Republic of Somaliland is a stable and peaceful democracy . In contrast to the problems of the south of Somalia, Somaliland has made progress in establishing the basis for economic growth and lasting peace, in spite of its failure to gain recognition as an independent state. President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud 'Silanyo' has been President of Somaliland since his election in July 2010. He will speak about his plans for Somaliland and the country's regional role. The President will discuss the opportunities presented by Somaliland and will reflect on the peaceful transfer of power after July's successful elections. It worked ,, and some of people come during the night. My friend was receiving his father, he was told to come at 7pm ,,,, then said it is delayed untill 12 midnight ,, then finally it came around 2am ......... that was few months back ,,,

"say Walahi" ... Walahi It is the best for those coming from Europe & US so far ..... and they land here at 10:30am which is the best time everyone can get u from the airport.

The current Kenyan company now has twice a week flights direct from Nairobi to Hargeisa ...... on time and comfortable.

There is no other region in the entire mass of the land Somalis call home where clan is worshipped and clannishness is glorified more than it is in Somaliland He must be talking about Muqdisho here ... that is the problem when you judge things upside down. I'm sure he never set a foot on Somaliland soil.
