  1. Please, you're pathetic. Is this the best you have? Your uncle, may God curse him, brought two years of destruction, invasion and humiliation upon HIS OWN PEOPLE, all out of thirst for power, and you DARE call selling a triangle in the ocean "the greatest treason in history"??? Have some shame, God is watching us.
  2. I could care less about the Sea. Shariif will be remembered as the man who helped rid Somalia of Ethiopian troops, whereas Yusuf will be remembered as the buffoon who brought them in. Give it up, everyone outside of Puntland hates your uncle's guts.

After you finish reading the article, come back and answer these questions. 1- In the Somali political landscape, which side is being supported by the Western imperial powers ? Who is being sheltered and protected by Western-funded mercenaries ? 2- Which side is being denounced as barbaric-terrorists ? Which side has the support the masses ? Which side has withstood the scheming and machinations of the entire Antarnashal Kamoonity ? 3- Did Fatah not cheer on the destruction of Gaza ? Did Mubarak of Egypt not assist the Israeli onslaught by sealing of the Rafah border ? Again, once you fully digest the article and ponder on the questions above, you'll find my analogy very accurate, and then some. I could dedicate a whole thread to it, laakin short on time. Attempting to portray me as ignorant of the affairs of Palestine is unbecoming of you. There is nothing in that article I haven't read a million times before in a thousand other articles. 1 - What is your Somali equivalent of Gaza? Xamar? In that case how is Shariif cheering for its destruction? It just doesn't make any sense. 2 - Shariif has never been BACKED by the West, he's been ACCEPTED by the West and there's a major difference in there. Also, Shariif has never been used to wage war against Shabaab (like Fata7 was armed to crush 7amas) - the proof: President never attacked the rebels, the rebels attacked him. 3 - MAJOR POINT: 7amas was ELECTED, I repeat ELECTED by the Palestinian people. Shabaab came to power shooting people. Also note that in Gaza, women are free to choose whether they wear the veil or not, and 7amas has built hospitals and schools. How many women are free to go veil-less in Shabaab areas? How many hospitals and schools for girls has Shabaab built? You are very convincing walaal, but I'm afraid this latest analogy of yours just doesn't work.
  4. The comparison between Shabaab and 7amas, TFG and Fata7 is VERY weak. Also, there will be no Israeli jets or any other kind of jets bombing Xamar. Shariif may be inexperienced, but he's no fool. He knows you can't bomb Shabaab without bombing the neighborhoods they've infiltrated. He knows having foreign planes bomb Somalis is gonna turn public opinion against him. And let's not kid ourselves. The people support Shariif.
  5. This government is backed by the Somali people. Have you forgotten the President's triumphal welcome to Moqdishu?
  6. Shariif = 5 days of bloodshed, 200 dead Yusuf = 2 years of bloodshed, 16000 dead Yusuf invited the Ethiopian army in. Shariif signed a peace agreement with Ethiopia to get the troops to leave. Please, this is a very bad time to redeem old man Yusuf. Have some respect for the people who are dying right now.

  8. lmao, the solution is the recognition of Somaliland? Go tell that to people in Xamar.
  9. Originally posted by Emperor: ^All true, the death toll is 125 the injured is unaccounted for, the displaced in their tens of thousands, all this is because of the war between men of the same ARS, Shariif Ahmed and Hassan Dahir, yet you call it propaganda, have some shame.... The war is happening because Caweys is a jealous old hyena who can't stand the fact that Shariif is more popular. But to lie to SOL members quoting INVENTED news stories that say Shariif is asking AMISOM to bomb his own people...that is a fine example of propaganda. I wonder what fake news story is gonna pop up next. "Demons from hell mounted on elephants come to aid Shariif's government"
  10. Will you stop the propaganda for once? Shariif asking Ethiopia for help? Shariif asking AMISOM to shell the city? Are you f*ckin serious? Don't you realize how preposterous that is?
  11. Why would he travel to Kismaayo? The homeboys were supposed to be on his side. Why go suck up to your brother, when you're bound by blood? He had to go talk to the enemy in Addis to make sure that Ethiopian troops leave Somalia the **** alone and stop infiltrating across the border. Result? No Ethiopians in Somalia anymore. He went to Turkey to ally himself with an emerging power. And he was very wise to do so. Turkey is the number one mediator in the Middle East, right after Egypt. But Egypt isn't taken so seriously because of the peace deal with Israel. Turkey, on the other hand is hated by no one and respected by all (except maybe the kurds). Turkey can send old jets, tanks, can train the Somali Army, the future Air Force. It will also be a gateway to the EU in the near future, and so on. All in all, a good move. He didn't want to expel AMISOM troops because the international community would interpret this as a hostile gesture, and this could mean loads of trouble. Remember, Shariif isn't only accountable to his people, he is accountable to the world. If he comes across as too "extremist" who knows what might happen? Yesterday, it was Ethiopia, tomorrow it may be the US. Politics is a complicated and dirty game, and it doesn't work without a little ***-kissing between countries. I think you misinterpreted Shariif's efforts to defuse tensions on all sides, and saw them as sucking up to the West and corruption. You are of course welcome to interpret things as you wish, but I personally believe you're wrong.

  13. He didn't desert anyone. He tried to do what's best for his country, but you were all too short-sighted to see it. You thought the man could sprinkle a little fairy dust and Somalia would instantly become paradise on Earth. Well it doesn't work that way, it takes a lot of hard work and diplomacy to run a country. It's all gone to the dogs now, anyway - this was a great chance for peace and rebuilding, but you squandered it. I hope you're happy. May I remind you that Shariif NEVER said a bad word about Shabaab before they started besieging him? He wanted Shabaab to be a part of this, he wanted everyone to be a part of this. But it only takes a few ****** who think talking to outsiders means sleeping with the enemy, and who declare their brother's blood to be xalaal and everything goes up in smoke. You're so hot-blooded. You're like those kids wasting each other in the streets. You're like those commanders sending young boys to their death. You haven't learned that bloody revolutions don't work. Don't you know that wars begin when you like, but do not end when you please? You think it's as easy as killing a few people, taking power and then we're back to peace? History has proved you wrong a million times. There was no reason for this tragedy and all the other ones that will inevitably follow it.
  14. Sure! But don't forget to throw your precious Shabaab commanders in there. It's funny how people change, isn't it? One day you're a hero and you fight for the nation, the next day you spill the nation's blood because you want it to bow to you.
  15. Are you kidding me? Shabaab is far from the "united front" it used to be back in the day. I supported Shabaab during the war with Ethiopia, but today's ash-shabaab is not the same anymore. Today's opposition is a rag-tag coalition of young men who know nothing but war and would rather blow something up than talk to another human being. It's not their fault, it must be something in the air. Now don't get me wrong. If Shabaab wins, and the victory is FINAL then I'm happy. But I'm highly skeptical and I think other power struggles will ensue.
  16. Then Shabaab 1 will find something to criticize about Shabaab 2 and everything will start over again. The value of human life needs to be re-learned for the fighting to stop. The war today has little to do with clans, foreign troops and other bullshit excuses. It's simply a total and utter disregard for human life. Madness. Bloodlust. Call it what you want. Everyone who has a rifle needs to slap himself back to sense and then go to sleep. If you can't do something productive, go to bed.
  17. It's ****** raving like rabid dogs that need to be put down. It's the bloodthirsty dogs that need to be put down, they have caused enough tragedy these past 20 years.
  18. LONG LIVE THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA!
  19. Yusuf invited the ethiopians in. Nuff said! The TFG has always been a joke, Shariif at least tried to turn it into something decent.
  20. If Shariif survives, he will deserve to have his feet kissed. If he manages to stay in power, he will have earned his right to lead Somalia.
  21. Nah man, Somalia is on track to becoming the next Atlantis.
