Its was on a friday in the blessed month of ramadan that the c/yusuf's puntland malitia chose to carry out surprise attacks against Somaliland's positions and they eventually paid a heavy price for it.

In my view, all this is too little too late, the tide has already turned and it seems nothing will resolve this conflict but a fight until there is one clear victor. Many feel the time has finally arrived to finish the unfinished civil war of the former Somali Republic.

Why hope for continued fighting? I doubt you would be cheering this if it were localized in Burco or Hargeisa.

So kowneyn, how many innocent people did your men kill smile.gif ? Are you proud? How much money did you send? Better still don’t forget that its Ramadaan, charity does go a long way, or even a better idea, why don’t you go and join them on the battlefield ;) . I mean it’s all justifiable after all; the cause of the mujaahidiin is always a worthy one (even if it is against their own brothers).

I am so confused walaahi, how could any sane individual want war and bloodshed? Or maybe it is just that, no sane individual would.

SOL keeps getting worse by the day, first it was photographs (as a show of pride), then folks openly vying for war. Can it get any worse? What next, we killed 200 men whilst you guys could only manage killing 180 of us?

You mean that you feel it is time to finish the unfinished business( Watever dat is). Soomaali waxay tiraah daa Aqoon Xumo Abaar Ka daran. Obviously, you haven't learned anything from 20 yrs of Somali wars. No authority state or otherwise can impose itself on people. Save your time, you may win few battles in Sool, but eventually you will lose the war. Why you might ask. The simply answer people in Sool by large don't want Sland.

Arrin xumona abaar ka daran. Dowladii ku talisay Sool dagaal ha lagu qaado, iyada uun baa ku jabi. Somaliland goverment has proven itself to be incompetent beyond any reasonably doubt. If it attacks Lasanod, it is another example of its incompetence. The matter of the truth is the south has done everything humanly possibly to help Somaliland cause. A decade of southern unrest and out right anarchy was more than enough for Sland leaders to deliver recognition, and they failed. Now, you are simply frustrated and take your frustration on someone. So my advice to you is if you wanna finish unfinished business. Finish off your goverment, and replace it with something worth your cause. N stop your useless warmongering against poor people of Sool cuz they are not standing in your way.

Dont kid yourselves.

You all know very well that war is unaviodable,

your avoidance of the Somaliland issue and hiding your heads in the sand will not suffice when a fully functioning government is installed in the south.

When that happenes war is guarenteed as you would attempt to foolishly enforce your dream of Sacred unity.

If war is comming in the future i say why wait,

why not start it now, why not secure sool and Sanaag. It is not about right or wrong it is about opposing aspirations.

Somaliland will not wither away, even if that is your fantasy, you will have to face up to the reality.

Do not accuse people of warmongering when your own position expressly supports a war.

and about riyales government, Somaliland can survive and win a war even with our parasitical treasonous government.

Oda-Wow Duqa, yu can't this war to start, very eager indeed. Could that be you won't be there in person to actually fight in it.

The only one seeming to enforce anything now is Somaliland. I don't see any Somali army taking orders from Mogisho marching towards Waqooyi Galbeed. N even if proper and well functioning goverment is installed, I doubt it will declare war on anyone. Besides any war in Sool won't between two States. It would be largely prolonged nasty tribal war between Qabiils.

Somaliland will not wither away, even if that is your fantasy, you will have to face up to the reality.

Dats true, n the oppisition to Somaliland from Sool will not also wither away. It is time you face up to reality.

Honest question; Where does that leave Somaliland?

And if as in your view it's an unfinished war, what does that say about Somaliland's achievement in the last 14 years?

Peace is SL's pride; can't the score be setteled in a more diplomatic way...?
