Abdullahi Hassan Yalahow, 18, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for attempted murder and eight firearms offences after he allegedly shot the victim once in the right eye and once in the back of the head with a high-calibre pistol before fleeing in a dark-coloured SUV. Craig Skelton, who believes Yalahow may be in Ottawa, said police don't have a motive for the shooting. But he said the victim and suspect know each other as they both came to Calgary from Ottawa and both are Somali, although the Sun has confirmed the victim is a Canadian citizen. "We have some ideas but until we have an opportunity to go through that with the victim it's speculation," said Skelton.
