  1. Actually, Afnugaal has matured a bit-I remember a time when they and few others used to refer Puntland as Mjtania. They still need to improve.
  2. ^You two must be in love and repel each other at the same time.Let me know if you guys need help with this state of confusion
  3. Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ The mandate thing is what supporters of Sh. Sharif use when we tell them that AMISOM are not that much different to the Ethiopians. The self-defence argument is also what they use when we confront them with stories of AMISOM firing on Somali neighbourhoods. Che is correct in using BOTH in his argument whilst still insisting that he is against the presence of such troops in the first place. There is no contradiction at all. Thank You!! Xiin...We have different views on what the picture is or will be or ought to be.
  4. ^Xiin, even Sharif's denunciation of Ugandan mercenaries wouldn't register in your minds. It is hard to argue someone with someone who won't accept the flaws in their argument. So, why do you support the Ugandan presence? Let NGONGE speak for himself.
  5. ^None of you said actually why you support these mercenaries?
  6. ^AMISOM joined the fight on the side of the government, plain and simple!!!
  7. Torres-It is simple question of are they allowed to join the war on one side or the other? Now if you wanna dispute the facts on what happaned last Saturday and Sunday, that's another story. There was no indication that AMISOM was provoked, and even if they were, there's limit to how peacekeeping force can actively participate in combat. As for their mandate, for it to be legal, they must have the consent of all the parties involved in the conflict. We all know Al-Shabaab has opposed them from day one day! Xiin...Your story of benevolent peacekeepers is not flying anymore!
  8. ^ Hi Dear, Where'sthe fun in phone Shunkaasi *did you just write your first Somali world*so proud Who told you Somalis ar expert in that genre of Shukaansi?
  9. I will be very surprised if they will kill these men. Al-Shabaab's leaders despite the rethoric are pragmatic. They knew these men are useful alive.I expect Al-Shabaab to hold on these hostages for long time, but I doubt they will execute them. These men are bargaining chips and tool for propaganda, disposing of them won't be useful to Al-Shabaab.
  10. Extremists 'have French hostages' A second French hostage has been handed over to the hard-line Somali Islamist group, al-Shabab, government sources have told the BBC. "If they are in the hands of al-Shabab it is very, very serious," said a source in the Somali presidency. The group carries out public executions. The first man was reportedly given to al-Shabab on Thursday. The two security advisers, who were training government troops, were seized from a Mogadishu hotel on Tuesday. BBC East Africa correspondent Will Ross says that, unlike other insurgent groups in Somalia, al-Shabab is unlikely to be holding the men for ransom. bbc
  11. ^She got smitten with Tanzanian.I blame Malike for introducing her to this fella. She was so close to being over-Somalinized.
  12. ^LooooL@forgetting.. .I only had that problem with one or two people. The thing I do when that happens is that I tell bad or distressing news. Nothing gets them more excited than story glazed with agony (Alla hooga). The trick is not running out of stories or resorting to bad lies.
  13. ^LoooL.the problem is I drift away eventually and stare into distance. I think it's only fair they do something to keep us interested-anything. It's even harder to do the listening over the phone. And another thing they have problem and I know this is cliche is not believing there are times a male mind isn't really doing any thinking or processing thoughts.
  14. ^There are no government installations in places where the fighting was going-perhaps Nuune could show us again the map where government troops "push back" Al-Shabaab..Just tell me what government installations are in Kaaraan? AMISOM went to fight along government troops which is very clear violation. This wasn't self defense or protecting government institutions-somethi ng you want to overlook. Anyway here's the latest development The African Union forces will take part in the fight directly to the government side, which has been under heavy pressure from the armed opposition, while Egypt announced it is now a comprehensive initiative to end the crisis in Somalia. Jowhar Now don't tell this is not violation. And your bit about acknowledging their presence, it would be silly to say they are not, but question are they here legaly and don't they even serve or follow the very purpose they are sent here to accomplish. The answer is NO. So, I guess you support their presence in Xamar? Why and how are they different from Habashis, and keep in mind, Sharif himself equated them with Habashis in the past?
  15. NGONGE-And this is to keep the place alive
  16. Women should just let you know when they want you to listen-no telling me problem and expecting no solutions from me.
  17. ^What does the word "claiming" means in your world. Don't confuse ethnicity with place of residence or hometown-not every tied their ankle to place they never been to simple their Qabiil "owns" the land. Beledweyne was and is melting pot!
  18. Lazy-Shangoole is actually closer to him than he's to me clanwise which the only thing Duke understands hence why Duke has the number, but Shangoole's family is from Beledweyne as is my family.
  19. ^Agreed we shouldn't encourage criminal, but don't condemn people before they have their day in court.Anyone can accuse anyone else of crime, but let jury decide!
  20. Simple questions-answer them instead of going back and forth, side to side and doing boogie woogie.
