I in my capacity as political observer I hereby make a statement of prognosis on the forth-coming future situation and state of the Federal republic of Somalia. There has been a political shift in favour of one of the parties involved in the conflict of the south of Somalia, the umbrella orgaziation called the Union of Islamic Courts, who control 90% of the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu. I progose that: 1. The revolution of the people power will not stop in vain and it will continue all the way until the last steps of the warlords are eradicated! 2. The Union of Islamic Court will pave the way for negotiations between itself and the TFG to be held to reconcile itself with the Federal leadership of the TFG, therefore making it highly likely for the president and prime-minister to move to Villa Somalia. 3. Warlords will loose all their strategic areas, they used to control and most of their miliats will either join the political movement of the armed wing of the Union of Islamic Courts or preferably the Government forces to be trained in the former miliatary academy of Manaas. 4. Gheedi's tribe will not be 'fooled' by the warlords and they will stay natural and not extend their support to the likes of Yalahow and Co. 5. Somalia will come back, as a nation united under one strong leadership inshallah! 6. Gheedi will face the sack due to lack of political weight and influence of his clan and supsequentely replaced with a new prime-minister preferably from Galgudud region. It's a list of prognosis and not 'wishes', I am totally aware, that it's really hard to prognose anything in Somalia because, we Somalis are generally unpredicatable and indeed very pragmatic when it comes to politics, on the other hand one or two might be 'guilty' of political opportunism to 'further' their cause (whatever it might be) but generally speaking, I believe that all this event's will somehow come to surface in the near future inshallah!

S_B, why are you embarrassed? I think it was quite a good afford for a non-Somali speaker like you. If you strive hard enough, then maybe one day you'll master our beautiful language, don't be discouraged or embarrassed you'll come through it inshallaah. BTW there a few non-Somali people, who have mastered Somali, so there's hope, although Somali is a very "difficult" language to learn for "outsiders" like you!

For the Somali language challegned folks, the PM after an intensive and emercency meeting, that took place in Baidoa around 21:30pm local time and finished around midnight local time, the cabinet ministers together with the Prime minister decided to strip off the ministerial Posts and titles of the warlords, who have been in control of Moqadisho for the last 16years, but who have been hugely humiliated and disgraced in a battle, that only took 4 months, eventually they're hiding and on the run aswell! The Union of Islamic courts is now on it's way to Jowhar! They're preparing to capture Jowhar, which is only some 60 kms away from Balcad! Inshallaah they will capture it. It is also reported, that yesterday was the day, the last warlord left Moqadisho (for good inshallaah)! All the warlords have ceased to exist and are on their run. Ilqeyte together with the minister of religious affairs have found refuge in Baidoa! The Union of Islamic courts will soon inshallaah announce an "Islamic government" in Moqadisho!

Sheikh Shariif for President! OMG, this dude really looks like scary, I wouldn't like to come up to him in a dark alley, it would really freak me out!

It is said the the islamic courts are just outside Balcad and they're hoping to capture the city tommorrow inshallaah, further Qanyare is out of Dayniile and in Jowhar, whilst the big man of Jowhar himself is in Ethiopia for an "urgent" and sudden trip! Everyone now accepts the Islamic courts being in charge of Moqadisho, even the prime minister acknowleded that fact. Further reports also outline, that there was a potential confrontation between the SNA militias and the ones from the Islamic courts as they attempted to go into territory controlled by Aydid Juniors militia, the SNA, in order to capture landmark building, which would signify their rapid victory, namely Villa Somalia! Once they're in Villa Somalia, there is not doubt in anyone's mind, that the Islamic courts have indeed won the war for Moqadisho. It is also reported, that arrogant Muuse Suudi and Qanyare together with other warlords will indeed arrive in Baidoa, this time humiliated and forced too take, this dramatic actions as they lost all their areas, which they used to control. Earlier, they refused to come to Baidoa because out of pride and arrogance but now they'll come to Baidoa, inshallaah humiliated and disgraced!

The superiority of the Islamic courts, together with their determination and organisation skills have indeed succeed in the War for Moqadisho. On top of their miliatary gains, they also have won the battle for the mind and soul of Moqadisho residents. I do not entirely trust the Islamic courts but I've supported them from day one, as I see this as a choosing of two evil, but I took the lesser evil and therefore supported the Islamic courts. I am happy to see them gaining so much control miliatary and politic wise as they're in the vicinities of Balcad as reported they're 15 km away from the strong hold of Muuse Suudi and inshallaah, they will also capture Jowhar and this would be the end of warloditry in Moqadisho and surrounding areas. My greatest wish and hope is, that the Islamic courts can really peacify Moqadisho and remove the roadblocks for good inshallaah and I hope, that the TFG government then will inshallaah settle in Moqadisho! The courts will participiate in the political climate of this country in three years time inshallaah, when universal sufferage will be granted to all Somalis to elect, who they want for President. They can, then ofcourse elect Sheikh Shariif, Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys or even Sheikh Yusuf Indhacadde! But they have to peacify the whole city first as they have the upper hand in Moqadisho! The only hope Moqadisho has to get out of it's anarchy are the Islamic courts, who can bring back something that resembles normality in Moqadisho inshallaah. The war is over and the warlords are capitulating, how wonderful! If only the Islamic courts would hold fast to their promises of pacifying the whole city!

^I don't know, what is so funny about it. It's part of any other door to door sell, whether it is people knocking on the door, trying to sell your sofas and other furnitures or carpets! Ofcourse, they're not here to sell knifes as weaponary but as kitchen utilites and tools to have in the kitchen like a modern day kitchen could not do without. You forgot one of the biggest stakeholder of the south and the warfare taking place in Moqadisho. What about the biggest warlords Abdiqaasim, Ina Deylaf, Goobaale, Ina Seerar, Sheikh Shariif!

^It is already Qabiil based! That's why the Islamic court of Qanyare's clan withdrew its support from the rest of the courts! We all know that, the only one, who has got a big moral dilemma is Qeybdiid himself, who seems somehow reluctant to support his clan but on the other hand, he did not give support to the Warlords, although he is in the Counter-terrorims and Restoration of Peace Alliance!

^You make it out, that the people, who are fighting the warlords are mere religious figures, which they not. Yes, they draw the religious crowds to them but also many of their fighters are khat chewing militisas like the morons, who fight for the brainless warlords. There is undoubtedly a "third party" in the shadow apart from the US and Ethiopians ofcourse. Maxkamadaha are supported by wealthy people in the Middle East and Khaleej, who through Al-Jazeera came to the conclusion, that this is some sort of a Jihaad!
