The Turks build it and they are doing that out of goodwill and their interest reconstructing Neo-Ottomanism , we welcome the development projects. The TURKS are competing with the Chinese and the US in Africa Yesterday he was in Djibouti and the day before in Ethiopia , The TURKS are on a mission they want to place many African states under their sphere of Economic and Cultural Influence. Lets just hope the Anarchists from Galguduud the likes of Axmed dont try to disrupt the peace and try to harm these beautifully constructed projects.

I welcome Neo-Ottomanism in the region. If Turkey wants to cultivate allies in the Horn of Africa, then so be it. We will benefit and so shall they. Somalia and Turkey have a long relationship, stemming back to the days of Suleiman the Magnificent and the Ottoman Empire. Even the Somali warrior Ahmed Gurey had a military relationship with the Turks....so this is a recreation of this old relationship. God bless Erdogan

Erdogan has done in 2 years what the West could not do in 3 decades, which is to build something meaningful for the country.
