Maaddeey

Ayoub, thanks for your explaination, Ninkan Boondheere ah waa is yeel-yeelayaa.

Here's another verses of al Quraan al kareem:

Ar-Rum (The Romans)

الم (30:1)

30:1 (Y. Ali) A. L. M.

Ar-Rum (The Romans)

غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ (30:2)

30:2 (Y. Ali) The Roman Empire has been defeated-

Ar-Rum (The Romans)

فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ (30:3)

30:3 (Y. Ali) In a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

Ar-Rum (The Romans)

فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ (30:4)

30:4 (Y. Ali) Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision, in the past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice-

The Arabic text above translates as follows:

After the (scientists') geological sweeping of the planet earth, the scientists discovered that the lowest land-area on earth is the area of the dead sea, and the dead sea's water reduces approximately 380 meters. And when the Romans were defeated in this land, the following Noble Verses were revealed:

Arabic (from right to left):

‏30:2 غلبت الروم

‏30:3 في ادنى الارض وهم من بعد غلبهم سيغلبون

30:2 The Romans have been defeated -

30:3 In the lowest land on earth; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

ادنى : The lowest (Reference: Lisan Al-Arab), which means the lowest area on earth.

And the Romans defeated the Persians after seven years from the time the Noble Verses were revealed. And to GOD is all authority from before and after.

2- More proofs from more Noble Verses regarding the word "lowest" (ادنى):

The following table contains a new important update with many proofs from several Arabic dictionaries about the precise meaning of the word ادنى .

the verse is clear that it says the sun
sitts
on muddy spring. and about tafsiir.

the word ''sitting'' has never been used before, in any translation. even pikthal you have used talks of ''setting''

there is no such a thing as an extreme east and extreme west? In fact, one can keep on going east or west until one is back at the point where one started. A flat earth would have an extreme point in all four primary directions (east, south, west, north). Our spherical earth, however, only has an extreme north and south (the poles), but not an extreme east or west (neither east pole nor west pole). This shows that not only in quran, but even the Islamic tafsiiir makers several hundred years later still had a wrong understanding of this earth. On this earth, east and west are only directions but not locations.

only in theory, if you know what you are talking about.

.

and about quran always talking about middle eastern Arabian scenery like food and different fruits and animals actually there are plenty of evidance that. even in Paradise(jannah) if you look close how people in paradise life going to look like it actually remainds you a lot in 7th century Arabia.

i wonder what that evidence will be!!!

Like people of Jannah are going to have

Round about them will serve, to them,
boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.

waxaa ku dawaafaya wiilal yar yar qurux baddan oo aad boodo sidii Luulka aadna loo ilaaliyey

why would i need beatifull boys to serve my food. and why someone finger point to boys quruxdooda??

ka waran haddii aan ku oran lahaa dalxiis ayaan aaday hoteel weeyn ayaan ku dagay cuntada waxaa ii keenayey wiilal yar yar qurux baddan??

ka waran isla markiiba waxaa is dhihi laheeyd sick. this dude is a homo pedofile who like boys!.

why would your ''likes'' and ''dislikes'' matter?? don't be too obsessed with your poor self

Ar-Rum (The Romans)

this quranic verse 30:3 you wrote here Yusuf ali's Translation whichs

In a land close by
; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

and mr maaddeey lets see if quran translations not one but many of them agree whit your ´tafsiir of the verse 30:3

فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ (30:3

In the lowest land on earth
; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

ادنى : The lowest (Reference: Lisan Al-Arab), which means the lowest area on earth.

Okay lets see if that tafsiir is true or not . here we have tafsiir from different translators both Muslims and non Muslims and unfortunatly non of them agrees whit your tafsiir whichs

In the lowest land on earth

lets start the actuall verse in arabic form.

30_3.png

Sahih International

In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome

Muhsin Khan

In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious

Pickthall(non muslim translator)

In the nearer land, and they, after their defeat will be victorious

Yusuf Ali

In a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious

Shakir

In a near land, and they, after being vanquished, shall overcome

Dr. Ghali

In the more adjacent (i.e., more easy to reach; the Levant) (part) of the earth. And even after their being overcome, they will overcome (the others)

mr Maaddeey you see here. your tafsiir of that verse(30:3) is just unfounded and untrue.

In the lowest land on earth

Non of those quran translators translated word أَدْنَى as what you claime whichs( LOWEST). all quran translators some of them native Arabs translated that word as( Near/Close).

mr maddeey come up whit other scientifical verses becouse this particular verse aint one.

@Boondheere, when the scholars translated the Quran, these scientific facts where not available to them so they picked the closest meaning to the word but the actual word in its Arabic context is closest or lowest. It wouldn't have made sense if they said lowest given the time they lived in so they took the secondary meaning that was (the closest Roman-controlled land) which was the Jordan area at the time. That was the border of Arabia and the Roman Empire. In both ways, both translations remain legitimate and are undeniable facts and that only adds to the greatness of The Quran.

I've explained in here, forming a religious position (or providing a translation/interpretation yielding as such) to claim a credit for something after it's been established by some other means is a form of bias. It even has a name - it's called 'hindsight bias'. You can't tweak the Koran's translations like that just to make it match with science and then claim it as a miracle of sorts that indicates the Koran's validity as divine work.

you cannot always use the believe of other's to justify yours. be independant and argue freely.

islam is this and islam is that, doesn't justify your quest for disbelieve.

you champion on digress and denial. the only assets in your favour. you can never handle an argument straight.

you are so immature that many times one resists assuming a child in the body of a ''man/woman''

It's ironic that you have responded to my post with the above yet you are telling me that I can't handle an argument straight. Practice what you preach and try to handle my argument straight by responding with a real objection instead of posts like the one above.

it is clearly recorded your stand against the religion, but that says nothing about who you are.

you can oppose one thing, but an opposition is not a position. so position yourself first,,, the rest is meaningless.

p.s. existential crisis is the name of the phase......
