A nice way to escape while Villa Somalia is being raided by Al Shabaab rockets. I won't blame him.

Cheapshots asides, The defence minister is in Sudan for the interest of Somalia. He was brought in by Farmaajo and have kept his job since then. In other words, he is doing pretty good.

This is embarrassing for Somali government, don't these ministers know who to meet when they came to a country? This defence minister is meeting with soldiers not his counterpart, does he not know that?

the DF minister job is to make sure soldiers have proper training , bullets and heavy artillery . Fiqi is not touring for no reason , Sudan has promised to train Somali soldiers and provide them with heavy artillery.

he has commanders in the front line ,

Maybe instead of going on endless rounds of beggin tours, the leadership should collect on what has already been promised. How many countries have said they'll train Somali soldiers?

Endless rounds of trip or not as long as he delivers the heavy weapon , bullets and training he is doing his job .

kiss *** whatever it takes to get SAF strong we welcome it

The Fund for the Somali Armed Forces needs to keep in mind soldier tags, the country will need between 30 thousand of them during the reconstitution period, and more afterwards as it expands its manpower. That's roughly $500k to import them, or you'll need at least 40 tons of steel and a pressing machine. This will systematize the new military and a proper data-base can be created as a result.
