  4. The United States is planning a new strategic command to take the global War on Terror to the Horn of Africa. Sept. 17, 2007 issue - America is quietly expanding its fight against terror on the African front. Two years ago the United States set up the Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership with nine countries in central and western Africa. There is no permanent presence, but the hope is to generate support and suppress radicalism by both sharing U.S. weapons and tactics with friendly regimes and winning friends through a vast humanitarian program assembled by USAID, including well building and vocational training. In places like Chad, American Special Forces train and arm police or border guards using what it calls a "holistic approach to counterterrorism." Sgt. Chris Rourke, a U.S. Army reservist in a 12-man American Civil Affairs unit living in Dire Dawa, in eastern Ethiopia, says it comes down to this: "It's the Peace Corps with a weapon." Newsweek

Ghanima: Cafis iyo masaamix for Ramadan's sake. Sometimes I'm an abrassive, tell it like it is kind of person and to be honest I wasn't all that serious on my 1st post in response to your "close-minded" comment, ilaa aad indhaha ii kala rog-rogtay and your "100% right" remark . That got my ire up [i overlooked the "nearly" part on purpose too ] Calaiyaxal, I love you my sister [from another parents] Maybe as you deduced I was shaydan ridden, maybe not LOL. Maybe in a crappy mood venting my frustrations on Xawash/the wrong person. Who knows! Ramadan Kareem habiibty.

  11. rudy's comment reminded me of an islaan I met at a protest, chanting anti-Ethiopia/TFG slogans:[Ethioipia..dhaawn, Abudlahi Yusuf..dhaaawn, Meles..dhaawn, Geedi..dhaawn, Maxaakiimta..aaab] So now, FFM..dhaawn!

However, I think that the belief that your aunt is unquestioningly right is rather high level of arrogance. 22. Glad that there is some accountability being held! Kudos to the legal system. Fri, August 31, 2007 Police hunt for shooting suspect in Sunridge ambush UPDATED: 2007-08-31 01:43:07 MS By DAVE DORMER, SUN MEDIA Police have identified a suspect in a brazen shooting outside a Sunridge movie theatre earlier this month when a 24-year-old man was shot twice in the head from close range. Abdullahi Hassan Yalahow, 18, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for attempted murder and eight firearms offences after he allegedly shot the victim once in the right eye and once in the back of the head with a high-calibre pistol before fleeing in a dark-coloured SUV. The victim had just left a showing of Rush Hour 3 at Sunridge Spectrum -- at 32 St. and Sunridge Blvd. N.E. Det. Craig Skelton, who believes Yalahow may be in Ottawa, said police don't have a motive for the shooting. But he said the victim and suspect know each other as they both came to Calgary from Ottawa and both are Somali, although the Sun has confirmed the victim is a Canadian citizen. "We have some ideas but until we have an opportunity to go through that with the victim it's speculation," said Skelton. "I can tell you for sure the victim was specifically targeted and (the suspect) was laying in wait for him to exit the theatre. Skelton called the fact the victim survived "miraculous" and said he is still in hospital but is blind in his right eye and lost hearing in his right ear. "Surprisingly, he's very cognizant of his surroundings and circumstances, given the amount of trauma to his head." Neither the victim nor suspect has ties to local street gangs, said Skelton. Yalahow, a black male, about 6-ft. and 152 lb., should be considered armed. source ^ What can be done about this growing gang culture? Another two Somali young men were shot dead last week in Calgary. These men were not a member of any gang, infact one of them was married with children, so if anything it may be a case of mistaken identity, although I can't see this being of any comfort to the victims family. Allaha u naxaristo, samir iyo iimaan eheladoodiina allaha ka siiyo. Somali haddaan nahay waan dhibanahay, dhinac kastaba waa ka gubanay, dil halkan iyo xagaasba! Yaa rabi.

It's just another thing that's been past down from generation to generation with the woman doing the cooking and cleaning and the man all the talking. Housework, helping ur wife cool, cool...... lakiin changing the diapers? Can i get a UFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! Unless there is a hadith from the sunnah that tells us nabi scw changing diapers, i declare it haraam! ^ How is it haram? Washing your baby's poop is no different than washing yours, it takes no special skills really, other than "don't break the baby." So, man up dear. In a perfect world, men change diapers so that they can watch the kids for a while, and give the mom who's caring for them most of the time a nice, and well deserved break.
