Remember, Pland, Jland, and opposition were demanding him not to be involved in the election process, fire all security heads, and dissolve the parliament. Their real goal was to stop his candidacy. Why should resign now since he is part of process. He will be forced to resign if he opposes this new initiative.

You are right, there is no very organized clan militia, and the SNA despite efforts by some people is not splitting. That said Somalis waa dad easily xamaasado qaado.
