weapons in their hands and won't hesitate to

use it again if threatened. Lets see if Silanyo has learned his

lesson from the past two clashes or if he is too foolish to

get his people massacred again. Facts are when we were

liberating this district from Siad Bare forces they were hiding

in the mountains and today they want to come down from
