How He Married: What do you think of this man?

Recommended Posts

STOIC

I think about this song, everytime I glance on this topic,

We are young, heartache to heartache we stand

No promises, no demands

Love is a battlefield

We are strong, no one can tell us were wrong

Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing

Love is a battlefield

Youre beggin me to go, youre makin me stay

Why do you hurt me so bad?

It would help me to know

Do I stand in your way, or am I the best thing youve had?

Believe me, believe me, I cant tell you why

But Im trapped by your love, and Im chained to your side

We are young, heartache to heartache we stand

No promises, no demands

Love is a battlefield

We are strong, no one can tell us were wrong

Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing

Love is a battlefield

Were losing control

Will you turn me away or touch me deep inside?

And before this gets old, will it still feel the same?

Theres no way this will die

But if we get much closer, I could lose control

And if your heart surrenders, youll need me to hold

We are young, heartache to heartache we stand

No promises, no demands

Love is a battlefield

We are strong, no one can tell us were wrong

Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing

Love is a battlefield

We are young, heartache to heartache we stand

No promises, no demands

Love is a battlefield

We are strong, no one can tell us were wrong

Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing

Love is a battlefield

Xiin,am assuming the bravery your hoping Ibti to identify is the ability of A&T to show case his vulnerability by sharing this story of his life, his misfortunes and the demons he is battling with still..

Ibti, its usually considered bravery when a man shows emotions,as you know men are from mars hence their alieness!.. :D

^^ Wrong. It's more to do with what you would calll wrecklessness (in Xiin's book it's bravery). :D

But, on a serious note, a man that would go back to the same house after marrying the younger girl when the whole household thought he was after the older is very brave (not your noble kind of brave but brave nontheless). :D

^^ I think I heard you once say that you were the same age as Castro. The same Castro that sold that famous horse to your hero? Adeer ega daa :D

Ayeeyo,

I had a friend who did exactly the same thing as A&T did (ok, minus the eloping part). I think I even saw you at his wedding. :D

ps

I understand you were a smelly student at the time and were not up with the local gossip. :D

Heh. Xiin, I admit that I'm over the hill, saaxib. The only difference is that you and Castro (or cataracts, as I playfully like to call him) are already down the other side. :D

Heh@ayeeyo. I am sorry to have upset you. It's not nice to annoy poeple in your condition, bad flu plays havoc with the hormones.

^Lol, xabiibi, maxaa ku watey inaad waxaas akhriso...InshaAllah, you've recovered from seeing that much faxshaa :D

A&T, Waxaan maqli jirey:

"Nabsi waa madaalo duli ninkii cantuugaba hubkoo soo dul dhigayaa, dadnimada aqoonso"....or something to that effect.

Nevertheless, you learned a valuable life lesson!

p.s nice story, even though I was hoping you wouldn't succumb to your nafs. :D

If this is true (I doubt it very much); then Xiinoow this is not courage or bravery; but a classic example of man becoming slave to his Shahwaat!
