this is sick. an 18 year old somali lady gave birth to a baby last night and left it in the trunk of her car while she went to the hospital and denied of giving birth. it was all over the news last night. how could anyone do something like this. was she insane? :confused:

hey, this whole somali olympic thing has led me to wonder, are there any good somali runners out there? have you or anyone you know currently run track and field in the 1500m, 10,000m, or even the 100m ? i don't know about you guys but i say we send more runners with the potential to win a medal to the 2008 olympics in Beijing, China. it's time we put somalia back on the world map and take back the respect of nieghboring countries as well as the rest of the world. i don't know how you guys feel but i'm somewhat disapointed in the 8th place finishes for the mens and womens qualifying rounds for somalia. i think we can do better, a lot better. if you know any runners with potential, ecourage them to keep running and training, you may never know, that person could be the 1st medal winner from somalia...EVER ! .

even if she had "won" that race she would be disqualified. in the the 100m, 200m, and the 400m all runners must stay in their lanes ( i'm 80% sure on this)
