Saxar , calm down . No one will take your Land.. I am first one against people from my region to come Somalia or even take citizen cause if we do so ; we may loose our rights to claim over our land and become part of another Land, even the other Land is Somali Land too.

Salam

The chances of this cabinet to operate effectively are so dim to even send a flicker of hope. The most qualified MPs were being left out of the remaining ministerial selections just to appease some warlords because of their notorious background.

Cawad Ahmed Asharo, an orator and well-educated politician whose relentless campaign has helped the election of the president was unfairly left out of the remaining seats.

Asha Ahmed Abdale, the first female to raise the requisite underpinning of female representation in Somalia was also left out. Without her political campaign and advises, who would have thought of the importance of women's distribution to Somalia. Again, in my personal views, she was left out to avoid overrepresentation of a clan she does not even represent while failing to evalulate and consider her political aim or goals.

This is the gravest fundemental attribution that PM geedi could conceive and make for the role of these two important politicians that were left out unfairly, fearsome might be the effect of their influence on international appeals.

You act as if this recently-appointed federal government is a well-established political entity with a long history of justice and equality. TRUTH is the nobodys you mentioned above knew what they were signing up for when they first decided to join this government. Don't cry foul after the big fish decided to play a real man's game. Get more guns - maybe then they'll have a chance to eat with the hyenas!

lol @ windtalker. No there is no need to get more guns, it will just aggravate the Somali crisis. However, there are brilliant ways to soften the layers of grim thoughts that the warlords have as their belief system. They can make their cases heard for future effect of their role. Now that they have missed their appointments for new positions, the challenges ahead are great. Give true chance to peace.

Many obstacles lie ahead. Some warlords are still hostile toward the transitional government and some in the international community refuse to support Abdullahi Yusuf, either because of his military past or because the transitional government is predicted to fail. But abandoning the peace process and the newly elected government would be the worst disservice to the Somali people. Though the challenges are innumerable, four humanitarian imperatives must be addressed by the Somali people, the new government and the international community. International Herald Tribune
