  1. WHAAAT? Is that all the clothes they could buy with $100? Somebody is getting ripped off big time. The most they should have spent on those clothes for the 6 children is, at most, $55. I am hoping some one decides to challenge me to prove it - then I'll actually show you that they could have been clothe for even less than $55.
  2. I am curious to know if the ships recently taken over were plying in Somalia's territorial waters? If so, then that would be an intrusion on Somalia sovereignty and they should be severely fined for that. However, if the ships were plying in international waters - then that can really produce major problems and is very wrong since they have a legitimate right to cruise in open territory.
  3. Remember, who pays the piper always gets to call the tunes. Somalia must begin to exercise its own sovereighty by paying its OWN bills. Beneath the sands of Somalia is an ocean of oil wealth that will never be used to address Somalia's poverty. It will be siphoned off by foreign so-called "investors" only to further impoverish the poor natives of the land. The gov't should establish a long-term fund for oil exploration and drilling so Somalians can benefit totally from its own resources.
  4. King - how can you at a distance determine that Mr. Farar Nur was killed by a muslim. Your vision exceeds the normal if you can convince me. The propaganda that you are making an attempt at will not profit your religion none. America is the world's greatest killer so you shall reap no harvest in attempting to plant the seed that it is in some way a better place to live.
  5. Kool_Kat - Here's wishing and hoping that your brother makes a full recovery and get past this. It is very unfortunate that the world must house devils of this type. Best wishes: Peace and Love
  6. The French again with the arrogancy of white superiority has made a horrific mistake. Were the children to be killed for their organs or given over to grow up as servants is the question I asked. Either way, it was an illegal act deserving serious punishment alone with a hefty fine for all the guilty. These childrens were being stolen from their families. We must always remember that white people are our only permanent enemy; and we must begin to relate to them with that as a mindset.
  7. AAliyah416 - Peace. I believe it is in some other countries as well, but I don't know for sure.
  8. NOT A JOKE but a serious fact about the ATM: If you are ever approached and about to be robbed or forced to withdraw money from an ATM, if you enter your PIN # backward or reverse, the ATM will still let you have the money, and at the same time notify police. The ATM's are designed with that as a safety feature. PLEASE DO NOT PLAY-TEST. This is a real fact. The police may come up shooting first while you're just "checking to see if it works"
  9. The George Bush government has decided to build a military base somewhere in Africa in response to the growing Chinese investment in several African countries. Therefore it become obvious to all but the blind, deaf and dumb that the USA intends a campaign of destabilization across the continent whereas China's intent is purely economic expansion. If the USA had good intentions, it would simply match or surpass China's investment in the African economy. The USA cannot construct this military outpost without getting approval from a host country. Any country giving approval would be highly suspect of accepting bribery and its leaders must not be permitted to enjoy the fruits of such ill-gotten gains. Once this outpost is established,Africa will witness a heighten level of destabilization and other high crimes in order to make unstable the Chinese investment. The USA modus operandi is always divide and then conquer. This tactic is practice at home and abroad.

  11. The RIGHT HONORORABLE MARCUS MOSIAH GARVEY - The greatest international leader that the modern world has known. It is a tragedy that Liberia's President King double-cross Garvey after agreeing to a plan of colonization. President King chose the Firestone Rubber Company instead of Garvey. Africa today would be a single African government and a standing world power had Garvey been allowed to implement his program of "Africa for the Africans, those at home and those abroad".
  12. Yep. I believe you are lost. If you look at the topic heading it tells you it is HUMOR and NOT a joke. Now surely you understand.
  13. So why it that Black people are the most religious people in the world, and at the same time, are in the worst shape of any people in the world. What's with that? Has God abandoned us? Believe so, just look at how prosperous others are. Naw, naw - the devil is KING; He's not such a bad guy after all. Just think, he's got more friends than the other guy, plus one doesn't have to much of nothing to please him. He likes to see us fussing and fighting, drinking and driving, scheming and conniving. We can have all this fun, But,no, you want to bring in this strange looking fellow named Jesus of Nazereth to mess up our fun. You know he's trying to get everybody to follow his ways; but he ain't got no money- he ain't got nothing but talk with him. Hell,I need money to pay my bills. This Jesus keep telling me the Lord will provide. I use to believe him, but I kept waiting, and the Lord never did provide. By this time, it was to late to pay the bills, the Lord didn't provide, and the bank said they wanted their money from me or they'd repo everything I got and never lend to me agin. At least when I am with the devil and need money, his suggestions to get money are endless. Take for example, just yesterday, I needed a pint of liquor real bad. I asked Jesus for it first and do you know that, "Jesus wept". So, listen, while he's weeping - I'm still in need of a drink, bigtime. So, my buddy, the Devil comes along and I tell him my dilemna and he said, himself, that Jesus won't help cause he ain't nothing but a crybaby and an always do-gooder. He told me that the ways of the world would kill Jesus if he keep going like he's going. Sure enough, it did. He was nailed to a cross. So I say ok, ok but I still got to get some money to pay these bills. Would you believe, no sooner had the words left my mouth, the Devil showed me where some easy money was. It came from a 90 year feeble old lady who just cashed her social security check for $20,000. The devil told me to ease up next to her and snatch her pocketbook and run fast as hell. I was kinda scared so I ran about 100 miles cause I knew hell wasn't all that far away from me. Gol-ly, it worked so since then me and the devil are now partners in the business of "Snatchers by Satan". We plan on a listing next year on the New York Stock Exchange. If you are interested to reserve your shares - you must check with Mr. Satan, C.E.O.
  14. Peace. The ALMIGHTY has destroyed New Orleans !!! ya: Please do NOT re-enter. WARNING  Easy to say, eh? You've heard it said before somewhere in the bible about Sodom and Go. Seem like we been here before and it is a very uncomfortable feeling. The question begs - where do we go from here; repeating. WHere do we go from here  Suggestion to Consider --- Why not a group of us begin plans and return to Africa and reside in several of the countries. Rather than rebuilding in the hurricane corridor, we could make a new life for ourselves in our natural lands. We can do this together. Perhaps the younger generation can stimulate an interest in spearheading such a discussion at the MillionsMoreMarch to move it forward as an organized project. You ask why don't I do ? Hell, I can't do ev'ry thang; I just came up with the idea - do you realized that it took me over 50 years to get the idea to match the feeling. That is why I know it is so right and the right thing to do. So, sumbudy else s'pose t grab on to de idea and git t movin' 'fo de lead start t stick. After the water has receded, the dust settled, storms all gone, we'll all have a mess on our hands to clean up, fix up, take down, put up, wipe up, wash out, do this then that, etc., it'll take time to get over the material losses. The human loss to our African family we will never, ever forget. As a group, we must grow to make the best of this bad situation. We must LOVE and PROTECT each other from now on. This is time of uncertainty for white America so expect to see their preying eyes lurching about for any little thing of value that you might claim. We witness how our folk was neglected, abused and some were outright killed by government forces. After almost losing a large part of our family - would you want to put your life in their custody again - I'd say NOT; we're on our own so let us move forward, not looking back, and make the new life in a land where the people look like we do. So the job at hand appears to get a responsible get-it-together person to paper it around so we can charter and board several ships back to our "promised land". Say, let's plan for about a year in advance of sailing having fund-raising events, parties, donations, paper sales, etc., doing these kinds of things for a year in all the USA cities ought to raise enough funds to pay to charter the ship plus provide enough support funds for an organized group. I'd think a group like this, under this circumstances would be more deserving of foreign aid than the state of Israel. But that's another bridge not yet built. If any serious party is interested, the next thing to do is whatever is convenient to get you going. What I fear is a lot of people are gonna want on those boats so that's a lot of work and a lot of love for somebody younger than myself. Count on me as one supporter of whomever is up for the task...... _________________ "If I do it; then it is certainly done" _________________ "If I do it; then it is certainly done"

  17. Peace ! Come on Africa; we are the best in the world! Let sanity and common sense prevail over us always. Africa is so rich with natural resources that we allow other nations to exploit those resources and become rich themselves leaving the poverty to Africa. Poor, poor Africa! Those same resources can, instead, become money for Africa's use if we so decide. How? By gradually weaning away from a floating currency and adopting a precious-metal backed currency (PMC) as a single African currency. This floating currency oftentimes devalue itself to the harm of a domestic economy. Look now at Zimbabwe, for example. Africa can do better. A precious metal backed currency(PMC) would have to be revalued more often than devalued, thus contributing to a much stronger economy. Precious metals such as silver, gold and platinum,of which Africa is abundantly blessed with, should be minted as content for a currency because of the permanent value of the mineral. Common sense, right? This currency would offer a flexibility for market trading based on production quantity and market demand. Therefore, it is conceivable an African mint could operate fulltime manufacturing money and only Africa would decide when enough has been produced. Now, when a precious-metal currency exist, the U.S. dollar, the euro, the franc, and all the other currencies, not backed with a precious metal, are rendered inferior and have to suck-up. These currencies would be obligated to adjust their value in relation to the value of the PMC. How fast would the fortunes of Africa rise if this new currency became real with an unlimited production? The mineral commodities should definitely become the "second oil patch" for Africa and prevent Africa from becoming a consumer nation full of foreign products. Africa PMC become an export of significance. Use of the floating currency is a cause of Africa riches floating away and a carefully devised scheme of mineral-poor nations to become wealthy at the expense of Africa. A floating currency will perpetually keep Africa in poverty until Africa use a genuine, authenic money(currency) and lift themselves out of this bad situation. This must not be delayed another 5,10 or 15 years. This new currency can be phased in right now alongside the existing money, over a 3 to 5 year adaptability period. By the way, this same money could pay off all the IMF & World Bank aid loans and never need take that path again. Perhaps, they'd have to close shop since they could no longer bleed African countries dry with high servise charges and interest. Africa maybe able to make loans to them with PMC. Corrupt officials with a different agenda are the likely opposition to PMC. They'd much like to keep things as they are rather than advancing a whole people. However, this is an African national security issue and the will of the people must prevail, even to the point of cutlass-intervention! It's your money Africa, now do you want it or do you want to continue giving it away for others to become rich while you hold the begging bowl? Do it soon or I shall continue to taunt you!!! Larry L. 19. Peace! The question begs is African development the responsibility and job for Africans or the G-8 to do? If it is for Africans, then each African need to carry his fair share of the load. This is self-help. Starting from the ground up, Africans must own, control, and develop its own interests.Every culture does that. Let's not change the rules (???) on that. Usually missing from the agenda is the most important item and is given scant-attention though it is the proper and right solution. The MONEY and where should it come from ! Money, or the lack of money is the problem that Africans can overcome by using some of the abundant precious metals which can be minted into a single AU currency as legal tender. This can provide comprehensive development across the continent while improving and increasing intra-Africa trade. Trade and development is the only route to prosperity in Africa. Equal development across the continent is a desired goal that can be reached when Africa can control and regulate its OWN money supply, rather than being subjected to foreign funding. Without the single currency, the AU will prove a waste of valuable talent diverted from an otherwise fine model beginnings. The G-8 and its allys, IMF and World Bank, continue to (mis)develop Africa by forgiving prior corrupt-laden loans over and over again then squeezing the peoples treasury by charging debt service and penalty fees. These actions cause much less of the peoples money to be available for the peoples to spend among themselves.  Their debt-forgiveness serves as a penalty to Africa and a double, and sometimes triple-dip for commissions as gains for these bankers. Very little is given, yet much is taken away. This is a path for Africa to only self-destruct. One would think that if expensive debt-service and penalty fees are payed to the banks for use of a loan, then that should be the entire value of that particular loan. Any further conditions placed upon a loan will under-value the loan and over-value the debt-service. This amounts to a free ride for the banks. It has been reported that every dollar lent to Africa by the G-8 returns to the lender twelve dollars! This is an outrageous profit and should be taxed accordingly by the host government; or better yet, these type deals ought never be made. This is NOT the way to prosperity. Say NO to the G-8 aid and yes to development. In conclusion, we are at a crossroad and a crucial decision have to be made about the destiny of our beloved homeland. Will Africans continue a path that will lead to being a continent of consumers of G-8 products or can they break the mold and become self-sufficient people by increasing trade among themselves. A campaign to "BUY PRODUCTS MADE IN AFRICA" could be an effective way to remind people of the importance of "carrying their fair share of the load". Finally, fair trade must be emphasize over foreign aid. There would not be any need for foreign assistance if Africa received a fair price for its products and resources. Thanks for your interest. 22. I sure hope that China wins India's heart since they are both Asiactic peoples. So it seems it should be a natural. India, though, has been known in the past to do backflips at the whim of the U.S. in order to get a pat on the head like a good puppy. Never mind Union Carbide and Bhopal, where victims and their families were given mere pittance for their losses. India refuses to flex its muscles on the world stage, yet calls itself the world's largest democracy. What's wrong with that picture? A nuclear power that will couragiously fight its brother-nation,Pakistan; yet will not speak out in defense of Palestine or other defenseless people. Will a few dollars and a few jobs supplied by the U.S. cause India to sell its soul to the devil? Can one imagine such a powerful bloc if China and India cooperated fully in commerce, military, and scientific endeavors? They could rule the world, especially the under-developed countries. Another Bandung conference is urgently needed to discuss and act on these measures for the good of the world. I'm done. QUOTE]Originally posted by wind.talker: Beijing and Washington are fighting for India's heart on the Asian geo-political stage. What's at stake: bilateral trade, energy security, resolution to border dispute that led to Sino-Indian war of '62, military & cultural cooperation, civilian nuclear & space programs. The U.S. uses similiar ideals of democracy and capitalism that are found in both their nations to advance its geo-political agenda(s). China, on the other hand, uses good neighborly relations and historical ties as a way to gain India's favor. All part of China's "peaceful rise" initiative to become a global superpower. Who will win? Who fill fail?
