  1. May Allah give you success and happiness to each and everyone of you my sisters. together lets all share an appreciation for all humanity!
  2. Nice stuff sister. In high school I did track and cross-country as part of my after school curriculum. I Manage to travel view places within the state and occasionally outside the state, but the experience at least gave me the chance to enjoyed my youth with no bills and no strings attached. It further took me away from the thug life that imprisoned most of my school mates. As i went off to University I only manage to get a academic scholarship. There i found myself in school activities and taking part of summer youth leadership programs which give me the oppertunity to serve as role-model in the shallow corners of my youth. But lately my time is a fragment- in fact there is rarely a social moment, all my freedom is now a nick of school assignments and "lacag ka dabba carar." Soon to be 25, and out of school in 2010- I'm ready to invest my time in the liberation of my people from the illness of clansmen, savages, and the devils they worship. i'm ready to be humanitarian to the african struggle:) K. 3. bit too long, but good story all and all. Abtigiis, yours should be on Oprah's reads. heavy literature.
  4. We should be little sensitive to the case. Perhaps Ali has a family with up to 7 kids- imagine their future in america without a father? hhmm, oh wait he was part of the regime that took more than 50, 000 people (right)? if he is found guilty hang the baster.

  8. "He blamed it on his 47-year-old wife, Nicole, who was still a virgin despite having been married to him for more than 21 years" 21 years? what was he doing, watching her pretty face? Tolow habeenkii ugu horeeyey maxa dhacay? perhaps film bay wadda daawadeen? or maybe he married to -He- made it to be her? hahaha, just adds to more wondering!
  9. ^ who said anything about selling. I never suggested a privacy for them in your bed room- rather i was implying that as a parent what you taught and stilled in your children should be evaluated with good faith. haday wiil iyo gabadh dareen isu'qabaan miyaanay ahayn inay hadal iyo isbarasho is dhaafa -sadaan? ma ceebaa taasi? why should it be a taboo to see two people with a mutual feeling hanging out together at the mall?
  10. lets just hope that our so call president will take advantage of the opportunity with a skillful military. I really do want to see Al-Shabaab being stripped naked. But we should also be concern for the civilian- its a difficult situation for Somalia unfortunately.

    Do You Smoke?

I smoke shiisha once in a while. does that count?
  14. Waqti lumis maaha waalal. Maybe two years is little to much, but we need to invest little more time in the relationship before you make any moves- each person needs to lay down his/her expectations and learn each others personality. Giving the fact that we live in a modern culture- our parents need to adjust to the times. they need to give their girls a space with trust to see their male friends. core principles should be the trust key between parents and children.
  15. the problem is deeply rooted within the colonial powers, they still have a control and contribute to the african problems. its also a problem of power and money- the government gets the money, and the white men and arabs are feeding the public with guns- now we are all fighting for the top!
  16. I have noticed that most often Somalis tend to rush things, especially in relationships. My question- is there a laws to process commitment? how much time should we invest on a relationship before we move on to the highest level? how about up to two years to build the foundation of partnership? there is an african saying that "Marriage is not a word. It is a sentence. (A life sentence!) With no hope for Parole" So put sometime and thought before you make it final.
  17. Tuujiye, Saxib Argentina waa little too old. I dont think they have the physical or the mental preparation to beat some of the other powerhouses. oh and dont overlook the Brazilian roster- trust me they know how to play together. "Shockers" I got my pick on USA.

  22. "you hear someone say she is indepedent and strong and that men are intimated by her? wtf,on the other hand,if she has a university degree and is educated she is also threating, give me a break" Horta you made a valid point- and agree with you that not all men are threatened by the popular believe that we fear higher knowledge. however some brothers want less educated sister because they feel that they can mentally control and manipulate them, or perhaps she will be home to do the house chores and look after the kids. and some women are okay with the idea, others wants to be the dominant one in the household. waa qaringan sheekada socota:)
  23. Any man who is afraid or fears an educated woman is imprudent, arrogant, and insecure. because he feels that his manhood has been challenged when the woman have the superior knowledge.
  24. just put morality and ethics aside, and explain what makes okay for someone to judge another and mistreat them just for the sake of their skin, or gender? well If you were brought up to belief that you're in fact superior to someone because of your race, and gender- thn you will continued to teach and instill that perception to someone else as an ideology, and that creates a handful of racist heads. But through education and human diversity brings the best answers to end racism.
