Libaax-Sankataabte Posted December 8, 2008 Eyl is one of the oldest cities in Somalia. The Mad Mullah thought this city on the deep fissure was the perfect place to build a base. Today the town is buzzing with a different kind of activity full of buccaneers. It is the headquarters of Somali pirates. This is their sort of a command center. Watch this fascinating video. Kool_Kat Posted December 8, 2008 Piracy is the way to go...They're at least sharing some of the wealth... Can't wait to see how the S/land navy will handle them...This might be their ticket to recognition, can you imagine the possibilities... Allow yaa yiraahda wax idinka sii jeeda ha'isku soo jeedinina...

RedSea Posted December 19, 2008 Aaliyaah, Eyl (Nugaal) is an old town, mostly vacated on the coast of Puntland overlooking the Indian Ocean. It's quite exotic place If it were to develop, I am sure it would draw many tourists.
