In search of Resting Place: The Azania Aliens

Recommended Posts

Abtigiis

They cannot own land, they cannot own state, they cannot administer, they cannot dream ambition. They have a home; they have to be content with it. It is refugee camps, it is IDP settlements. These are the nobody’s of Somalia, owners of nothing, children of nobody - the Azanian aliens; Galeano’s Los Nadies. They do not have names but numbers; they do not have faces but arms to work for the owners. “Running like rabbits, dying through life, screwed every which way.” Rest is in their footloose feet, in trekking eternally.

Real nationalists fight Siyad Barre with the might of Mengistu, attack Mogadishu riding Abyssinian tanks. Freedom-fighters storm Hargeisa under the cover of Ethiopian artillery. Elsewhere it is patriotism. Elsewhere it is liberation. The Azanians can only commit treason, not strategic partnership, not opportunistic nationalism. Alshabab can only be defeated by Somalis, not by Azanians aliens.

We are in the season of semantics, and the high-noon of it. Sovereignty is for the peripheries, not for the center. States are for landowners, not for tenants. Land is identity. It is history. Whether it is rightfully yours or wrongly acquired, it seeps into your blood and psyche. It becomes part of you. If you know the value of land. If you know the value of Puntland. The value of the Jubbas. Azanians should look for it elsewhere, not where the weeping bones of their ancestors lie. The Azanians must consult the land owners, must assuage petulant pirate discomfort before embarking on grave sins of searching for resting place.

The Alshabab menace can wait, it can. With Alshabab, the sun rises from the East and sets in the West, with clear skies. Not so for the aliens. The sun will rise from the North and stay there, thunders and avalanches will engulf the land of the rivers. It is Armageddon; it is the end of nationhood. We still haven’t shaken-off from the round revilement reaped from the missteps of the Azanian fingerless (Faroole), reaped by geographical association, more accurately tribal affinity. We still will be cursed. For seeing inconsistencies, for detecting anomalies.

There are no more Chinese walls between tribalism and nationalism, the art of terminology and words bridged that gap. It is this blend of hybridized nationalism that Fukuyama should have called the “end of history”. History hasn’t ended, it can’t end. But we certainly ended its "caravan" episode with the Azania enigma.

Read all about it, A&T finally admits he is pro Azania..whatever next...

Two Somali guys met at collage enrolment day in London. One accused the other of lying about his age. After a long argument, the accused admitted he was fibbing and added two years to his age. The accuser quipped "berrito ha inoo ahaato laba sanadood oo kale inaad ku darti baa inoo balan ah".*:)

A Kenyan bufferzone project on Somali soil that serves the interest of the Kikuyos who by the way already illegally Colonize Somali territory NFD this how ever does not bother Mr Abtigis. if you knew the value of the land the soil you hail from you would never support or perform a ritual dhaanto dance for the Kenyan Kikuyo incursion into Somalia. This is not about Azanians not having rights in Somalia as Citizens no one can deny the indigenous inhabitants of any particular region of Somalia their right for self rule. This is about cherishing and protecting the little dignity and respect that is left in Somalia but some people believe Alshabaab insurgency will stop with Kenyan tanks rolling into the lower juba the situation will only further escalate Allow nin aan waxba ogayn haa caadaabin.

This is a good read.

It is a serious reflection of Prof. Abtigiis' conflicting views and contradicting stances. All of sudden the good Professor cannot reason beyond clannish considerations. All the objections that were raised against Kenya's invasion and the Azania project become mere rationalanization to oppose the perceived interest of his clan. Deep down in his last layer of consciousness, Prof. Abtigiis opposes the invasion. His analysis and practical experience shows him how unworkable it will be for an state to be erected on the raw force of foreign power. Yet the essays in defense of both keep flowing from the Professor's mind, giving voice his warring thoughts. The argument is lousy, and lazy and does not stand for scrutiny. However, even most absurd of ideas are readable when expressed with such eloquence and flowery language Professor Abtigiis employed in the above post.

The prisoner complex is coming through once again. In search of a homeland is a noble thing. The problem here is the Juba's are not a one clan region and Dr Narnia has to compromise with the multitude of clans there. Hence the need for a Kenyan army to support the foundation of the state itself. Puntland and Somaliland were created by the people on the ground connecting the dots. Narnias leaders can not even visit the ground without Kenyan tanks, though Kenya has not even managed to get there.

The Azanian fingerless is not claiming the region for himself and his clan. He is merely at the helm. Let's be fair.

Look who is lining up to crucify the mad professor! It is telling. In the Somali political media, only one group has the loudest voice. it is the usual suspects who are barking again. Apparently, if you have to serve foreign interest it has to be Ethiopia. Or it must be you. It becomes a crime when others do. Lest some of the fingers I am pointing are pointing at me also, I don't think Kenya's aggression is good. But a fatuos cyber General, yesteryear's cheerleader of foreign aggression, cannot surely pillory Gandhi from the hole of an Ethiopian security office in Garowe.

Ghandi and Narnia is as smart as Jess and SPM. Prisoners are getting their knickers in a twist with an entity that does not exist. Surely one can not talk about hate for Ethiopia when his folks in Goday proudly proclaim their love for Ethiopia waving the flag, when he is related to Abdi Iley and watches as his singers in the Diaspora sing in foreign Habashi hymns.

Surely he can not be claiming to be a nationalist when those proclaiming their love for Kenya's invasion Yusuf Hadji, Farah Macalin and the fake Shiekh Ahmed Madobe along with Gahandi all happen to be his clan.

Yusuf Yey was an equal to Melez and used him to crush his enemies.

Your uncles are working for Zanawi even as we speak and the rest are working for Kibaki and the remainder are Prisoners elsewhere.t

It is a grisly sight, brothers; and only the cursed ones can live long enough to see this sin. Look at the devil beatifying! Look the incorrigible sellouts denouncing treason! Age can make you witness odd things.

Believing in and supporting the likes of Omar Jess and Ghandi will no doubt make one exclaim out loud that "search for a resting place for the Azanian refugee"'now is kissing Kibaki's behind the way to attain ones peace of mind? Lool

In this bazaar of nationalistic hoodwinking, all Somalis can partake in the act and skit. Somalis wear the skin of nationalism in shifts in a given day. Some are nationalist in the morning, others at midday, and the rest in the evening. There is an exception though. Yey's progeny can't enter the hall. They can't share the play. They are too tainted, they are too compromised. It won't wash and it gives away the whole game. Those who wore the badge of Ambassadorial treason can only have mouth to censure others in the land of the audacious, the land of pirates!
