    The degree of difficulty of the Somali language is inversely proportional to its usefulness. So unless he's trying to woo a fine Somali woman (or man :D ), he's wasting his time. He's better off learning Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin or Hindi.

    SeeKer, long time atheer. You must know that the NFL season is by far my favorite time of the year. I'm not sure I can give you any fantasy pointers since I always did poorly in my leagues. Also a little late now but if you can get a prolific QB (New Orleans) and a consistent kicker (anyone but Jeff Reed), you should do fine. A WR with good route-running skills won't hurt either.

     

    This year it will be one of the Mannings to win it all. You heard right. I'm calling it in the second week.

    We have reliable intelligence that Mushtafa Abdel Machmoud (MAM) (age 28), a regional leader in the Somali Al-Shabab group is meeting with his lieutenants at a safe-house just outside of Buule Burde at 23:30 EAT (East African Time) today. The clearance from the POTUS to liquidate this target extends through this month so no further clearance is required nor will it be requested.

     

    We also know that the safe-house in which this meeting will take place houses several families including women and children.

     

    Now, it is unlikely that our target will be found alone to reduce the risk to innocent civilians. Furthermore, it is important that as many terrorists he is meeting with are liquidated simultaneously.

     

    Our solid intelligence on the ground estimates there are between 2-4 adult women and 12-15 children under the age of 16 in the compound. It is also possible that there are several servant slaves and a number of elderly.

     

    As you are all aware, a Tomahawk TH3v4 missile carries a payload of 2000lb. A single TH missile would likely destroy the entire compound ensuring the death of MAM and any co-conspirators. We will be deploying two TH3v4 missiles to ensure success.

    We're on the same page for the most part. I'm no less outraged by the wanton killing of civilians by the means you mentioned. But brother, please, the Shabaab, ostensibly, are a Muslim group. That they would approve of and use such tactic is unforgivable (in my view) much as the carpet, surgical and other bombings are.

     

    I think the Shabaab have lost their way. You are free, of course, to convince me otherwise.

    ^^^^ Occasionally you sound normal.

     

    Nur, the only two issues I have with the Shabaab are the suicide bombings and their utter refusal to talk to Sharif (even though the more I hear this guy the more I am convinced he has sold his soul like Yey did before him).

     

    So in a way, I can understand the latter but the former is a show-stopper for me.

     

    Unless they change their ways (which is highly unlikely), I'm done with these fools.
