    I HATE MY JOB

I luv my job coz I luv my salary My boss is a great guy,,, I used to see him normal manager, till I saw what other managers' r doing to their staff  Bismillah. (Unstable Freaks ) I don't like the moody and unstable managers. But then, I realized that there is a HUGE difference between being a manager and being a leader. Anyone could be a manager, but not everyone could be a leader *Friday Philosophy* P.S> I guess I will hate my job, if my boss would be a woman... Allahu Akbar... I tried one female director once, and I was about to consult a shrink LOL
  2. To live with the wolves, you gotta be a wolf (sharpen your teeth & nails and show'em the ugly face) Anyway, this problem is not in the Somali Community alone... Rudeness, lack of manners,,,etc could be found in any community.... All in all, no need for any SWOT analysis for your personality LOL.. Just act wise: be tough with the tough ppl and delicate with the nice ppl. P.S: The word Saqajaanimo sounds gr8.. ori-gi-nal

Then, we had this beautiful beach in Al Raha Beach next to Al Raha hotel and Resorts, then they closed it to build a new mall called "AL Raha Mall". And now, crazy constructions are everywhere in Abu Dhabi.... I can't believe that I am living in an Island where I don't know where to go for swimming (of course I can't trust the swimming pools: u know allergies and all these European females jumpin here and jumpin there.. End of Report, from Abu Dhabi with Love The-Siren: Good soldier, I strated 2 like u.
  4. Hayat, besides tea with cinnamon and cardemom, have u tried drinking Tea with Zanjabiil (Ginger), so tasty

    Good Vs Bad Times.

Totally true, alhamdulelah for Allah's blessings (both hidden and visible). We should always see those who are below us and appreciate what we have, rather than looking at those above us and feel gloomy and depressed..... Of course, learning how to develop, gain and reach better life is not a bad thing, but getting blinded by the fake colours and greed of this life is what we have to avoid. Indeed, Allah is the most generous and merciful who keeps showering us with all the blessings, yet the humans keep denying or wait for great expectations from each others. Shokran for the wise words. P.S> I couldn't stop myself critizing the story u begin with: 1. He didn't have to give her his eyez to prove his love.. This is a typical blind love  2. Why he didn't give her one eye only and keep the other one.. anyway, lesson is learnt: neva donate eyez...

  7. The precious thing in our life is "Our Health". And without health there iS NO wealth at all. Now, why people underestimate the value of the most simplest thing, yet the most valuable and important asset in the world "Our Health".?? Attention Somali Ladies ,,, away from all the beautification methods, I guarantee to you: Do Three things to save your health: 1. DRINK WATER, Drink water.... I am really thinking about starting a small healthy campaign to convice the Somali women to drink water. They lied at women when they said "Diamonds and jewels are the best friend for women". CORRECTION : Water is the best friend for the women. 2. Eat Salads, Somali women break my heart, specially these women in UAE.... Oh my god, we lived in this country for 100 million years, and till date, the somali women do still focus only on eating rice, pasta, bread, sanoonad,,, and heavy oily things. Of course, add fruits to your daily food as well. 3. Everything has an art in this world, dressing has an art, driving has an art, speaking too. But guess what, even Sleeping has an art.... Live the moment,,, luv your sleeping time... the more you are relaxed in your sleep, the more you will look like a queen in the next morning.... Prepare your bed with lovely bed sheets, take a shower, put nice scents and go ahead "happy dreams".... Unleash your imagination and conquer the world Forget about Jaamac or Faraax, Cabdri whateva da name, forget about work & da manager...etc...(Wor k when you work, eat when you eat, and sleep when you sleep). Please pass on the advice to the little girls... Trust me,,, no more for artificial beautification... take the tips from my lips : Luv yourselves... and Remember you have three honest friends: Water, Salads and Good Sleep which will make you grow happily , glow beautifully and gain the glory of your life. To be continued .... P.S: I feel so wise this Summer, strange!!! (Yah I remembered: they closed the women beach
  8. I don't like "Ghost Whisper" though I like the actress, what is her name? Jennifer something (the same lady who acted in "I know what you did Last Summer" ). Maybe coz I don't digest the type of shows and movies which talks about Dead People who are stuck in this world and can't pass on to the other world blah blah blah.... Maybe the only good part about this show: is when some people should let go of regrets and grudges and grant forgivness.... it looks like "Dead Zone" & Medium

    Somalis Today!

^^ As I perceived it, it's a Jamaacah prayer (probably Friday), certainly you won't see women in that pic.
  10. Val, u reminded me with "Shark" that brilliant guy, was he a lawyer or something focusing on the celebrities crimes?? Lily, what gruesome?? the real gruesome is happening in the real life: All these bombing, killing, terror and injustice in life,,, trust me the real crime makers are those big-mouthed politicians and economists appearing on the TV News ...
  11. ^^ Maybe coz they always think that women watch shows like : Beauty, cooking, aerobics and love stories P.S> Just to know what the galz are watching!!
  12. Have u heard that the "National Bonds" investments (national saving scheme in UAE) has announced the draw for the 1 Million on weekly basis now instead of monthly??? More milionairs will be on the board very soon.. But the question is why not to complete the pending projects in Dubai with these millions??? National Bonds P.S.: I have invested on some bonds four yrz back, I won but that was only for more bonds not cash... I know just bcz I am a Leo Lady I won't be able to get a six figure amount from the NB investments
  13. I feel so sorry for her, she wasn't cheap in her songs or style. But this is not the first crime for the celebrities in Arabia, the strange thing is that the convictions took place in Egypt. It's not the Utopia, you know.
  14. Yeah I heard about bones and I watch an episode or two, I don't I just couldn't digest the acctress. Besides I don't know but I can't recall exactly which channel showed it. Rudy: good 4 ya,, don't trouble your eyez much, I can see that u r wearing eye glasses sporty man.

Instead let’s start by educating our people and let's know who our real enemies are. Last but not least-let’s unite our people. Nothing will harm us if we go on supporting each other for the sake of our people, county and dignity. Salams Ismahaan, I used to believe in the power of Education to change the current situation of Somalia. But, unfortunately, I figured out that education is not everything without Intention. A real, honest and firm INTENTION to change the situation, a collaborative intention by all the Somalis. But what you get is only someone who is blaming someone else for what happened. I wonder why people waste their present by crying over the past. What is gone is gone, why to stick to the past... And guess what, they keep repeating the same mistakes over and over and over. Regarding Education, there are so many educated somali individuals who came back from abroad with high degrees but with dark and negative way of thinking... the same narrow-mindness... they obtained high degrees from the highest universities, but it didn't add anything to their personality nor to the benefit of Somalia. I remember the below story which I read when I was 13 yrs in the newspaper, I really loved it and it still engraved in my mind coz it has a deep meaning. In brief, it says that a cannibal (the son of the head of a tribe) left his village to receive his education from a prestigous university in Europe. He stayed there for so many years, and one day he decided to retun to his home after he finished his study from the well-known university in a PH.D in Law . To honor him, his father and his folks arranged for a huge celebration. They decorated the village, prepared dances and speech for the happy occassion. He went for a walk in his village that he missed so much all those years. Suddenly, he heard a voice coming from a corner and he found a man in a cage. He approached the cage and to his surprise, he found that the person in the cage is his European classmate. His classmate felt relieved, happy and relaxed to see his classmate and asked him to free him. Strangely, the cannibal asked his classmate what was he doing inside the cage. The European guy said that he came to Africa for a safari trip but the cannibals caught him. And they will eat him unless the cannibal frees him. The cannibal told him that he cannot because its his tribe and he is a cannibal like them. The European told him "Why you have to eat humans, it shouldn't be and it's not a rationl thing to do. The cannibal replied: Because it's my culture, traditions and life law. The European said: But you have to be different from your people, you obtained education. You have to be enlightened by now. Besides, what did you learnt from the university??, what did the education and knowlege added to you if you didn't change your bad traditions and wrong beliefs. The cannibal replied proudly: Well, I learnt how to eat with a fork and a knife. P.S.: See how many cannibals we have in Somalia now, who came back with high degrees and the only thing they learnt is "how to eat with a fork and a knife!!!". It doesn't matter whether they are radical Islamists, or liberals or conservatives or even academics or educated young people.... without cleaning their minds from this weeds of ignorance and arrogance, nothing will work. And we will only have the cannibals and the followers of the cannibals. As I say : Every lender has a borrower and every leader has a follower....
  16. Well I love the following shows, I don't waste my time on TV. I would rather read and read and read or go out. BUT< I do schedule these shows: 1. The Law and the Order 2. The Law and the Order: Criminal Intent 3. The Law and the Order: Special Vicitms Unit 4. CSI: Miami 5. CSI: Las Vegas 6. CSI: New York 7. NCIS 8. Criminal Minds 9. Without a Trace 10. Numbers See, I am not a weirdo but I do really like to watch them, not bcz. of the crime itself, but the way they solve the crime. The problem now is after all those years of watching them, I can predict how to solve one.. I am totally of full of them but not fid up at all. Crimes happen for two reasons: either for a Motive or because of a Mistake.... it is too hard to prove the second one.
  17. ^^ It's like when you go to the Park only on weekends with your family to do grills just bcz its the weekend, but then u find the whole nation in the park doing the same Have you ever went to the Park with your family in the mid of the week and enjoyed the peaceful moments and lovely gathering, it's totally different. I think it will be great to go home in November or February.

I also want to hear from you! So, if there are any stories you would like me to cover while I am there, like restaurant reviews, the best healthcare clinics or schools, etc. leave comments, or e-mail me and let me know. By: Hayat Farah Speaking of the restaurants reviews, is there any restaurants for Organic food there?? Another question, is there any safety measures and procedures against the Swine Flu in Egal Airport??? One more thing, I would love to take my little kitten "Joy" with me, do you think she will like the atmosphere there??, and for the healthcare I would really love to get a list of the veterinary clinics? If not available, I will certainly cancel the idea of going home, coz Joy has to ENJOY, otherwise I won't enjoy. Merci Back to the reality: Why the rush to home in the Summer time?? I know ppl have work, study, families,,etc. But there are others who have the chance to schedule their flights on some other time during the year except for June, July and August... It is unbelievable to know that the flights are always full in these months... Does it feel good to be with huge crowds in the Airport?
  19. To add more, sometimes when any muslim nation with a flag of islamic texts wants to celebrate, they start dancing and shaking while carrying the flag with ALlah's name on it while shaking and dancing,,, not good at all. I don't understand why to change this flag,,, why don't they change their attitude & behavior instead??

  22. The_Siren: Cheap women are available everywhere, it depends where are u entering and whome u r dealing with. What if it wasn't Shisha Joint and it was a Chocolate Club, would it differ?? What if it was a Somali cafe and it was "Ladies Camel Milk Night?? and few Somali Ladies were doing the same cheap acts instead of Algerians, would you still call them the Dh... word??? Carabe wa Naag,,, I'am so mad with this statement, not bcz of the first part (Carabta), this is a closed-case "let everyone hate their own ethnic group and keep hitting their heads to the wall". NO, I am so mad because everytime Somali men want to scorn/offend someone/some people they call them "Naag",,, as if the word Naag has to be used for a disease or scandal or shameful thing
  23. I don't know why Faaraxs cannot be straight,,, so much Zig Zaag steps.. "Meeshi far ku geliso ban shani kaa saarin" Bottomline, be ready for all da possiblities: 1) Either, she will forgive you coz she is deeply into you (it depends on your magical virign blue eyez) 2) or, she will keep silent for sometime and walk away (She loved u but she has a dignity, and this will teach u; neva eva underestimate a woman's dignity". 3) mmm, In this point, you better be ready wearing your Anti-bullet jacket (Coz revenage is bleedy sometimes) Let's the truth sets you free
  24. First of all, every muslim should ask him/herself before believing or accepting any fatwa: Who is the person who declared it? Is he to be trusted? Is he a well-known Mufti who can say fatwas? Obviously & painfully, now any and everyone from the street has the guts to say a fatwa without realizing the danger behind saying fatwas and without knowledge or understanding. Second, I strongly believe that all the muslims should learn their religion and read from the trusted books. I just don't understand, we are not in the middle ages where the Popes used to control the holy books and never allow anyone to understand. We don't have popes in Islam, and no intermediaries between us and Allah, Islam is not like the other religions that limited its rights to one person. Islam has given us the right to look, read, learn and explore till we reach the truth about everything. No sit down and relax and let someone else to fill our brains with wrong interpretation and information. To the topic: I wonder, why the Shaikh couldn't provide better solutions and other alternatives like "If the wife is found to be Money-water or spend money on extravaganza items, then simply reduce the amount of money given to her or cut it completely from her NOT SLAP her". Any man should NOT slap a kid, a woman or even an animal... This is weakness and not a solution nor a manhod. Raising a hand is is not a solution,, it only suits those pyscho and unstable sadist... There was this story from the Prophet's time (PBUH). A youn man came to the prophet and asked him to allow him to commit fornication. Guess what, he asked him this infront of all the sahabah (The prophet's compaions). However, the prophet did not slap him at his face, nor asked the sahabah to kill him. Rather, he discussed with him logically while caring about his psychology : Would you accept it for your mom, the young man replied: No. Then the prophet (BPUH) asked him again: Would you accept it for your sister, and again the young man replied: no. Then the prophet put his noble hand on his chest and prayed for him and asked Allah to guide him to the right path. I wonder why the Fatwa announcer didn't consider such wisdom, mercy and logic in dealing with someone who wasted money on Abaya. FF: This has nothing to do with India or Saudi Arabia, Russia or even New York. Muslims are everywhere and you will find someone who is ready to give strange fatwas... Unfortunately, some muslim males don't know about islam anything but: 1. Islam gave me the right to marry four 2. Islam gave me the right to beat my women 2. And when they can't solve a problem with a woman the only verse they will say is "Surely it is a guile of you women; surely your guile is great" Let's work our brains before accepting and believing any fatwa by learning more about Islam, and for women I say: Know better about your rights and obligations... read well and open your mind very well and keep discussing. And if he slaps you (god forbidden)........Go d gave u a fist to defend yourself, do some punching (Under the belt is the best)
  25. Originally posted by sheherazade: ah, yes, another round of Arab-hating, for shame. As usual, the same broken record.... Next session will be about the Arabic Luban (Gum)... Firstly the Moroccan and Algerians (As I like to call them the Dhillo-Arabs and ladies you know why) Dhillo- Arabs... very harsh and guess what it didn't add anything to the cause you are defending.... Nothing,, nuting at all. I wonder how can you even say that word??!! Bottomline: Stay away from Shisha for the sake of your health... that's all.
